"While I appreciate your concern, I do not think they'll attack so close to Reach." Lucas changed his grip on his helmet, "However, Mister Linscaith, I do believe that you will prove to be a valuable asset. We're planning to storm the ONI base in under 36 hours. Take what we can and claim the base as our own." He smiled, the plan would provide a large profit to the UNSC,

Vulkan and Omid were locked in battle, and the black SPARTAN was winning. "I like you Omid. You'll be perfect for Winter." She removed her handicaps on the lock, allowing Omid to open it as he normally would.

Shipmaster Rilarn Lisciath felt offended by the lack of proper pronunciation by the human, he ignored it however, and agreed to the man's plan.
"Yes, that sounds ideal. My forces will join you in battle-"
He was interrupted by an explosion near the cargo bay. The Insurrectionists had already launched their attack.
"Debby, Mike, what the fuck was that?" Erin said into the nothingness.
"An explosion in the Cargo Bay. There are a great deal o-" At that point, the entire ship blacked out, and a few seconds later, the backup generator powered up, but it would take manual reactivation to turn on the A.Is.
Erin, Rilarn, his personal guard, the marines, and Lucas all headed back towards the Cargo Bay.
A few minutes after they arrived at the Cargo Bay, the entire ship was in chaos. Insurrectionists had boarded the ship, and attacked the people, they even managed to take a few marines and doctors as hostages. A video played of two SPARTANs entering the ship, one was massive, carrying a minigun, and the other, the smaller one, had a shotgun. They walked through the ship, shooting anyone that came across them. Erin transferred the video to Lucas.
"Shipmaster, Lucas, Marines. There are SPARTAN invaders on the ship, we are to detain them immediately. The UNSC is sending reinforcements."
They headed to cut off the SPARTANs.
John Keplar, Bravo Six, was getting armored up. As was the rest of Bravo Team. Keplar had sent a message to the last remaining member of Bravo Team that wasn't getting armored up, Rathorn.
"Rathorn, get your arse to Bravo Room!"
The two SPARTANs had decided to split up, Caldwell headed to round off the SPARTANs, Marines and Elites that had him zeroed, and Sinatra had headed to Bravo Room.
As Sinatra opened the door, he threw a frag grenade into the room, and it exploded, killing Bravo-3. Bravo-6, 5 and 4 returned fire, but he wasn't there. Instead, he waited till the fire wore down, and then walked in, firing his minigun around the room. Bravo 5 was cut down almost immediately, half of his face was torn off. Bravo 4 jumped onto the Spartan, which was a bad move, he ordered 6 to run, which he did. Bravo 5 however, he was knocked off, and pummeled by Sinatra, their bodies were almost unrecognisable once Sinatra was finished. Ignoring the other ODST, he headed to help Caldwell out after a distress call.
Caldwell had rounded a T section where he saw the group he was after. He activated his Camo, and waited in the corner. Once they walked past, he incapacited all of the Marines with shotgun fire, and then hid behind the wall. Erin Gannon was the first to round the corner, and was engaged in a fistfight with the man. Erin, upon being punched, ordered them not to shoot, lest they hit her. Caldwell took this as an opening, and punched the woman in the face, and knocked her unconscious. He then dragged her, ordering them not to follow, then Sinatra appeared behind him, and aimed the minigun at them, once they rounded a corner, Sinatra picked her up and they started evading them in the halls.

"Something more standard issue?" Lo began to chuckle at the soldiers inquiry, he leaned back in his chair, and sighed to himself
"You may not have noticed, but there really are no other SPARTAN medics, other than a select few of course, we were put together from existing spartan with previous medical training, so I was selected for the program"
A melancholy voice appeared from seemingly no where "Yes, and those medics were paired up with AI's with the memories of former surgeons...and unfortunately I was paired with Lo here"
Lo laughed to himself as he listened to his AI speak, he looked around the room for a minute and then began speak once more "Oh good 'ol Guillermo, he sure does like to joke arou-"
Lo was cut off partially threw his sentence by his depressed AI "Kill me"
Lo simply laughed over and over to himself at the AI's comment, he grabbed his helmet and began tossing it back and forth in his hands "Oh Guillermo" Lo said as he tried to regain his composure, he wiped a tear of laughter from his eye and then began to speak again "Sometimes you kill me Guillermo"
Guillermo scoffed and stated "I wish I could"
Lo continued to laugh for a few moments and after regaining his composure he turned back to Raz, in order to answer his initial question "Anyway friend, This scanner helmet is to help me find injured targets easier Lo underhanded the helmet to Raz so he could see for himself, as Lo continued to go on about his armor "My recon torso armor, and contoured arms and legs are for easy maneuverability in the field, and my Scout shoulder guards are for covert movement and anti-tracking Lo winked and pointed at Raz at the end of his spiel before speaking again "You definitely don't want your medic being tracked while he carries soldiers to safety"
Lo inhaled deeply at the end of his speech, he was about to open his mouth again when he heard an eruption coming from outside of the recreational center, he turned to face the door, and then looked back over to Raz with a questioning look on his face, he was left entirely speechless...finally.

Raz was left more speechless by the dynamic between Lo and his AI than anything, curious as it was to say the least. He looked down to examine Lo's helmet, interested primarily in where the visor and goggle-like assembly met. Raz figured it was impolite, however, to stick his hands inside or put the thing on; so he didn't. He was always good at looking with his eyes.
He looked up, tossed the helmet back. The sound of gunfire erupted outside suddenly as Raz opened his mouth to speak, and just as quickly he closed it and donned his helmet, locking the seals in place in a practiced movement. Either someone had lost it, gone to the armory, and was now shooting up the ship, or there were hostile boarders. He was more inclined to believe the latter; weapons weren't just issued willy-nilly like that.
But that was definitely the report of a UNSC-issue weapon, which meant that Insurrectionists were aboard.
A woman entered his field of view, then, one he didn't recognize immediately. She wasn't wearing a uniform; in fact, she looked almost like a civilian, an almost terrified one. And while Raz didn't recognize her by face, he immediately, intrinsically knew she was his mother. The thought crossed his mind that he was hallucinating - and deep down he knew he was, but he just knew he should listen to her regardless of how crazy the idea was.
But she didn't say anything. just gave Raz a warm smile, and he knew what he had to do. He glanced over to Lo briefly, expression mostly unreadable even if he hadn't been hiding it behind a helmet. "C'mon," he forced himself to say, mechanically. "We've got to get to the armory." What he didn't say was that he had to protect those Insurrectionists, save them from the beehive they'd just walked into.
And he had just the perfect idea to do that much.

One minute Bravo-3 had been watching the latest wargame with the other Marines, cheering on the team he was supporting, the next, there was an explosion from outside the hall. Rathorn turned pale, and his face turned into a blank slate as he stood up from the table and drew his sidearm, bringing it up next to his cheek, pointed at the ceiling. He ignored the others who were issuing statements like 'What the fuck?' and took up a position at the entrance to the Rec. Room, listening to the sound of gunfire. Ballistic weapons. Ballistic weapons meant Innies.
The other ODST's at his table had kept their side-arms on them as well, new additions to the ship more than likely, just like Rathorn. Hadn't had the time to properly hand in -all- their gear, weren't sure when they were getting sent elsewhere....the usual. These ODST's now stood up, making a nice little four man fire-team. Rathorn spoke in a low tone. "You all hear that? Ballistics. Either means the ships in a civil war, or there's Innies onboard...."
Rathorn trailed off as the Spartans mentioned going to the armory, and he nodded. "Hey, Spartans. We'll help you get to the armory. We've got our side arms on us. You've got your shields and advanced armor. We'll provide covering fire." He called over to them, peeking out the door after words.

Sinatra and Caldwell ran through the halls, and found the CO's room eventually, they put her in there, and sealed the door.
Bravo Six headed to the armory, his skill in evading the Insurrectionists was invaluable, and he saw Rathorn, along with a few SPARTANS. He cut him off.
"Whoa Nelly, It's just me, Bravo Six. Rathorn......our team.....gone. The big one with the minigun obliterated them."

Lo stood, and then ran outside of the rec room he began to run off in one direction but then immediately doubled back to the rec room, and look at raz, and then over to the ODST that had offered help, he paused for a moment then looked to his left and right, and finally began to speak.
"Where is the armory again?"
Lo unholstered his magnum, and held it straight up by his head with one hand, and with the other he pointed to his left.
Medics last! Lo stated.
in his gloomy manner Guillermo chimed in "Damn coward"
Lo ignored this statement and continued to smile, as typical of him, he motioned for Raz to toss him his helmet which he had left on the table at which he was previously sitting.

Raz shook his head, trying to clear his mind. Something wasn't right all of a sudden, mentally - he felt disoriented, wrong. The woman was still in his mind's eye, and he couldn't... he couldn't focus right, he couldn't think straight. His knees went weak, and it took a tremendous effort of will and locking the articulation points in his armor's leg joints to keep from collapsing. He shook his head again, and this time the motion almost upended him anyway.
Armory. They had to get to the armory. That was right. He looked up in time to notice Lo motion for his helmet, reached down and tossed it to him clumsily. "C'mon," he said. The words were like trying to speak around a mouthful of titanium - but even saying something as simple as that got his mind chugging again. He took a brief second to reorient himself: rec room, under attack, medic, armory.
"I'll take point." Raz was unarmed, but he was also something of a hand-to-hand combat specialist when he didn't have big guns handy. He was probably the best guy to have in front, realistically, short of a guy who knew his way around. The armory couldn't be far, though - and if he was lucky, one of the Marines or somebody who actually knew where they were heading would shout directions from the back.

Rathorn allowed the Spartan to take the lead, his service pistol held in both hands next to his head. "Go on then Spartan. We'll cover you. Kill anything that gets ahead of us, yeah? I'd prefer -not- to die today." There was some awkward chuckling, and one of the other ODST's chimed in. "Always a good day to die though."
Rathorn stepped out after the Spartan who had volunteered for point, checking each side of the hallway before calling behind to the other ODST's,"We're clear ladies and gents, let's get our asses into gear and down to the armory. I'd like to get my hand on a good ol' M5 right about now so we can kill some Seps, or Alien freaks. Whatever we're fighting."
Another soldier jogged into view. An ODST by the looks of it, running down the hallway. Almost immediately, Rathorn and his fellow ODST's had their side arms up. "Freez-!"
"Whoa Nelly, It's just me, Bravo Six. Rathorn......our team.....gone. The big one with the minigun obliterated them." Six had called over to him, and Rathorn nodded. He lowered his side arm, as did the others.
"Mind telling us what the fucks going on sir? You said there was someone with a minigun wiping our guys out? How'd the Seps get onboard without us detecting them?"

Sicarius found that his situation was not one he could win. Taking his chances, he fired off rounds, to distract his enemy, before dashing off into the darkness. "Now I'd best hope I can find some others." He muttered to himself.
As he sprinted through the ship, he made his way to where Bravo Six were grouped together, "Gentlemen." His armor was certainly scratched, and his visor was cracked. When, hell, if he made it to Reach, he'd need a new set of armor.
Awaiting a response from the team, Vulkan came back to Lucas' armor. "I was able to slow the two in the cargo bay, however, they're still strong." It seemed she had a tone of worry in her voice.

The Captain was out of breath, and trying to say three things at once, forming a ridiculous sentence, as you did when your mind was addled from shock of losing friends. He had to stay focused though. Focus.
"Spartan walked bravo team is gone, Gannon?"
He regained his composture, and properly said what he meant to say, his head spinning from losing his most trusted comrades, it was one thing to lose a fellow soldier, but this was slaughter, what could you expect from Insurrectionists.
"The SPARTAN walked into Bravo Room with a Minigun and ripped through almost all of us. I am the only survivor, we're fighting Insurrectionists. Where is Gannon?"
Bravo Six took the silence as M.I.A. He leaned against the wall, and took the pistol out from his holster and handed it to Rathorn, Keplar could handle himself in a fistfight, and would be better at the back, helping from anything coming from behind.
"Use it well. Stay at the front. I'll have the back."
Preston Caldwell and Nathan Sinatra walked through the hall of the Harsh Winter, Commander Gannon on Sinatra's shoulder, unconscious. The Innies were all being ordered to the command deck, and were withdrawing from their positions. Caldwell and Sinatra were already there.
Caldwell and Sinatra kept their prisoner chained to a seat, and had half of their force guard her. Sinatra picked his heavy minigun up, and walked with Caldwell and the rest of the Innies to the armory.
They intercepted the group of survivors just outside of the Armory, and as soon as Sinatra saw them, he opened fire. Caldwell activated his invisibility, and ran back, flanking them from the side. Caldwell, being great at hand-to-hand, engaged in fisticuffs with Bravo Six.
Caldwell beat Six with ease, tossing him about the halls. Now that the others didn't have to worry about shooting Six, he pulled his shotgun out, and fired upon them. Caldwell's shotgun, mixed with the other Innies, and Sinatra's minigun, a lot of their force died, but a technichian had gotten into the armory. escorting the few marines left, and the SPARTANS, and the ODSTs. Captain Keplar however, crawled away, into a vent.

Lo stayed close behind Raz to ensure he made it to the armory safely there was no point in dying before the real fight, and definitely not before being able to save some lives out on the battlefield the SPARTAN and ODST members were able to guide him while remaining in one piece until they met up with Rathorn...
The head on encounter with the soldier started with him shouting things about a man with a minigun wiping out scores of soldiers, Lo's expression turned to panic with the news, but it was hidden by his helmet.
Lo became more relieved as another group of soldiers showed up again. He figured the more guns the team had the better, but this relief was quickly replaced with more grief, when another soldier arrived with a minigun. For a second Lo pondered if the one with the minigun was the same from the stories of the injured soldiers, this belief was secured when the soldier began spraying bullets at the group Lo hopped behind a near-bye support beam and leaned around the edge firing three rounds at the bulky soldier.
