Stanley can be unsympathetic and harsh. But he's fair and just, though he is tempted with bribes due to his poor beginnings, he does his best to be an honest cop and an honest man.





Character History:
Stanley was born in one of the most shady parts of New Reno. His Dad was a wannabe gangster being used and his Mom was a prostitute that was killed a month after he was born. He grew up in an orphanage that was protected by one of the big gangs in New Reno, the owner having agreed to let them take a kid every other year into their gang. The kids there all became friends, because they had no one else and when one of them were taken away to a gang there was often some chaos that night. Stanley had managed to avoid getting recruited for a gang for nearly 15 years. But one day he got picked and he didn't like the gang that picked him. They were the roughest, toughest, meanest, most violent gang in all of New Reno. Stanley knew it was very likely he would be killed before he turned 18. So that night, he packed up what little he had and ran.

He ran for a good couple of months, trekking across the wasteland and learning it's ways. When he was 16 he came across a massive trading city called The Hub. He explored the city looking for work, and saw that a PMC called the WMC (Wasteland Mercenary Company). He applied for the job, not knowing all they were looking for is fodder for the enemy. Stanley however proved himself and started climbing his way up the ranks, all the way to Sergeant 1st Class at the age of 19. However, on a retrieval run along the coast of California, his team had to kill innocent people to retrieve the package or it would be lost. They did. Stanley had nightmares for weeks after that and he resigned. He wandered the wastes for a couple of months until he ended up in Shady Sands. He did some mercenary work for a couple of months until he was contacted by the Shady Sands Police Department and asked if he wanted to do an interview. He accepted and went to the interview. Apparently they liked him enough to where they allowed to go on a "Trial Mission" to see if he was right for the job. During the mission, he took down 3 hostiles and disarmed and detained the boss of the operation. They gave him a badge and he felt like as a cop he could redeem himself. And he's been trying to redeem himself for the past 8 years.
