Goals: The Wake Family is a close-knit and proud family which focuses itself on business organization without failure. While holding only formality at it's power, the family gains immense amounts of gold to fund The Empire and day-to-day operations in Anvil and (their own) surrounding lands. It gains a lot of it's profit from the sale of Lovemoon Ale and it's management of Anvil's warehouse of the East Empire Shipping Company.
Beliefs: The family is close-knit and extremely caring of it's own- including non family workers. This can be seen as very Nordic of a mainly Imperial Family. Aside from that, the family follows the Eight Divines (the ninth is unspoken due to conflicts) mainly, aside from a few exceptions of individuals.
Allegiances: The Cyrodillic Empire, The East Empire Company, Anvil, The Fighters Guild (loosely).
Enemies: The Aldmeri Dominion, The Thalmor, The College of Whispers (generally dislike Necromancy).
Headquarters: Wake Manor, a lovely manor inside the Anvil walls.
Locations: The East Empire Company Warehouse in Anvil, Lovemoon Brewery and the Lovemoon Farms (Click here to see land location)
Weaponry: Various, depending on the person as some Wake Family are trained in combat, others are not. The Wake Family are not major on fighting in person, however- they often ask the Guard of Imperial Legion for aid (in dire need, of course).
Most of the time, however, words and gold are The Wake's weapons, plus their relationship with the working class.

Magic: Low-tier Restoration spells are traditionally taught within growing children within the family.
Armor and Uniform: None specific. High-Value clothing notably.
Transportation: Despite having a large share of the East Empire Company, the ships the Wake Family use in their operations are not for transportation usage. The Wake's, if travelling, will use horseback.
Other:
The Wake Family prides itself on septim-making in two major industries:
Lovemoon Farms: The Lovemoon Farms is a region of land dedicated to farming of both hops and fruit. This farm is more widely known for it's namesaken 'Lovemoon Ale', a tasteful ale with high alcohol amounts to back it. Both goods are sold commercially.
East Empire Trading Company Warehouse, Anvil: The East Empire Company's expansion to Anvil costed the company a great deal- luckily, Lord Quintus Wake aided the company financially and bought shares in the company to do so. While half the wages goes towards the company itself fairly, the Wake Family gets the other half of the profits in exchange for management of staff, imports, exports and logging.

Numbers: The family itself is small compared to the worker count. There are five active Wake family members in Anvil who make up for the 'faction' it is. It's worker count is most of Anvil and the farmers surrounding it.
Not a force on a major front, the Wake Family doesn't have a private army, but instead, prides itself on connections to much larger factional figures, such as the East Empire Company, the Empire and the Fighters Guild.

History:
Sit down, dear child.. this is going to be a long one! Yes, right over there, by the fire. Are ya cold? Would you like me to get ye some warm milk? No? Alright then, little one... Uncle Gromm hasn't told you 'ta tale of your own family, have I? Well... Don't worry, little Lana. Uncle Gromm's got ya covered. Here we go:
The Wake Family never officially started. For the longest time, the Wake family was an Imperial Family with a separate Nordic Cousins from as far back as the beginning of the Fourth Era, not that long before the Umbriel Crisis or the eruption of Red Mountain. It was only in the 4E 140's that the "first" famous Wake came into everyone's mind- the man who set the foundation of his family, Lord Giovanni Wake, father of future Lord Quintus Wake.
He wasn't a very rich man at birth, our Lord Giovanni, but he worked every bone of his body to his family. Legend has it he did so for his dying mother, to raise funding for her cure- but his mother died before he could fund such a project. On that day, the urban-legend goes, he swore that he would never let his son sons or his daughter daughters ever freeze, starve or go ill ever again.
He bought quite a bit of land from the Count at the time and named the farms he funded 'The Lovemoon Farms'. The lands the farms were meant to be built upon were fields covered in roses, which would encourage the later Lord Quintus to make the Wake Family sigil a rose. Giovanni wasn't a very noble man- he was actually quite old before his time and all he ever wanted was a nice drink to have by the fire. And so, he created Lovemoon Ale, a nice strong ale which he quickly gained happiness (and profit) from.
Sadly, Lord Giovanni Wake died in 4E 152 from food poisoning.
Lord Giovanni Wake
Lord Quintus Giovanni Wake was made Lord of the lands in which his father had bought. It is notable that he had high respects to his fathers wishes and a large heart. Quintus was often said to be giving the poor shelter in his home on colder nights, giving them warm food to all he could spare before offering them work at the Lovemoon Farms. This was how the farms developed to be more independent- and more profitable.
Quintus also was noticed by the Count, a friend of his father, for his actions and was made Steward to the Count of Anvil. Not only was Quintus influential in this sense, but he also aided the East Empire Trading Company a large expansion into a warehouse in Anvil, opening up trading routes to Hammerfell and beyond. This gave much work to the citizens of Anvil, who Quintus often bought rounds of drinks for at the local Inn.
One night, while buying everyone drinks in the Inn, Quintus caught the gaze of a beautiful woman, Aria, an Imperial who recently moved to Anvil from Skinrad looking for work on the coast. After quite a lot of talking and flirting, the two fell in love and married, making Aria the first Lady Wake, and mother to a growing family to further Lord Giovanni's legacy.
Lady Aria gave birth to Rexus Wake in 4E 155.
Lord Quintus Giovanni Wake
The Great War hit hard, and the Wake's saw it coming, but couldn't do anything. They were but a growing power at the time in 4£ 171. Anvil, as a port town, was besieged quite quickly by the Aldmeri Dominion early on in the war, leading the death of many of Anvil's people, destruction to much of the town, the cut of the East Empire Company's income and shipping for a time and damages to farms, let alone lack of income for a time. Rexus died during the siege on Anvil, much to the grief of Lord and Lady Wake, who bitterly swore eternal hatred to the Dominion and their cursed Thalmor.
News of the Sacking of the Imperial City in 4E 174 bought grief and anger to the loyal Imperial family who were helpless to do anything to aid The Empire... but all was not lost in the Great War to the Wake Family, who still went about their farming business warily and managed Anvil for a short time without an official Count or Countess. For a time- the Battle of the Red Ring in 4E 175 was enough to satisfy the Wake Family. Banning of religion of Talos didn't affect the family so much and simply continued their business, now that the East Empire Trading Company was allowed to operate again.
Anvil stood strong. As did the Wake's after the Great War, who harvested riches from the ashes from the war.
Lady Aria Wake
In 4E 178, Lady Aria gave birth to Lana Wake, future Lady Wake, and from them, the birth of Michelle, Marcus and Blodwen. Upon the birth of Blodwen, Lady Aria died from childbirth suddenly, which tore the family for a time with sadness. But the Wake Family gained a silver lining from this, as Gromm, a Nord cousin from Skyrim, came to Anvil in search for the Wake Family. He was welcomed with open arms and dubbed 'Uncle Wake', due to the aging Lord Quintus and Gromm sharing a lot of time working together. Gromm helped a lot around the Lovemoon Farms manually, which he still does today.
After political tensions rose, Lord Quintus Giovanni Wake died on 4E 202 from age, leaving the eldest daughter of 24, Lana Wake, in charge of the Wake Family and it's holdings.
Lady Lana "Luck" Wake
Loyal to the Empire and grown up in the devastation of the White-Gold Concordat with the war of the Aldmeri Dominion, Lady Lana Wake is part of the Court in Anvil, owner of the Lovemoon Farms (and owner of Lovemoon Ale by extent), head of the Wake Family and shareholder to the East Empire Trading Company operating out of Anvil. While her job seems tiresome to the rest of the family, Lana enjoys working, being able to communicate locally with the citizens of the Empire happily in a somewhat informal manner. Most view Lana as more academic than her two leading fathers, possibly due to her mothers love for books.
The modern Wake family is recognized for it's fortune and loyalty to the Empire, despite the members of the Wake Family having their own separate ways. While Lana is said to be the 'Head' of the family, Gromm is mainly in charge of the farms and workers on Lovemoon Farms, Michelle Wake (second oldest) took a large interest in The Fighters Guild and joined, Marcus (Brother Marcus) became a priest of Dibella at the Anvil Church and Blodwen is still in education.
With ties to septims, the Empire, the Court of Anvil and the East Empire Company: the Wake Family is, needless to say, quite influential in Western Cyrodiil.
Lana's childhood drawing of Uncle Gromm
Now ya see, my child? Oh aye, Uncle Gromm been a fair ways- me and ya father shared ale like nobodies business! Oh but ya see, little Lana, it don't matter how tall or old you be.... don't matter how rich or pamper ye be.... You'll always be little Lana to me. Hehehe.
