Walker warriors are split into 3 castes;
Seekers- Seekers are the scouts and the most apt at stealth. They excel at infiltration and stealth-kills.
Hunters- Hunters are the proper fighters, being taught nothing but war form a young age, a Hunter will follow it's leaders orders without fail and never back down from a fight.
Splinters- Splinters are a strange bunch, for their abilities lie in Guerrilla tactics, sabotage and trap building. In time of war they are sent in small groups to harry supply lines and outposts. It is dangerous work, and few Splinters survive their first 'Splinting' as it is called. Their technical minds and high death-rate give them great respect in Walker community

The Shadow Walkers have been in the Forks for around a century, when their founding ancestors built their land around leather and hunting stores. Here they learned their leather work, and created their distinguishing outfits and weapons preferences.
They joined Chieftain Walks-With-Spears in the Riverhead Confederacy almost immediately, they hated the Guards for taking up land that could be used by the Walkers, their Nomadic lifestyle was limited by their pathetic "civilisation", and they wanted it gone.
The Riverhead Tribe and The Shadow Walkers confirmed their alliance with the marriages of the Chiefs children. As a gift ,Walks-with-Darkness received 10 Pre-war military service revolvers. He quickly distributed nine of them to his greatest warriors, creating his personal bodyguard.
They are naturally a quiet people, talking to each other with brief questions that are usually answered by grunts or 1-2 words answers. They do not have the natural animalistic ferocity other tribes have and have seemingly infinite tempers, instead fighting with a focused concentration, never uttering a sound even in their death-throws. This was shown through during the Day of Saddness. When the ferries opened fire, almost 400 Shadow Walkers died. I took them 30 years to rebuild their strength and numbers.
