Tet Offensive RP

You might have seen my recent post about interest in a historical roleplay. This is the first of that series. It will be based on the Tet Offensive, a military action by the North Vietnamese Army and Viet Cong, taking advantage of an agreed upon cease fire during the Vietnamese celebration of Tet (Vietnamese New Year) on January 30th, 1968. My vision of this roleplay is that it will not just be a ton of shooting, but also touch on some of the issues of that time, such as the civil rights movement, the anti war movements, the changing culture of the United States as the 1950s idealism and prosperity begins to fade, and the soldier's experiences in Vietnam.
