Personality: Adaptive. That is the best way to describe our detective here. He will change in the blink of an eye if the situation needs to be, that's the thing he's learned over the years, the thing that the academy can't teach you, adapt to your situation.

Apparel: Nine times out of ten you'll see Brian in a suit with a long overcoat, often reaching his knees or lower. He'd wear a hat, but it seems to bother his head. Of course as a detective, he does have his badge on his person, but not open to show, it is usually in his inner coat pockets.

History: Young Brian Wells' father was a detective, and Brian longed to be life his father, a great man. When Brian was about 7, 1914, his father was shipped off for the first world war, and never returned. He and his mother had to push on, though, which was tough for a half-orphaned child, and a widow. In honor of his father's memory, Brian joined the Police Academy as soon as possible, and did his very best to give pride to his father.

He graduated, and worked on quite a few cases, after quite a big one, he was promoted to detective. His tactic straight from the start was to adapt, adapt to every circumstance, adapt to every enemy, every situation.

Name: Anthony "Tony" Moronne

Age and DOB: 41 (August 11, 1901)

Occupation: Owner, Operator, and MC of the L'Aquila Club in Manhattan, a front for the local Mafia.

Personality: A natural born Ham, Tony always needs to be the center of attention. He is a cynical, sarcastic man who always has a smart ass comment up his sleeve. He is jealous and has an admittedly short fuse. The power given to him by his position in the mafia has made him a bit power hungry.

Apparel: Tony cares about being well dressed. As a show off, he buys the most expensive suits he can find and has several tailor made items in his closet. He is always dressed to the nines, and, as common for a man at the time, wears a sport coat and trousers in more casual situations. Because of his insistence on being well dressed, he can be condescending about it around others.

Equipment: Nickel plated Colt Detective Special with pearl grips.

History: Anthony is the son of poor immigrant parents. He has always ashamed of his poor upbringing and felt he was meant for more. His family survived mostly on the donations given by the local mafia, and by the time Tony was 13, he was acting as a delivery boy for them. He continued to rise up the ranks, until, during the prohibition, he took control of a abandoned club. With the mafia's help, he renovated it completely and converted it into a speakeasy. Through his influence, he was able to book entertainment acts such as Cab Calloway, Fats Waller, Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, Benny Goodman, Duke Ellington, and Al Jolson to name a few. Because of this, the club exploded in popularity, and after the prohibition ended, it still turned a hefty profit for the Mafia based on it's reputation, and today, it is a hot spot for famous musicians.

Age and DOB: 60 (8th september 1882)

Gender: Male

Occupation: Arms Dealer and Consigliere

Personality: Philip is ruthless,cold and calculating. He is not inherently evil and does have boundaries albeit lax boundaries. He has very little empathy and strives to serve only himself. He is quite good at keeping a level head but this means there is little indication of when he is going to snap.

Apparel: Reputation is important to Philip and as such he is often clad in the best suits money can buy and always accompanied by an overcoat in winter. He prefers three piece suits and can often be found wearing his grandfather's pocket watch and a red carnation in his lapel.

Equipment/Weapons: An Enfield Number 2 pistol on hand at all times and a Thompson in his car

History: Philip was born to two middle class English migrants he lived a quiet detached childhood and his life remained uneventful until he reached university. He was studying law but he made some unsavoury friends who introduced him to their acquaintances. He began doing odd jobs for the local family in his youth. Upon graduating he quickly realised he would be far more satisfied in the mafia and so he began working his way up, His law degree helped make him a valuable member and today he is consigularie to one of the middle families of New York.
