Was just wondering if anyone would be interested in this. By extension, this would also be a Fable comics RP, but no so much. Not sure when the story would be placed but it'd either be after, during, or before the events of The Wolf Among us, and wouldn't really go into any comic book stuff.
If you're not familiar with either of these things, here's a quick rundown. Basically, fairy tale and folklore characters have escaped their magical homelands and now reside in New York (Mostly), trying to make everything work, which doesn't go amazingly due to quite a lot of things. If this gets enough interest I'll explain further, to those that don't know much about the game/comics.
As a quick note, this would be very non-canon, so anything could happen differently or be changed. You'd also be encouraged to make up your own characters, the actual fairy-tale/folklore thing can be pretty brief and could even be a slightly edited version of a real one. That said, you could control an existing character if you wanted, and we'd just assume that they're slightly different depending on how you wish to portray them.
Thanks.
Quick Edit: This may or may not include spoilers for the game, depending on when we decide to base it. Be aware.

In relation to what, Meta? I just woke up so forgive me if it's painfully obvious.

: P As in, for characters. Fairy tale and Folklore characters. Are there any races that cant be used, or basically just looking for more of an outline on how the RP will work.

Go for whatever you damn well please. Just don't be OP. It's usually pretty self balancing though, as in if you're a super mega death dragon you'll need a lot of expensive magic shit to look human when you need too. If you want I can explain everything properly, if you're not familiar with the games/comics. As in the location, why you actually have to look human, etc.

Useful links: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Fables_characters#Bo_Peepfables.wikia.com/wiki/The_Wolf_Among_UsHere are a list of Fables not currently used in canon which could potentially be adopted: Sasquatch The Easter Bunny Loch Ness Monster Itsy Bitsy Spider Old Mother Hubbard The Abominable Snowman Leprechauns El Chupabacabra (Mexican Goat-Chewer) Ugly Sisters (Cinderella) (Although obvs as this is non canon you could adopt any existing Fables character you wanted I guess, as Sabs says)

Also, to add to what Harry just posted, you could also simply be a fairy tale *race*. As in, you don't have to be the Big Bad Wolf to be a werewolf/wolf like thing, and you don't have to be anything in particular to be a troll, etc.
Quick edit to that: Some other things apply, such as some children's stories. The Wizard of Oz, for example. The game actually has a character from that. If you have an idea that you think would fit, just ask me about it.

I should point out that how strong and durable you are as a fable is directly linked to how many people believe in you (i.e. how popular you are). For example, Bigby "The Big Bad" Wolf and Goldilocks would be extremely difficult to kill, whereas a random troll or vampire could be killed as easily as anybody else. Mexican Gods or figures from Egyptian myths would have died out long ago because there is nobody left to believe in them. www.youtube.com/watch?v=7a_St9DTuO0

So something like El Chupacabra would be moderately diffcult to kill whereas Bigfoot would be really hard to kill, right?
