Hey guys, some people have shown interest in a Lord of the Rings freeform. So far, we've planned for it to be set at the closing of the Second Age, where Sauron is at the height of his power, we're bending some canon here, lads.
The Dwarven Kingdom of Moria is the capital of Durin's Folk, and lead the Dwarves against Mordor. The Elvish Kingdom of Rivendell is the capital of the Elves, their leader is Elrond. The Human Kingdom of Rohan is the disputed capital of Man, the most powerful faction resides there.
The one thing they all have in common? Mordor, their hate for Mordor, their will for Mordor to be destroyed.
Sauron leads the Dark Forces of Mordor, his power resides in his One Ring, the One Ring. There is a battle in the midst. The Battle for Middle Earth.

Character Sheet
Name: Thaddock
Race: Dwarf
Age: 160
Birthplace: Blue Mountains
Profession: Wandering Bard, warrior
Loyalty: Durin's Folk
Appearance: Stocky, about 4"10", long black beard, long clack hair reach middle of back
Personality: Cheerful, light-hearted, very wise bud hides it behind jolliness
History: Thaddock grew up in the the mountains, working as a miner until he was about 70. He was incredibly bored of his normal life, and although he loved gold and jewels just as much as the next dwarf, he found digging them out of the ground dull. He had always held a fondness for music, and had learnt to play the lute at a very young age. That and his habit for wearing very garish clothes led him to, when he left the mountains to travel the lands of men, elf and hobbit, to gain the appearance of a wandering bard.
Thaddock took this into his stride. He purchased bright red boots, and had a hat made that looked just like the one worn b the famous Gandalf.
He ambled form place to place, singing and playing as he went. He became a known face in places such as Rivendel and the Shire. Although he enjoyed spending time with the people of Rohan, he found men from Gondor to be morose and dull, so he generally never spent much time in their great city.
This was a ruse in fact. For although Thaddock loved music, fighting had always been his favourite pastime. He had hunted bears and wolves on the mountain-side, and whenever even a hint of goblin was found in the mines, it was Thaddock who was first to investigate.
When in battle he fought with a great deal of skill, wielding a dwarven made steel falchion and a more traditional axe.

Name: The Deathless (formally Alderond Ethrule)
Race: Nazgul
Age: 1141
Birthplace: Khand
Profession: Servant of Sauron, Ringwraith
Loyalty: Dark Forces of Mordor
Appearance: Black Cloak, Full Silver body armour, Silver plate gauntlets, Silver plate greaves.
Weapons: Duel-wielded Silver swords, Morgul blade, Witchcraft
Personality: Silent, Brooding, Loyal to Sauron.
History: Alderond was the Variag King of Khand, a small land south-east of Morder. While most of its people were nomadic, a few were tired of constantly wandering, so decided to settle down and begin creating small settlements. Alderond, the current leader of one particular group, took up the title of king at the age of thirty six. Eager to expand 'his empire', Alderond started spreading the idea of a kingdom through the rest of the land. Interested, some people came. His idea of an empire was finally becoming a reality.
Five years later, Alderond now at the age of forty one, the few small settlements had grown to form a capital city and a couple of surrounding towns. Still wanting to expand, Alderond happily accepted when a mysterious figure offered him a magical ring with the promise of power. Soon after Alderond succumbed to the ring, and with no-one left trying to push the idea of a kingdom, the people eventually went back to their old nomadic ways. The city went on to become a place of trade, where travellers would come and go in search of goods.
Alderson went on to become a Nazgul, one of the nine Dark Servants of Sauron. He participated in many battles over the course of history, identifiable from the others by two things. One of which was his duel blades sword technique, the only vague connection left to his old self, and the fact that he was usually close to Sauron himself at any possible moment. Especially in battle.
The final battle would soon be upon them, he could sense it. The mortal kingdoms were scared and angry, it was difficult to tell who would make the first move. All he knew was it will be soon. Until then, he was to complete each and every task given to him. There were preparations to be made, armies to assemble. There was a battle coming, and he had a feeling it would be a pivotal moment in history. This much was certain.

Name; The Executioner (Previously Belethor of the Red Sands) Race: Human- Haradrim Age: 1152 Birthplace: Harad Profession: Nazgul Loyalty: Sauron and the Forces of Evil Appearance: www.games-workshop.com/MEDIA_CustomProductCatalog/m480298a_99061466041_TheBetrayer_445x319.jpgWeapons: Two-handed axe, Morgul blade, Haradrim bow w/ poisoned arrows, black magics Personality: Quiet, cruel, bloodthirsty History: The subject of royal blood had been an issue in the lands of Harad ever since the Numenoriens came and built the great city of Umbar. The Numenoriens had claimed themselves ruler of Harad, and had killed any true Haradrim king that dared to defy them. After they had left, several men spoke up, claiming themselves to be of royal blood. One of these men was Belethor. Belethor was a large man, thick across the shoulder and chest, with tree-trunk arms. Without his size he would have never been able to weild the huge axe, stole from a Gondor armoury during a raid. He travelled across Harad, searching out those that also named themselves Kings. He declared that Harad should only have one king, and that should be him. Whenever he came across a Cheiftain that believed himself to have royal blood, he would challenge the man to a duel. His skill in single combat was famous, so the opponent was always refuse. Belethor would wage war with the mans tribe, and would always win. His tactics of brutal cavalry charges during arrow volleys were risky, but they were successful. Whenever he defeated a Cheiftain, he would chop off the mans head in front of his men, and Belethor would absorb the surviving soldiers. As his tribe grew larger, a strange mysterious man entered his camp, and offered him a ring of unbelievable power. He immediately accepted it, hungry for more strength so he could take Gondor like no Harad King had done before. What it actually did was poison his mind. After only a few weeks of wearing it, he suddenly disappeared, leaving his tribe in disarray. He appeared in Mordor, heading his new masters call. He led armies and killed thousands at Saurons command, never pausing to qeustion or doubt. Belethor can sense that a great battle is nearing. He knows that it will be a momentous time in history, and the victor of this battle will be the victor of the war.
