No New Posts Argonia

Argonia, previously known as The Black Marsh, is the homeland of the Argonians and the sentient Hist trees. The province is filled with winding waterways and impenetrable swamps. So inhospitable is this province and its native fauna that there are very few non-Argonian settlements.

No New Posts Anequina & Pallitine

Home of the feline race of the Khajiit, Elsweyr was divided into the two client kingdoms of the Aldmeri Dominion; Anequina, rulers over the inhospitable badlands of the north, and Pallitine who control the south of the province, a vast land of tropical rainforests and moonsugar plantations.

No New Posts Hammerfell

Hammerfell is a rugged land of deserts and arid grasslands, home to the Redguards. It is here you can find the Alik'r desert, filled with ruins of old civilizations long past, like the Dwemer who gave the province its name. Its blazing heat, ferocious sandstorms and lack of water make it nearly impossible to survive in the desert. A number of smaller islands also fall under the sway of Hammerfell, including Stros M'kai, Cespar, Herne and the Chain archipelago.

The small Imperially-recognised province of Nova Orsinium is located within the Craglorn region between Hammerfell and Skyrim. No New Posts High Rock

High Rock is a varied land of woods, fertile grasslands and windswept plateaus. Home to the Direnni Elves and the Bretons, who made vast riches trading along High Rock's Illiac Bay, the province is split into six kingdoms, loosely bound by the Imperial banner: Wayrest, Daggerfall-Camlorn, Evermore, Shornhelm-Northpoint, Farrun and Jehenna. A number of minor princedoms also exist, exerting independence from the six kingdoms, including the island Princedom of Betony and the Direnni Island of Belfiera.

No New Posts Morrowind

The once mighty home of the proud Dunmer, Morrowind is a shadow of its former self. The 'Red Year', the eruption of the super volcano on the island of Vvardenfell, left the majority of the mainland covered in ash and in disarray. Pockets of Dunmeri civilisation hold out in the province, eking an existence out of the aftermath of their society's collapse.

No New Posts Skyrim

Skyrim, the northern-most province of Tamriel, is the home of the hardy Nords. Skyrim boasts a diverse geography but the most common, and memorable, features is the icy chill to the air and the winter snows that move south from the glacial north and the Sea of Ghosts. Less urbanised than the other provinces, Skyrim still boasts a significant population in its few major cities and ports. It is considered a 'barbaric backwater' by most Tamrielic standards.

No New Posts Alinor

The heartlands of the Aldmeri Dominion, the Islands of Alinor (previously named The Summerset Archipelago) are considered by some to be the cradle of civilization. Two main islands make up this province, both islands are beautiful to behold. Some claim magic is responsible for the peaceful pastures and still lagoons of the province. Others more rightly point out the Altmer's almost militaristic pursuit of perfectionism in all regards, including cultural and political unity.

No New Posts Valenwood

'Tamriel's Garden' was once the term used to describe the Bosmer's ancestral home, now part of the Aldmeri Dominion. This land of rivers and dense tropical forests is home to a vast menageries of races rarely found throughout the rest of Tamriel like the Centaur, Satyr, Minotaurs and intelligent apes known as Imga. Bosmer civilsation enforces that no Bosmer harm any of Valenwood's plantlife, thus all construction is made of stone or imported timber and some of their greatest cities are located atop great mile-high migratory trees. The region is also home to a number of Altmer cities, Khajiiti settlements and 'Wood Orc' strongholds.
