GAME OF THRONES RPTroubled times have come to the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros. In the Royal City of Kings Landing, Robert Baratheon has died and left his sadistic yet incompetent son Joffrey to assume the Iron Throne. However Joffrey is no true heir, but a product of an incestuous union between Cersei and Jaime “Kingslayer” of the now dangerously influential House of Lannister. Ned Stark -Warden of the North and Hand of the King - knew of this union, and was betrayed by the double-crossing Master of Coin Peter “Littlefinger” Baelish”. The newly crowned Joffrey had Ned beheaded on jumped-up charges of treason, much to the horror of Sansa Stark, Ned’s eldest daughter and Joffrey’s intended bride. Meanwhile, the War of the Five Kings rages up north, as Robb Stark takes up his father’s banner against the new King’s grandfather, Tywin Lannister. Tywin fights a war on two fronts, also having to contend with the late King Robert’s Brothers – Stannis and Renly Baratheon. The Lannisters fall back, and Tywin send his dwarf son Tyrion “the imp” back to Kings Landing to serve as Hand of the King to Joffrey. On the distant continent of Essos, Daenerys of House Targaeryn seeks refuge. Her once noble house was wiped out by Robert Baratheon in his usurping of the throne. She hides. She waits… Finally, on the border of the Seven Kingdoms, the men of the Night’s Watch guard the wall. Among them is Jon Snow, Ned Stark’s bastard son. He has recently taken the black (become a Nights Watchman) and now must contend with the lawless freefolk (“wildings”). But worse things lurk behind the wall than men. Tales tell of the dead walking in the snow, with eyes like ice, who do the bidding of terrible creatures from legends past. Beings of white and cold. The White Walkers… For all other info, check dis. awoiaf.westeros.org/And remember! When you play a Game of Thrones, you win or you die...

Name: Gender: (male/female/eunuch) House: (is you character in the employ of or sworn fielty to any of the Houses of Westeros? Note: no relations to canons please. The last thing we need is a bunch of Lannister cousins rushing around). Alleigance: (Does your character belong to any faction. The Night’s Watch? The King’s Guard?) Age: (Keep it realistic. Child soldiers are not an altogether uncommon sight in mercenary circles near the Wall but let’s not turn this into Lord Of The Flies). Religion: (Whom does your character worship? Even if they are not practising, they will have been raised in some faith. Which one? The old gods? The seven? The drowned God? awoiaf.westeros.org/index.php/Religion ) Birthplace (from whence does your character hail? Keep it real. I’m not against characters from Bravos, Qarth or even as far as Yi Ti. But tell us how they got all the way to Westeros. In detail.) Hair colour: Hair style: Facial Hair: Eye colour: Height: (Tyrion fans can be dwarves if they wish, but keep in mind the prejudice and physical limitations. Also if you’re lowborn, you’ll need to explain why you weren’t left in the woods to die as a newborn. Yeah. Westeros is harsh.) Distinguishing Featuers: (any scars, deformations, things that make your character stand out) Build: Armour/Clothing: Weaponry: (be realistic, if you’re a lowborn sellsword, you’re not going to have a finely crafted Excalibur in your back pocket. Nor are you going to be a walking arsenal and have like six battleaxes and a longsword. Also, if you are a wealthy man and own a sword, you probably have given it a name). Equipment: (Anything your character may be carrying. A purse, gold, a gourd of wine, etc) Horse: (Does your character ride a horse? What is his or her name? What colour is he/she?) Skills: (Any abilities you character has mastered. A note about magic: whilst magic exists, it’s very rare. Any magical abilities will be treated with fear, and most likely hostility. awoiaf.westeros.org/index.php/Magic). Personality: History:

Name: House Cutler Coat of Arms: A black boar crossing a river Words: “We Smell Victory”. Seat: Hog's End Region: Stony Shore Current Lord: Baedon Cutler Heir: Haryldan Cutler Title: Lord of High Hog Lord of Stony Shore Overlord: House Greyjoy Ancestral Weapon: “Tusk” (a longsword made from Valyrian Steel) House Cutler was one one of the Great Houses of Westeros. Members tend to me large, heavyset and hairy. It's seat, Hog's End, is a towering stronghold that looks over Stony Shore, built by the First Men. Four three hundred years House Cutler kept full coffers by bleeding dry the local fishing villagers and providing refuge for the Iron Born. The Current Lord, Baelon Cutler is a good hearted but weak individual. He has oaned money to lords who never bothered to repay him and his vassals openly ignored his orders. Basically, everything he has ever done has been to get his son Haryldan out of trouble.

He liked fighting too much, and any games he was involved in always got rough.
His father got tired of constant complaints from other parent's of bloody noses and large bruises. He sent his son to Hog's End when he was sixteen, and joined the regiments of Men-at-arms held by House Cutler. He carried the sigil of the House with pride, and gained great respect from the other soldiers for his size and strength, and also his ability to survive the dozens of battles he was sent to, Be it fighting bandits, wildlings who snuck past the walls or a minor inter-house feud, Gregor always walked away from the battle. Part of his luck came from his deft skill with the huge axe he wielded, scavenged from one of his first battlefields.
Eventually he was promoted to Sergeant and started to lead his own small group of men. He was always the first and last out of the battle, which turned his men into grizzled and incredibly brave fighters. When the house went into ruin, he stayed ever loyal, and served will gladly serve the house till the very end

Name: Coron of Lys Gender: Male House: N/A Allegiance: Priests of R'hllor Age: 25 Religion: R'hllor, the Lord of Light Birthplace: The City of Lys Hair color: Light Brown Hair style: Pushed back, does not reach his shoulders. Facial Hair: N/A Eye colour: Blue Height: 5'8 Distinguishing Featuers: A burn scar on the back of his right hand, Build: Average Armour/Clothing: Red Robes with piecemeal mail armoring over vital areas. Weaponry: A blade which he sets ablaze Equipment: Purse of gold Horse: N/A He walks Skills: - Elemental control, he can engulf his weapon in flames and is able to wield fire to his advantage. Magic is a sword without a hilt however, and nothing is ever certain. -Conversion, he has a knack for converting the most unlikeliest of people to the True Faith -Swordsmanship, R'hllor helps those who help themselves. Because of this, Coron was raised wielding a blade, and is competent with it. Personality: Training as a Red Priest has left him with a devotion to the God of Light, R'hllor. He is devout, and prays to the Lord of Light often. He is kind, but critical of heretical beliefs, believing that R'hllor is the lands only hope. His criticism gets out of hands at times, and he appreciates a good burning. History: Coron of Lys was born in the Free-City State of Lys to a prostitute and was taken as a Slave at a young age. He was bought by the Red Priests, becoming a Slave of R'hllor, and raised to become one of their number. Coron was trained in blade, magic, and most importantly; the religious beliefs of the Red Priests. He was a quick learner, devouring texts placed infront of him within days, and became a devout follower of R'hllor, as was expected of him as a slave of R'hllor. He was eventually made a Red Priest himself, adept in the use of elemental control over fire, though he was not perfect as the scar on his hand proves. Coron was sent to the lands of Westeros to convert the ignorant people of the land to follow R'hllor, for the lord of light needs armies to fight for him when the darkness falls over the land. He took a boat from the City of Lys, and partook in the treacherous journey across the sea to the lands of Westeros. This was around seven years ago, when the man was still a boy, barely out of his boyhood days. The weather was poor on the way to Westeros, and the ship rocked back and forth violently during the journey, causing Coron to be sea sick often. It is for this reason that he dislikes travelling by boat. The Captain was a devout follower of R'hllor as well, and the new Red Priest spent most of his free time on the boat talking to the good man. The two formed a friendship that was not to last, as the ship one day was destroyed by means unknown, though Coron assumes to this day it was a rock. Coron washed up on the shores of Westeros, with few of his possessions left on his person. He wandered the length of the beach, shouting the names of crew members he had known, and the Captains name as well. It was to no avail, and Coron of Lys soon discovered himself the sole survivor of the wreck. He camped on the forest, using the flames of his magic to keep himself warm throughout the night by feeding some ruined planks of the ship to the fire. The next day, he left to begin his journey in Westeros, determining that the Lord of Light had kept him alive for a specific purpose and that it was not his time to die yet. So, now in the present, there Coron of Lys wanders, in the lands of Westeros. He occasionally performs his arts for coin and a place to stay, if he is low on either, and reaches until his throat runs dry. Then, he drinks water and preaches some more. Coron's travels have taken him now to the Stony Shore, where he looks for other converts to follow the Lord of Lights banner into a new era of prosperity, for the Night is dark and full of terrors.

Skills: Combat mastery with a mace and shield combination, the art of first aid (and general healing duties), and is very good at business.
Personality: Magnus is a smart guy. He’s good at planning, organisation and has a very good head for business. He can be kind, but a lot of the time, he can come off as a bit arrogant, serious and generally bad tempered. He has a softer side, but that doesn’t get out that often, as the situations he usually finds himself in nearly always call for a serious nature. He will help people out, especially if there’s something in it for him. He values family above almost all, aiming to help them out whenever he can.
History: Born to silver smiths, Magnus Halvar grew up in White Harbour. His family made money off selling smaller silver items and using the excess silver, to build their wealth up, and were slowly buying their nobility. Magnus, who had no real artistic skill, was left with very little work to do, besides tending to the books, and generally organising the business, which he seemed to have an actual talent for. He’d organised the business far better than his brothers or his fathers.
To the outside it became apparent that the Halvars were rising quicker than before, due to Magnus’ organisational skills and his head for business, and so people started working to sabotage their efforts, even going as far as to attack Magnus in the street. Angered, rivals of the Halvar threatened Magnus’s life, and would eventually try to force him out of his home. Around this time, a cleric (Viktor Elis) arrived in White Harbour. There the cleric would find a cornered Magnus. The rivals were beating him to a bloody pulp and had nearly killed him, when the cleric stepped in.
After tending to Magnus’ wounds, the pair realise that Magnus was doomed, if he was to remain in White Harbour and so Viktor hired Magnus as an assistant. After a few years, Magnus became a fully-fledged Cleric.
The Clerics, acted primarily as guardians of healers and septons in war time. This wasn’t their only responsibility, as they were often tasked with assisting the healers, and as such every Cleric has healing skills (in whichever form they come). They were sent to the harshest battles, though mostly kept in the camps to work as sentries or to tend to the wounds of soldiers. They didn’t often see actual battle on the frontlines, unless it was absolutely necessary. They worked hand-in-hand with actual healers. Though armed men of religion had been outlawed by Maegor the Cruel, religion was still a big part of Cleric culture. They swore loyalties to the Faith of the Seven in secret, and kept their worship secretive too, although most people now know of their religious loyalties. A lot of Clerics were made of former septons, or people who had broken their vows whilst in training to be a septon. Over the years they have been partially seen as guardians of the dead, who read soldiers last rites on his deathbed. In reality they were little more than bodyguards, quite like the Poor Fellows of old, although the order of the Clerics generally served armies. When the order was set up, they were meant to serve as protectors and assistants to healers and septons only. However over the years, Cleric divisions began to be corrupted by the various houses, and eventually the Clerics were splintered, with individual loyalties to the great houses. Currently the Clerics of King’s Landing are aligned to House Baratheon officially, but with the influx of Lannister power in the capital, many Clerics had been converted to their allegiance to the Lannisters, or had been replaced by Clerics from Lannisport. Viktor, had been one of the few Clerics loyal to the Baratheons, realised that the Cleric loyalties had begun to waiver, had gone north to seek Clerics, who would transfer into the Baratheon’s service, due to their loyalties to the Starks. However he found that none of them would, and with the rest of the Baratheon Clerics aligned to the Lannister family. Viktor turned to Magnus, having failed in this task, and began plotting with him to create a new order of clerics, one that would focus on uniting the clerics under one banner. Magnus began planning to use the clerics to gain power for his family, but also to aid the clerics in their fight for unity. And as such, began travelling to find more clerics, leaving Viktor in White Harbour to organise the order, and train new recruits.
