Distinguishing Features:

Profession:
Scavenger/Merchant
Skills:
- A knack for spinning convincing lies, bluffs, and capable deceiving others in general. (Speech)

- Quick and quiet on her feet, knows to constantly be aware of her surroundings to ensure she has a means of escape from any sort of danger. (Sneak)

- Trading know-how (how to bargain, set reasonable prices and demand them in return, plus stay in the know when it comes to supply and demand.)
Other Abilities:
- Knows how to handle knives for hunting purposes (skinning, putting animals out of their misery, sharpening sticks).
Apparel:
Casey's only set of clothes are a pair of worn down dark blue jeans with several stains of mud and blood along with a few small tears on the sides of the legs; small, light brown hiking boots covered in dried mud with the ends of her pants' legs tucked in; a dirty white short sleeved t-shirt that's a little too big for her; a navy blue collared dress shirt, usually unbuttoned with rolled up sleeves; a small black and white beaded bracelet on her right wrist; a shark tooth necklace; a maroon and white colored backpack that's usually bulging with her possessions stuffed inside, including a light brown U.S. Air Force bomber jacket in surprisingly good condition, and a set of black motorcycle gloves with missing or burnt patches on the palm area.
Weaponry:
- An old .357 caliber revolver, reliable and easy to load, her best friend.
- A Bowie knife, large and clumsy in her hands, always kept sheathed unless it's to be used for some sort of menial task. That it might be used on a person is highly improbable.
- A steel claw hammer, often used for everyday tasks. Should the need arise, it's easily adopted as a melee weapon, being small enough to be swung accurately.
Other Equipment:
- A pocket compass, for when she needs to know the right direction.
- A hard cover notebook, a rare commodity used as a personal journal and planner.
Personality:
Like all children of the post-apocalypse, Casey is an individual who was forced to harden herself in order to endure and survive in an unforgiving world. Brash, confrontational and stubborn, she's the type of person who'll stare you down in order to see if you'll be a threat to her safety. That's her number one priority: safety, she's always focused on staying out of dangerous situations unless there's a decent reward at stake, and she's always prioritizing her safety over anyone else's. It's nothing personal of course, and she'll still feel guilty over her tendency to use people for her own benefit. She'll lie, cheat, steal, and ultimately double-cross others at the most opportune moment, usually without hesitation. Her deceitful nature is why she never truly lets herself get close to anyone unless it's beneficial to her interests, and the constant guilt, loneliness and self-loathing can make her bitterly sarcastic, self-deprecating side rear its head in stark contrast to her begrudgingly helpful facade.
Ironically, Casey doesn't seem to get too angry if someone else double-crosses her, owing to the fact that she'll think she deserves it. This, among other things, is an example of her humbleness. While she's no strange to hustling others by downplaying her skills, she legitimately tries to avoid bragging in order to never become overconfident due to the dangers associated with cockiness.
Rather than become cocky, Casey always seems to be on edge, and her "real" interactions with people have her being very closed off or reserved. She sticks to first names, avoids personal questions, and never puts herself in a vulnerable position for -- you guessed it -- safety reasons. If that barrier of mistrust is ever overcome, she would find herself feeling less tense around the individual, maybe even opening up a little, but never completely. There's always going to be a part of her that's completely conditioned to think about herself first. That's just the way she survives.
