One thing Litra loves to do, aside from stealing which she considers "an art", is to paint. Painting is more of a hobby that she does to pass the time, knowing that in another life, she'd be a painter.
Personally, Litra chooses her Phoenix persona when speaking with most people, saying only what needs to be said and only asking questions when she simply doesn't understand. She is well aware of her boundaries and choices, often avoiding law and civilians with a facade of courage. To people who get close to Phoenix, however, they learn who Litra is- the misunderstood woman with determination to prove the "their is no honour among thieves" saying wrong. Beyond that, she is a painter who paints her close friends, a loyal friend and a secret lover of romance fiction. Despite this, she chose the exciting life of the professional thief and admires those who follow her in their organization.

History:
Litra was born on Earth in 2608. From a young age, she was educated in school through public education, but had a large passion for art, just like her great grandmother who made paintings of the Human-Covenant War. Her parents, however, disapproved of this, thus she took a more serious interest in business studies and religious education. Slowly her parents ran out of money. Feeling heavily saddened by her parents lack of money, at the age of 14 in 2622, began trying to find work through legal means, even trying to sell her beloved paintings to do so. However, it wasn't enough. It was only in 2623 at the age of 15 that Litra found profitable work- illegally. She was paid to steal items from, at first, shops- then slowly, over time, personal possessions from people. While her parents were very wary of how Litra was getting her money, they accepted the money and paid for their bills, getting back on track.
Sadly, later in the same year, Litra was betrayed by the organization that was being pursued by the law by detectives, in response to this to get the law off them, they lead them to Litra through third parties, getting her into prison.
Due to her age, she'd get a lessened sentence- 6 years. Her parents, despite now stable financially, were devastated.
While Litra was in prison, she learnt quite a bit about the nature of criminals and how to avoid the more roughest of them- alongside the prison guards. The judge who convicted her told her there was no honour among thieves- the saying that stuck in Litra's mind forever through prison. She was determined to prove him wrong. When she left prison in 2629 (at the age of 21), she swore that she would get revenge upon the organization that betrayed her slowly over time while raising her own organization that would never betray itself. After making relations with her parents once more, she instantly began her work by cutting off all contact with them- to the great sadness of herself, especially after finding her great grandmother had died while she was in prison.
Between 2629 - 2632, Litra, now going by the name "Phoenix" took the criminal underground of thieves (which wasn't a very large force due to being on the capital of law in the Human Homeworld) by surprise. She didn't rally much support for her cause, but enough to be known and powerful in it's own sense that it had it's own code of conduct. Constantly avoiding law and doing petty jobs, Phoenix rivaled the old organization that betrayed her before taking it by force- finding the men who ran it and murdered them.
After the whole ordeal, Phoenix moved to Reach in 2633, leaving the operations on Earth to her new loyal colleagues.
While on Reach, Litra took a little break while still handling the small, but growing nameless organization she was attempting to raise, as she did on Earth. She had a fascination of the Moa birds, finding them both beautiful and quite delicious in burgers. In 2634, after growing in power a little, a famed thief named "Mad Dog" and his little band of thieves caught on to Phoenix's location and confronted her on her operations. Instead of fighting, "Mad Dog", Madog O'Brian, offered to join her if they could steal a UNSC supply ship together on Liberty, an outer planet, in order to fund their big project.
Needless to say, they did so- sold the supplies- and used the money to combine forces and founded The Clandestine in 2635.
Between 2635 and present day (2650), Litra (Phoenix) and Madog (Mad Dog) have ran The Clandestine, slowly building it up as a professional thievery organization. In 2645, they were told of an old smuggler location in Neutral Space, an old abandoned UNSC meteor outpost since the Human-Covenant war. Phoenix now uses this location as her home, but also leads The Clandestine out of it with Madog as her second-hand while trying to stay undiscovered by the law itself.
