So Post-Empire won the initial vote, and then Second Galactic Civil War won by majority. So we'll be rolling with that. Below is a brief primer and some restrictions; feel free to post characters below. Keep in mind that below is linked a Wiki page. There may be spoilers there, if you ever want to read the books, but it's also a good place to catch up on what's happening in the galaxy because I can't possibly explain everything here. But I can answer questions if you have any. The Second Galactic Civil War. Shit gets crazy here. The New Republic is now known as the Galactic Alliance and basically starts slowly turning into the Empire again under the control of Jacen Solo, son of Han and Leia. The Jedi at large realize this and join a fairly sizable rebellion with the goal of removing Jacen from power. The Imperial Remnant throws in with Jacen, leaving basically the Jedi and Corellia and a few other planets and a fleet or two to stand against the rest of the galaxy. Uh, as far as restrictions go - I'm not gonna set anything too specific beyond some limitations on playable races. Just keep it real, and don't go being a canon character. If you're not sure where those vague boundaries lie, just ask me, and be open to me asking you to change something. I don't bite. Much. But this is a freeform, so I'm also open to straying away from canon as long as it's relatively plausible [ie being a Sith] and you talk to me about it. Rough character template's below. Feel free to add fields as necessary. Name:
Gender: Whatever gender your character most strongly associates themselves with.
Race: I'm not going to state limits here because then loopholes exist and I don't like those. Be warned, though, that if your character is of a species that is extremely rare at best (read: Gen'Dai; Fosh; Yuuzhan Vong are a bit of a gray area) if not outright extinct I'm probably gonna ask you to change it.
Age: I'd prefer it if you were at least 18. But I'm not your dad. Do whatever. Just keep it realistic for your race.
Force-Sensitive: Yes or No will suffice. Maybe a sentence or two on your character's level of training in using the Force, what they're good at, what they're bad at.
Appearance: This can be a picture or a description. I don't care as long as it fits your race, gender, and age.
Personality: Doesn't have to be long. You don't even have to fill this field out if you don't want to.
Faction: Are you aligned with a specific faction? Say so here.
Rank: If you're with a faction, you probably have a rank or title or something,
Equipment: Be realistic. Please don't pull a Gordon Freeman and carry more guns than you could possibly hold.
Ship: If you own one, detail it here.
Background: Doesn't have to be long or super-detailed. What's your character do for a living, how'd they get where they are, that sort of thing.

Name: Ar'daleth Varsus
Gender: Male
Race: Epicanthix
Age: 37
Force-Sensitive: Yes, unknown and untrained.
Appearance: Tower is 6 feet, 1 and a half inches tall (1.85m) and 210 lbs. Because of the heavy metal armor he carries, and because of his heavy training regimen, nearly all of that weight is muscle, with only 6% of his weight actually being fat. His hair is kept short in a buzz cut, as to not interfere with his helmet. Though like most Mandalorians who treat their armor as their second skin, He can very rarely be seen removing it, giving his skin a pale tan color, and leaving him with black hair and brown eyes. Though Tower has no scars of mark, his armor under close inspection is riddled with dings, dents and burn marks, though from a distance this is not noticeable as it has been painted over so many times.
Personality: Like most Bounty Hunters, Tower abides by most of the Bounty Hunters Creed. Unlike other bounty hunters, it only extends to members of the Ghost Syndicate and other Mandalorians, of which he considers them to be family. This is because of the destruction of the Bounty Hunters Guild, and is based more on the lack of trust shown between hunters now. He does not show much respect for those he refers to as 'rookies,' who are sometimes very skilled mercenaries that have just joined the Ghost Syndicate. After they have stayed on for a while and proven themselves in combat, his definition of family will extend to them as well.
Faction: Ghost Syndicate
Rank: Member of Phantom Team
Notable Members of Phantom Team: Angel: Female, Aerial Specialist Archer: Male, Marksman Bullseye: Male, Marksman Death: Male, Assassination Emperor: Male, Team Leader Hierophant: Female, Seduction Joker: Male, Deception Justice: Female, Law Negotiating Livewire: Male, Electronics Magician: Male, 'Magic,' (Force) Napalm: Male, Pyrotechnics Shadow: Male, Melee Combat Temperance: Female, Negotiating Tower: Male, Wild Card
Equipment: Jet Black Mandalorian armor made of Beskar with a helmet with an advanced HUD modified by the Ghost Syndicate. A Model AXM-50 "Blast and Smash" energy rifle, a Neural Inhibitor and Electronet, A black stun cloak worn on his right side, and a JT-12 jetpack. On his left hip he has a Dissuader KD-30 slugthrower pistol. On his wrists he has a ZX miniature flame projector, a DUR-24 wrist laser, and an MM9 rocket system. Lastly, though he is not very skilled with it, he has a curved hilt lightsaber with a black blade and he uses it in the first form of Shii-Cho. Depending on his current mission, he can also be found carrying other weapons specific to his objectives.
Ship: Ghost of Solitude, a freighter ship which has been repurposed and mounted with a large array of guns, heavy shielding, and living quarters for up to 300 crew. It has been disguised to resemble a normal freighter and has numerous fake holds, walls, traps, and other devious machinations befitting a Bounty Hunting vessel.
Background: In his early life, Ar'daleth lived a normal life for a Mandalorian youth, being taught by his father to hunt and be a warrior, and playing bolo-ball in his free time. His life continued this way until he came of age, at which time he began taking small taking on small bodyguard contracts with one of his brothers.
When one of his sisters was gravely injured in her own line of work, the family broke into separate paths, to best find ways to pay for medical treatment. Stumbling on the Ghost Syndicate, he joined up and quickly proved himself, sending most of his income to pay for his sisters medical treatment. When the Yuuzhan Vong invaded, he answered the call of Mandalore, and along with the rest of the Ghost Syndicate, spied then fought with the rest of the Mandalorians.
With the threat destroyed, he stayed on with the Ghost Syndicate, taking jobs for the Galactic Alliance and serving largely with his team as specialized bodyguard groups for senators and admirals worried about assassinations.
Info on Ghost Syndicate: The Ghost Syndicate is a mostly Mandalorian mercenary group which will serve as hit-men, bounty hunters, and bodyguards. They will take most jobs, using their highly skilled personnel, so long as the jobs do not go against the Bounty Hunters Creed or against Resol'nare.

Name: Jax Tolorna
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Age: 26
Force-Sensitive: Yes – A Jedi Padawan , who never quite got trained beyond the Padawan level after being separated from the other Jedi upon the occupation of the Jedi temple on Coruscant. Most of his abilities revolve around defence and healing, though his main ‘focus’ is battle meditation, which hasn’t been trained beyond him being able to boost or reduce the skills of 4-8 people around him.
Appearance: Wears plain grey slaves clothing, covering his entire body, making him look like every other slave, has short bright blond hair and pale green eyes and pale skin.
Personality: Jax is a young ‘man’ full of doubt and fear. He is cautious, and kind, caring for all life. He does not act on impulse and usually needs time to calculate all the options. He is intelligent, but likes to hide it, preferring to seem on a level equal with all life, though his interests are in the great mysteries of the universe, he will often let his doubt cloud his judgement. He doesn’t believe he is good enough for the role of a Jedi. Though to those that know him, his doubt can be erased if he is supported… This unfortunately leaves him vulnerable to manipulation however.
Faction: Former member of the Jedi Coalition
Rank: Padawan
Equipment: None, his lightsaber was lost, and any other Jedi equipment was confiscated on his capture.
Ship: None
Background: Born on Felucia some fourteen years after the battle of Yavin, Jax was the child of a couple hiding away from the rest of the universe. Jax was never told the reason why, not that he ever thought to ask. This isolationism did come at a price. Due to the nature of Felucia, in its relation to the Force, Jax’s force sensitivity was lost in the cloud. So he spent his childhood in the jungles of Felucia, harvesting mushrooms and other such plantlife for his parents. Felucia was a dangerous place, the other local immigrants often referred to it as the “flowery hell” of the universe. Over the years Jax would have many accidents, either caused by the natives or otherwise… though it never kept him down for long. The Jedi that eventually discovered him attributed it to the force, though Jax was resistant to the idea at first.
Eventually, Jax was discovered by the Jedi Knight Mestra Baptiste, a few years before the fall of Felucia at the hands of the invading force of the Yuuzhan Vong. Mestra, having foreseen a conquest (though the details eluded her), took Jax away from the danger and his parents and back to the Academy on Yavin IV, where he began using hone his skills as a Jedi. When he was around 9 years of age, Jax assisted in the defence of the Jedi Praxeum. His efforts were of little consequence however, due to his lack of any real skill at such a young age. Nevertheless, he defended valiantly in the face of danger.
The next few years were a time of great peril, for the galaxy, and for the Jedi. Jax was still in training when the Yuuzhan Vong invaded, spending most of his time held up in the Jedi Praxeum. That was until it was assaulted by the Peace Brigade. Though the Jedi attempted to defend their home, they were ultimately forced out, and retreated into the jungles, and the Praxeum was destroyed. It would be some time before Jax would have a proper home, but eventually the Shelter in the Maw became home to Jax and the other Jedi, where he would remain until the end of the war.
By the end of the war, Jax was now a Padawan, and assigned to Jedi Knight Mestra Baptiste, who had discovered him in the first place. It was noted the two had a personal connection, like son and mother, which seemed to sooth the boy, as he realised Felucia’s fate, and that of his parents, who had been finally registered as deceased. The two trained at the academy on Ossus, though once the temple on Coruscant had been completed, the two was moved there to continue Jax’s training.
When the temple on Coruscant was about to be invaded at the hands of the GAG, Jax was one of the Padawans set to be evacuated with Mestra Baptiste. However, with all the confusion in the haste of retreat, Jax absent mindedly left his lightsaber in the temple itself. Not only that, he would get separated from the rest of the Jedi and forced to flee into the streets of Coruscant. Eventually he would make his way off planet by stowing aboard a civilian craft. He didn’t know where the trader was going, but as he realised he had lost his lightsaber, the shame began to seep into him. So much so he began to mistrust himself. In his solitude and shame, Jax began to believe that he was not deserving of the role of a Jedi. Soon enough Jax firmly believe it and thought about turning his back on the Jedi order.
As this doubt seeped in, pirates attacked the ship he was aboard. With its engines disabled, the ship was at the pirate’s hands, and the crew was taken as slaves. Jax, although he eluded the pirates for some time, also fell into the hands of the Pirates, who instantaneously recognised Jax for what he was.
Initially the pirates were set on ransoming Jax to the Galactic Alliance, however upon interrogation, Jax revealed his ability for battle meditation. The pirates, knowing the young Jedi was defenceless, took him aboard their stolen CR90 Corvette (the Grey Blaze), where they segregated him away from the other hostages. There they kept him for months, as they initiated their plan. They would force Jax to use his battle meditation, in return for the lives and the well-being of the other slaves aboard the vessel. Since then Jax has been under the form of the pirates, using his battle meditation whenever they assault another vessel , biding his time until he and the other slaves can escape.

Name: Huggle "Pyod"
Gender Male
Race: Zabrak
Age: 24
Force-Sensitive: No connection to the force, as are most Zabrak
Appearance: Huggle is a tall and lean Zabrak standing at about 1.9 meters (6 foot 2 inches) he has very little body fat and has been able to keep his weight in check through his vigorous martial arts training, Huggle has retained a pure white skin tone he also has black pupils, and red iris'.
Facial Features: To understand the positioning of Huggle's horns, pciture the top his head as a compass rose where north is the point closest to his face and south is at the back of his head, each horn is at a major point on the compass, North, North East, East, South East, South, South West, West, North West, (ate horns total) The horns located at North and south hare of half length compared to East and West because they have been cut down so that they appear flat the horns at east and west naturally come to a point and are considerably longer than those at North East, North West, South East, and South West.
Huggle has very distinct Facial tattoos unlike most other Zabrak's while most of have (what would appear to be) random lines and patterns on their face, Huggle instead has common warrior phrases in Zabraki tattooed to his face this, this calligraphy occupies almost every inch of his head and is a dark red similar to the skin tone of some Zabrak though it is very contrast to Huggle's pure white skin.
Personality: Huggle feels very strongly about being independent, and will go to drastic lengths to remain in this equilibrium, Huggle is ever confident, and has the strongest beliefs in his abilities, his major flaw is arrogance and over-confidence, towards his physical prowess.
Occupation Mariner
Faction: N/A
Rank: N/A
Equipment: Vibrorapier, an S-5 heavy blaster pistol, Dark black robes
Ship: A BTL-S8 K-wing assault starfighter "The circumvention of solitude" Huggle owns a Pilot droid who...well pilots the ship named UMU, which is a OOM pilot battle droid
Background: Born on the planet Iridonia, Huggle never new his birth parents and as a child he bounced around from orphanage to orphanage, it was the Director of Huggles original orphanage who gave him the name, although people on Iridonia would often question the boy and a question that popped up often was his last name in time he began telling people that his last name was Pyod rather than explain that he was an Orphan.
When he was a teen his horns began to grow in and while many Zabrack had somewhat rabdom placing of horns Huggle had a very symmetrical arrangement, it was during these teenage years that he began learning Zabrakian martial arts, from a mentor that took him under his wing, named Kadrlf Zur.
Huggle's martial art instructor had quickly become easily one of the most influential figureheads in his life (not that there were many lining up) and Huggle's rite of passage ceremony was rapidly approaching and it was his Kadrlf Zur who gave him the facial tattoos but the selected ink was quite peculiar he had chose calligraphy of common martial art/ warrior phrases in Zabraki.
During his adulthood Huggle found little to occupy his time he still new little about what he wanted to do with his life and he began smuggling he would transport illegal goods interstellar-ley using a G9 Rigger freighter, it wasn't until later that he began the life of a thief, it was after a day of smuggling goods he found his self in an old hanger he was in a rush to get out and his Freighter was in desperate need of repair He tried as best he could to fly off while the ship was in this less than desirable state, and yet he managed to escape from the local authorities and hid out on a nearby moon for a few days.
Huggle only continued to have more problems with his ship and the smuggling runs weren't bringing in enough money so he decided to take a loan from a notorious loan-shark, he went to a hanger where he often got repairs for his ship, but in the hanger he noticed something that he hadn't seen there before, it was a BTL-S8 K-wing assault starfighter he fell in love with the ship and decided to spend his credits on the new ship rather than the repairs for his old freighter, Huggle quickly realized the ship was far more complicated than his freighter and decided to buy a pilot droid along with it which he named UMU he paid for this droid using money from a previous smuggling run, he made off with this ship, but quickly realized he wasn't going to make enough money from smuggling to pay off his debt because the cargo capacity of his new ship was far to small, his solution? To run off with the ship as far away from the loan shark as he could after this incident has kick started a lust for thieving in Huggle.
It is very likely that the lone shark has sent people after Huggle to claim his bounty.

Name: Valentin Serav
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Age: Thirty-six standard galactic years
Force-Sensitive: Nope
Appearance: Val is a fairly clean-cut man, light of skin but dark of hair and eye. He stands a little under six feet, weighs around a hundred and eighty pounds. He's in passable shape, not particularly fit but clearly relatively athletic. He wears his hair relatively long, often swept laterally or backwards. There's a small scar below his left ear beneath which a subcutaneous comlink implant is hidden, and a few other minor scars across Val's body - mostly the result of minor scrapes or cuts.
Val's clothing is something similar to what you might expect a pirate to wear. He wears a long-sleeved shirt underneath some scavenged plastoid armor - chestplate, boots, and thigh protection - in relatively good condition, beneath a relatively light traveling cloak. A pair of gauntlets are never far from Val, either; the various attachments and cortosis fiberweave - enough of the material to withstand a brief lightsaber strike - pretty much ensure that.
Personality: Val treats his job much like he would a business. It's very distinct from his personal life, and he tries his best to keep personal views and issues from affecting his performance - tries to respect that his work gets violent, but is generally for the greater good. Val usually does a pretty good job of keeping that detachment, but it's hard sometimes. He's a bit of an altruist, beyond that; always trying to help those who need it, always trying not to hurt anyone he doesn't have to. He probably would have made a good Jedi in another life.
Faction: Galactic Alliance Intelligence - temporarily on loan to Galactic Alliance Guard for assistance in deep-cover antipiracy operations
Rank: Lieutenant
Equipment: Val actually carries quite a few weapons, concealed and rarely-used though many are. His primary weapon is a DE-10 blaster pistol, displayed prominently on his right hip. He also makes a point of carrying one holdout blaster in his left boot, a pair of small vibroblades at the small of his back, and wouldn't be caught dead without his gauntlets - both of which house a cut-down, miniaturized, experimental wrist blaster with enough charge for one shot each. Val is also familiar with most other common types of weapons, and has been known to wield such weapons as full-sized vibroswords, blaster carbines, and sniper rifles when his mission calls for it.
Other commonalities on his person are a datapad, a liquid-cable launcher, and two comlinks. One is his GA Intelligence-issue subcutaneous comlink; the other, a more public model which attaches to the underside of either bracer and connects to a wireless earpiece.
Ship: N/A
Background: Born to a Coruscanti father and a Naboo mother, Val spent much of his childhood and early years on the latter planet. He lived the life of the affluent, never really wanting for anything and never really . He applied to be an analyst with Galactic Alliance Intelligence right out of college, stayed there through the remainder of the Yuuzhan Vong War. Val didn't earn a promotion to field duty until a few years later, primarily antipiracy operations - much the same as he's been doing for the last few years. He's spent the last few months infiltrating a group of pirates aboard a Corellian Corvette, the Grey Blaze, under the name of Fileran Zykov.
[Crap history, but it'll do]

[In advance, based off a character I used to roleplay as, bit of childhood and nostalgic history in there ] Name: Agrodobalatzakagolko or Lan'og-Urn Gender: Male. Race: Shi'ido. Age: Force-Sensitive: Yes. Appearance: While Agrodobalat's body is interchangeable, he more-often-than-not takes the form of a 9"3' (approx. 2.5m) green-skinned human with dreadlocks. Personality: Before meeting the Jensaarai and adopting the chieftain title within his Shi'ido clan, he was bubbly and intuitive. Now, he is much more serious while being a largely volatile machine of destruction. However, don't mistake his teachings for bad ones; he has trained many Jedi in the past who have even surpassed him. Faction: The Jedi Order, The Arkavenn-era Jensaarai (unknown) Rank: Saarai-kaar, Jedi Shadow Equipment: - Light claws (a mentor's invention)
- Single dueling saber (yellow)
- Darth Maelstrom's Qixoni battle hilt
- Yuuhzan Vong Razorbugs
- Bryar pistol
- Grappling hook
- Detpacks
- Commlink/tacpad
- Waterbreather
- Cortosis armour & overlaying trench coat (Jedi colours)
Ship: Sinkhole Station (stationary) Background: *i'll do this in point-form for brevity* - Born upon Lao-mon to the Zakagolko lineage.
- Along with siblings Birdaleskazakagolko (his sister, a hot-headed and curious girl) and Huranzakagolko (his brother, an equally-knowledgeable yet more psychopathic fighter), the three are sent on a pilgrimage due to their and intellect and respect of Shi'ido customs.
- After returning from their pilgrimage, they are sent off planet by their chieftains to expand the Zakagolko's influence.
- Board a shuttle and leave for F'tral, the ocean planet.
- There, find recruitment forms for the F'tral Institute of Xenobiology and Scientific Practice, and enter the workforce.
- The three quickly escalate to professors and headmasters of the Institute due to their brain power.
- After 43 years at the institute, a still young (by Shi'ido standards) Birdaleskazakagolko is approached by a robed man bearing a red insignia on his forehead. Tempted by the offering of power and told she has a great potential for the Force, she is manipulated into slaughtering countless citizens of F'tral and is not seen for a long period of time.
- Agrodobalat and Huran investigate, before being apprehended by Jedi officials also investigating the issue. A midichlorian test reveals both of the Shi'ido have a massive Force presence and they are recruited as Jedi.
- Huran is taken as a Padawan by an unnamed Twi'lek Jedi Knight, while Agrodobalat joins the temple healers upon Ossus.
- Many years later, and wishing to progress to a Padawan and potentially a Knight, Agrodobalat goes under his brother's tutelage.
- They spend several years together, fighting alongside many other able-bodied Jedi, and warring against many other foes, even seeing the creation of another Death Star (a short-lived one, might I add) before Agrodobalat passes his trials and becomes a Jedi Sentinel alongside his brother.
- Arkavenn Rasquez joins the Jedi Order, quickly becoming a Jedi Sentinel.
- The Meletios family also joins the ranks, becoming friendly rivals with the two Zakagolko brothers.
- Arkavenn and the Meletios family suddenly disappear, beckoning the council to send Agrodobalat and Huran to find them.
- Tracked to Korriban, where they are attacked by a "Jensaarai hunter" named Tyree Draykon.
- They quickly defeat him, but he promises his return, but they fail to find their comrades.
- Some years later, Huran's old master as well as Arkavenn and the Meletios family show up to the temple and kidnap Huran.
- Agrodobalat, enraged, flees the temple as the Dark Side begins to consume him and he returns to Lao-mon. After telling of his many victories and time as a peace keeper, the chieftains decide to elevate him to their rank, saving him from becoming an embodiment of evil.
- He becomes a neutral Force-Wielder, destined to become a great defender of the peace in the galaxy.
- He manages to meet Tyree Draykon again, forming what was known as the Twilight Face Masks with the promise of power but also prosperity.
- Soon is found by the Sith as a major enemy, and the faction is wiped out. Tyree disappears, and Agrodobalat decides to make a return to the Jedi.
- Negotiations with the council turn out pleasant, and he is reinstated as a Jedi Learner.
- Many, MANY years pass, and suddenly Huran shows up out of nowhere.
- Agrodobalat is forcefully taken, and delivered to Katarn, a then-Miralukan controlled empire named Rasquez.
- Arkavenn, as well as his massive lineage of relatives, the Meletios family, and Huran, have formed a new generation of Jensaarai.
- With new ideals formed, Agrodobalat and the group go to the Jedi Order and form an alliance.
- He soon elevates to the Keeper of the Truth and leads the Jensaarai into an age of prosperity.
- His affiliation with the Jedi is top-secret, but they often come to the order to find new apprentices.
[Sorry if it is confusing, he also never finds his (Sith Lord) sister.]

Name: Lucas Vega
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Age: 15
Force-Sensitive: Yes, unknown.
Appearance: 180cm, 60kg, brown/blonde hair, cyan eyes, pale skin, athletic body. When fighting he dons a pair of cyan boxers. When in the streets, he has a pair of charcoal jeans and a cyan dress shirt.
Personality: Lucas doesn't talk to people much, he's very lonely.
Faction: N/A
Equipment: Handwraps and footwraps for fighting. Commlink. Credit Chip (100,000).
Background: Lucas was born on Coruscant, the neon planet. His life was normal, until he was thirteen, when one day, his parents never came home. He found a few days later, they had been killed by a bounty hunter looking for a young, force-aligned man. Unknowing to Lucas, it was him. He spent a few months thinking about what to do, until he walked down the street, towards the cantina. Before he could enter the door, a drug-addicted man grabbed Lucas and tried to rape him in an alleyway. Knowing the dangers of the streets, he kept a knife on him, which proved useful against his attacker. The last words the spice-fuelled man heard were Lucas saying, "Isn't this some fucked-up foreplay?" Before the cold steel punctured the man's heart. Seeing Lucas with a bloodstained knife, a man by the name of Marcellus Wallace approached Lucas, seeing as the boy knew how to defend himself and attack at the same time. Marcellus gave Lucas a job offer, if Lucas participated in fights once he reached fifteen, he'd have unlimited access to the training area, and he would be paid. When Lucas began his fights, he showed to be a very, very quick, clean and effective fighter. Now, with Lucas' new apartment and small fortune, he wonders what he'll do for the rest of his life. He knew that his adoptive father, Marcellus, would be ok with any dreams he persued.

Name: Dench 'ial
Gender: Male
Race: Jawa
Age: 30
Force-Sensitive: Yes force sensitive, Dench lacks in mind tricks, and sensing other force users, but makes up for it in his use of pushing, pulling, choking, and picking up objects, as well as one of his more recently learned abilities: Force lightning.
Appearance: Dench is as typical as most Jawa in few ways but is mostly similar in his appearence he for example wears typical jawa robes, and has bright yellow glowing eyes which perforate the shadows of his hood, his clothing has little adaptions from the ordinary Jawa, but the differences that do exist are as follows: Rather than packs on his sash he has two light sabers, and a mini-translator droid hanging from it.
Personality: Dench is cunning, spry duelist, and enjoys adventure almost as much as scavenging for spare parts, but his fatal flaw is that he is prone to being gullible, and tends to change his mind fairly quickly.
Faction: Former member of the Jedi order
Rank: previously a master Jedi
Equipment: For being of a scavenger species Dench surprisingly doesn't carry much gear on him, he keeps his two light sabers strapped to his sash, as well as a mini-translator droid which also fits on his sash. One of the light sabers was self manufactured by Dench with help from his dark-Jedi master, which used a Krayt dragon crystal that emits a black blade, the saber is fairly plain in appearance, it was smaller, and thinner than most handles (for better use by a jawa) the metal used had a purple hue, and used a curved hilt design which ended in a sharp metal point, the other light saber's previous owner was Jax Tolorna(read history for more details), which emitted a green colored blade.
Ship: YT-1300
Background: Originally Dench 'ial was born of the Nkik jawa tribe, he was raised by his clan-mates from a young age to scavenge for parts, and how to assemble, and fix machinery.
Unfortunately the young Jawa didn't remain in his cozy home (rusty sand crawler) for very long he was picked up by a Jedi visiting the planet of Tatooine, because of the Jawa's midichlorian count, he was accepted by the jedi council, and allowed to train with the younglings, his training went well, and he was found to have an adeptness with the Force.
The young Jedi Blossomed into a young-Jedi-man, and accordingly he was promoted to the rank of master at the age of 30 he had become highly trained in a combination of Shien (Form 5) and Ataru (form 4) as well as many aspects of the force.
It wasn't long after Dench's promotion that the Jedi temple came under attack by the GA he was forced to evacuate but on his way out he grabbed a lightsaber he found laying in one of the halls of the temple, he figured it best to keep it with him, in the event he could return it to it's rightful owner. The Jedi's had become exiled, and Dench was no acceptation he fled to a planet in the outer-rim, where by chance he met a Dark-sider well trained in the arts of the force, originally Dench denied the teachings of the Dark-sider but in time was swayed with the promise of power, he figured he may be able to save the Jedi from the GA with his help. The two began training in two different fields: The Dark-sider taught him the basics of Juyo (form 7) as well as several dark side of the force techniques such as force lightning, which Dench became well adept to.
In two months time the dark-sider had taught Dench the basics of what he knew, and using his new found strength, Dench struck his master down. Dench felt the need to change the hue of his green lightsaber to something that matched his other one better, something a bit more evil looking. He decided to go to The Arkanian home-world, to purchase (or steal) diamonds, he was rooting around in one of the mines where he encountered a young Arkanian known as Kairon Saneszh, he found the kid using basic force pushes while in the mine. He confronted the young force user with the promise of personal freedom, and power he convinced the Kairon to join him, and almost completely forgot about procuring a diamond for his new saber.
After staying on the planet to teach the apprentice the basics of the force, Dench decided to get his new apprentice a light saber with which to duel, so he and his new companion set off to coruscant, in order to break into the Jedi temple to procure a new light saber.

Name: Kairon Saneszh
Gender: Male
Race: Arkanian
Age: Twenty-two years
Force-Sensitive: Yes - but he's only recently begun undergoing training in the Force. His talents are limited primarily to rudimentary usage of telekinesis, the occasional spark of Force lightning, and a bit of danger sense 'hey-if-I-don't-move-I'm-going-to-get-shot-in-the-chest' type of stuff.
Appearance: Kairon's pretty sizable for a young Arkanian male, both tall and in good shape. Spending your late adolescence and early adulthood mining diamonds on your homeworld will do that to you. He wears white hair quite long, simply because he hasn't had a chance to get it cut - long, and often pulled back into a ponytail.
His clothing is pretty run-of-the-mill for your average dark Jedi's apprentice. He favors subdued colors, mostly blacks and grays, and almost always wears a skintight bodysuit beneath a pair of nerfhide boots, dark leggings, a similarly colored shirt, and either a nerfhide jacket or a hooded traveling cloak.
Personality: Kairon's a bit contradictory at times. He's not afraid of working hard or of doing what he needs to do--a life in the mines taught him that much--but killing is still an almost unforgivable act to him, despite being a dark Jedi's apprentice. He doesn't talk too terribly much, but tends to very much mean what he says and says exactly what's on his mind.
Faction: Does Dench 'ial count? You'd think I'd have a good enough grasp on my own template to be able to answer questions like this confidently.
Rank: Apprentice to Dench 'ial
Equipment: Kairon doesn't carry much. A blaster pistol, a vibroblade, a few credcoins, and a set of Arkanian blinders, to help protect his eyes from more infrared-heavy worlds than his native Arkania, are all he really carries regularly.
Ship: Nope
Background: Well, um, Kairon used to be a diamond miner on his homeworld of Arkania. Then he met this crazy Jawa with some basically unpronounceable name he just calls Dench, who basically promised him freedom and power in return for following him for a little while. So he agreed, and he's been traveling the galaxy for the month or so since that happened. He really lived a pretty boring life right up until then.

The issue of timelines has finally been raised, so let's figure a few things out.
Given the state of things in the thread, it's perfectly feasible that there's a little bit of a discrepancy between what's happening here versus what actually happens. So let's just say screw the real stuff and nail stuff down in a manner that works with what we've got so far. Don't worry about keeping with canon. My headcanon (and what I've spent the last 20 minutes thinking up) went something like below, but if anyone thinks we need to make any changes or anything just say something and we'll examine it.
---
Call it late 40, early 41 ABY.
We've got the Galactic Alliance. Basically occupies the same area of space as the Republic and Empire from the movies (which is to say, most of it). They're big, now they're jerks because of Jacen Solo, and they're currently allied with the Imperial Remnant and the Hapan Consortium. We basically have to say that the GA and Remnant are allied because Ghost's Imperial ship is in the Coruscant system currently.
The GA has not yet split into the Jacen-controlled Galactic Alliance and the Cha Niathal-controlled Alliance-in-exile. That's just confusing and happens right near the end, which is to say not quite yet.
The Galactic Alliance is currently at odds with the Confederation. Corellia, basically anybody who's got a bone to pick with the GA, people like that. They're basically the Separatists from the earlier movies, but with different planets.
Then we've got the Jedi. The Jedi have recently (within the last few weeks) abandoned their Temple on Coruscant in response to some dick moves the Galactic Alliance pulled. So they've declared themselves aligned with the Confederation because screw those other guys who kicked them out of their headquarters.
In response to some dick moves by the GA involving Boba Fett not being able to return to Mandalore ever, the united Mandalorians under him are pretty solidly against the GA as well. Immortal, whether or not you want your group whose name escapes me currently to be aligned with the other Mandalorians is up to you. Mandos have long been a fractious culture and rarely agree on anything, so it wouldn't be unheard of for some to be working with the GA in some capacity or whatever.
TL;DR. Galactic Alliance + Imperial Remnant + Hapan Consortium vs Confederation + Jedi + [most of the] Mandalorians. Very roughly speaking. There are also exceptions everywhere (particularly as far as the Mandalorians and rogue Jedi go), so rules of engagement tend to be fire if fired upon because nobody's really sure who's on what side until the blaster bolts start flying.
