no picture yet [/img] Character Name: Vira'Nesh Nickname(s): none Race:Human Sex:Male Age:40 Birthplace: Vault 213 Height: 6'8" Weight: 200 Eye Color: Blue Hair Color: Blonde Hair Style: Short straight Facial Hair: none Skin Color: White Build: Muscular Distinguishing Features: Scar on left hand which penetrates through both sides from a stabbing Profession: Bodyguard Skills: Firearms & survival Training: First aidOther Abilities: Charismatic Apparel:Combat armor Weaponry: Minigun Other Equipment: Medical supplies Affiliation: None Religious Belief: None Sexual Preference: Straight Relationship Status: Single Personality: Kind-hearted and always helping, but a fierce fighter when provoked Since leaving the vault at the age of 20 he quickly decided to help as many people as he could asking very little in return, prior to leaving the vault he was the armory guard which gave him plenty of time to get to know most common weapons as well as maintenance. He was raised by his parents to help in any situation as his dad was a former military member. He found a calling outside the vault in providing bodyguard work for mainly caravans at first, occasionally helping the occasional doctor on their travels across the wasteland seeing how they have a benevolent calling. When not employed to travel the wasteland normally works at bars as a bodyguard/ bouncer. Though he may be polite and kind, he has an intimidating body build which makes him appear much more fierce than he is. He carries a minigun because he follows the old adage "Talk softly and carry a big stick". On occasion has been hired to protect potential mayoral candidates as well as actual mayors for short periods of time. He suffered a stab wound at the age of 28 while intervening in a bar fight, while it punctured his hand completely he managed to avoid death through his own minor medical tricks he had picked up from travelling medics. His employers normally provide him with room and board in lieu of actual payment. in the 20 years since leaving the vault his skin is still very light, almost albino so he rarely is seen out of his armor. He has had a few issues, including turning on a few of the people who have hired him, when he was about 23 and guarding a man named Dill Doyle he was ordered to kill a man dehydrated in the desert, after trying to reason with him on account of the well prepared rations, Dill pulled his gun on the defenseless man, prompting Vira'nesh to turn his gun on him, after a few seconds of whirring and a few shots later, Dill lay on the ground in a pool of his own blood, missing a large portion of his skull. Vira'nesh then took it upon himself to help the dehydrated man and took him to the nearest town for medical help. He later found the mans name to be Taylor Henny, he survived but by the time he was able to move again, Vira'Nesh had long since left. While he works as a bouncer he finds it against his on morals to drink, as he has seen how it can destroy lives and families. He fell in love with a barmaid named Myra Franks while working in the town of Nemark, while she may have been a ghoul he saw through the skin to the beauty beneath. He was never able to tell her how he felt, as duty called him elsewhere, he's not sure if she's still even alive. He is currently working as a bodyguard for a travelling merchant near the Capitol wastes region. In most cases will help if simply asked as long as he has enough means to make it back alive, as he realizes he's no good dead. Spent the most time in the D.C. wasteland but has been nearly all over the East coast he tends not to stay in one place for too long but normally has someone in most larger towns who he knows.

Well hello there Cinta, welcome to the site, don't think I've had a chance to meet you yet, so hey, I'm Zel. Anywho, let's get your character approved.
Which Vault is he from? Unfortunately, I'm gonna have to ask you to remove the power armour and references to him getting such stuff. The Brotherhood are very reluctant to hand out power armour, since it's a rarity in the wasteland and usually they need as much power armour as possible. The player character power armours are unique cases, and even then they had to do something significant to get it. To get power armour, you either have to be part of the BoS, or steal it, if you steal it you're gonna have to get away from the BoS which is in no small feat, as well as find someone willing to train you in power armour usage, who hopefully wont try and steal it from you. A good substitute would be combat armour, which although it isn't powered, it's a hell of a lot more common, and obtainable.
Also is there any chance you could but some more info into your history, perhaps some details of the type of people he's worked for as a bodyguard

Seeing as I don't know many canon characters it's hard to put down specific names for bodyguard so I leave it open to interpretation, unless someone wishes to give me a few names I can use.

Greetings once again, Cinta.
Vira'Nesh seems to be a pretty good, straight forward guy, and a good choice for a tank on missions. More background information would likely complete this character.
You don't have to use canon characters as references in your history. Actually, we'd prefer it if you didn't. Feel free to use any names. John Biggs and the Biggs Gang. Grant Harold, bounty hunter. The Hurtz Company. The Regulators. You have the freedom here to interpret your characters history and background any way you want, granted it does not conflict with established canon characters and ideas.
Vira'Nesh is a bodyguard and gun for hire, with good karma. Has he ever taken a job he regretted? Possibly an employer who wished him to do things against his morale code? Or has he ever turned on his employers? Has he ever done something below his morale code? Was Vira'Nesh ever in love? Why does he enjoy helping people? What happened to make him feel this way? As a bouncer, did he ever fall victim to drinking? Does he have an friends or steady affiliates? Is he currently looking for work? Does he have any weaknesses, addictions, or vices? Just ideas and suggestions, per request. : )
My second, and minor point, is his travels. It says Vira'Nesh "has been nearly all over the United States...". Travel across the continent is pretty rare. It was very difficult for a group as powerful as the Brotherhood, and it took a very long time. Not to mention a large amount of soldiers, weapons, supplies, and equipment to ensure they reached their destination. And with the Legion, Raiders, the mutant wildlife, Deadly Radiation Areas, Super Mutants, Bandits, Booby-trapped Ruins, Storms in the Dust Bowl, Cannibals, ect... It's pretty unlikely a single man traveled the entire country and nearly all the states without being killed, becoming ghoulified, or starving/dehydrating. Could we perhaps say he has traveled most of the Capital Wasteland, or even a great area of the East Coast?

Sorry, Cinta. I was waiting to see if Zel was going to respond first.
I like the character. His history looks much better.
You might want to change his final location to the Capital Wastes instead of North Carolina for several reasons. The greater North-Eastern part of the state is the Banks ( A Member-created Fallout Region ), and that RP is closed. ( It's currently full. ) The other North Carolina RP is a horror thread that I don't believe has been launched yet. So unless you want him to start in the uncharted wilds of Western North Carolina, it might be easier to start him in the Capital Waste and then move him wherever you want around the East Coast.
Change or clarify his current region of activity, and I approve.
( After a second approval from a moderator, you can begin with Vira'Nesh. Good luck in the Wastes! )
