I'm quite partial to a character with a false voice.
However, I have a couple of questions to ask.
1) Why didn't he just take the remains of that glass out from around his eye when he was freed?
2) State if it affects his vision or not because it's not really clear what it is or what it does haha.
3) Where did he learn his repair and crafting skills? That'd be good to add towards the end.
