Naomi had to wait a short while before her future employer came into view, and what she saw took her completely by surprise. A short individual standing roughly 4 feet tall, cloaked in deep robes. She recognized the species that was within from the bright eyes and had to stifle a laugh at her situation. Her employer was a Jawa? That was too much! What did he want her to do? Kill another droid scrapper so he had all the business for himself? But she realized something was off about this Jawa. On closer inspection his robes seemed different, and he seemed to have an air of confidence about him. And then she felt 'it'. A familiarity. A feeling she had grown used to. The feeling her late mentor used to have, like a vortex of power and energy that swirled around the user. She had nearly no doubt in her mind. This Jawa was a Sith.
Naomi stood from her viewing position, knowing that someone like this would probably not take kindly to surprises. Once she pretty sure he had sensed her presence, she activated the grappling hook in her robotic arm, pulling herself from her elevated position to meet the creature face-to-torso. She gave a slight but respectful bow of her head. "Greetings."
((I'm afraid that's all i can post without Butter. Either get him to follow up with a post and we can have a mini conversation or get him on Chatango so we can talk. Thanks.))

It wasn't long after walking out of his ship that something caught Dench's, his eyes met with that of a mysterious stranger in the distance, and he knew they had made eye contact. He was unsure why his employee had sought out the higher ground, but it barely mattered.
Had Dench focused more on force detection capabilities he would have noticed something off about this individual, the disturbance wouldn't be great, but it would not be impossible to detect either.
As the figure rose to it's feet Dench readied himself, and awaited its approach. He was surprised to see that the figure leaper to the air guided by a tension wire to lead the person directly to his feet. Dench; upon first impression realized his employee was female, and then looked her up and down before saying anything, his eyes were glued specifically to the strangers arm. He laughed to himself thinking 'Wonderful I hired a cyborg.' One of the first things that would be immediately apparent about Dench were his faded eyes, certainly not typical of a Jawa, rather than their typical bright yellow his meld, and taken on a yellow-orange hue.
The stranger bowed, and spoke, Dench bore it little mind, rather he stuck his hand into the cape he wrapped around himself, trying not expose the contents underneath. After rustling around for a moment he pulled out a small box, and clutched it carefully in his hands. Dench cleared his throat, and then began rambling sporadically in Jawaese, screeching wildly in his native tongue. The small box in his hand picked up these patterns. With monotone inflection the box rang out: "Hello stranger, I am assuming you are the contact I was referred to, correct? If so my name is Dench 'ial, and if you are not, then I assume you're here to kill me, and I cannot let that happen."

The Jawa seemed to shrug off her greeting, instead reaching into his robes for something. Naomi was almost certain he wouldn't try to pull anything, but the action still caused her hand to retract into her cloak, hovering over the hilt of her Saber. It brought comfort to her, the thought that within her grasp was a tool of such dangerous power. The Jawa pulled out a small metal box, and she recognized it as a translator. The creature then began speaking. "Hello stranger, I am assuming you are the contact I was referred to, correct? If so my name is Dench 'ial, and if you are not, then I assume you're here to kill me, and I cannot let that happen." Naomi nodded, taking a long glance around the area to make sure no-one else was nearby. When satisfied, she took off her mask, a dull hiss in its wake. She then pulled down her hood, allowing her long braid to slide idly along her spine.
"Dench'ial, my name is Naomi. I am indeed the contact. Let us not waste time, who is it you want me to kill?" She said bluntly. Naomi nodded, letting out words of acknowledge periodically as Dench explained his plan. When he (she was almost sure it was a he) was done, she once more opened her mouth. "Understood. But before i ask any questions related to this job, i have a personal question. There is something off about you, a feeling. A very familiar one at that. So, do you know what this is?" She pulled her red Lightsaber from her cloak, holding it out in front of her and activating it, it's crimson blade glowing in the dim light of the moon. "Although i warn you, if you do not give the answer i am hoping for, it could be terrible for your health."

Though it would be hidden by the shroud of darkness covering his face, Dench grinned at Naomi's first comment 'Dench'ial, my name is Naomi. I am indeed the contact. Let us not waste time, who is it you want me to kill?' The directness in her words was something he valued, 'hopefully this contact would be up for a more intricate plan than a simple execution.' Dench thought to himself.
Dench rattled off violently in his Jawaese for a moment, and the translator picked it up, and began iterating. "Unfortunately it is not that simple assassin, we are looking for a New Republic diplomat on the Iliad, your job is to track the diplomat down. Find something to frame the Republic official, and then I need you to find one of the Iliad leaders, murder the higher-up, and then frame the diplomat with the item you collected, the higher status the Iliad leader you kill, the more you will be paid, and I can be very generous - Is this clear?"
The girl seemed to understand the plan, but then inquired about a strange sensation she felt, Dench new immediately what this meant, it meant that not only was his Force presence becoming more, and more obvious as he aged, it also meant that his contact likely had a trace amount of Force capabilities. His suspicions were confirmed when the individual pulled out a lightsaber, Dench frowned, and then looked back at the girl 'There is something off about you' he repeated the words in his head, he smirked, and then held his hand out. He concentrated, and pushed the lightsaber out of the assassins hand, the small sword bounced around on the surface of the rock behind her.
Dench spoke again in his native tongue, and his translator did its job "Does that answer your question, Naomi?" He waited for her response, but his attention was jerked elsewhere slowly after.
((OOC: Stel I will edit in Dench's response to your response to this action if it is significant, and I can change Dench's response after the fact if this confrontation leads to anything, don't let it influence Naomi's reaction, but I need Dench to respond to Sera's distress call - soon.))
Dench heard a muffled noise coming from his ships radio a few meters away, he signaled to Naomi to follow, he boarded his ship, and heard a jedi repeat a distress signal. 'This is Jedi Knight Sierra Altomar, broadcasting from planet XB-1395. We are under Imperial invasion, I repeat, the Empire is invading XB-1395 in force. I need IMMEDIATE fleet support, size of the Imperial fleet is not known at this time.'
Dench stared at Naomi, he spoke into his translator, and it retorted; "This could be our diplomat."

The moment that he picked up the incoming Imperial force, Torrin called off the invasion--it was a moment of shock really, he felt amazed that he had discovered them so close. He was normally pretty good at forecasting these things, but his attention had been drawn by these anomalies. Fortunately, the fleet hadn't gotten moving by the time he sent the signal, so disaster was avoided... however, this had him frustrated. These Imperials had disrupted his plans, and while he could have hypothetically engaged them, the cost of the battle would hardly have been worth the spoils--and it was at about that moment that the Imperial fleet actually arrived and he saw that at the van of the group was an honest-to-Force Victory II. Scratch that, the cost would have been drastically out of balance with the spoils--even if he could kill one of those, the fleet would be in ragged shape after such an event. No, this was a situation which was likely to get very bad. Best to just send the fleet back to base.
Rubbing his chin, he stared out at the situation through the cockpit, his pilots fidgeting nervously as he debated what to do. He loathed going back empty handed, but... at the same time landing on this planet would be a very different situation from getting off of it. If he brought his shuttle down on either the moon or the planet, he would either have to leave immediately or find some opportunity to leave. It was a shuttle, not a fighter.
Bah! He'd done riskier jobs that this, and the peculiarity of those Force signatures were too good to pass up. "Bring us in to land on the outskirts of the city... there," he would indicate a good location, "Bring us in as quiet as possible."
As he went, the pilot would stop and say to him, "Intercepting transmission from the planet sir." At which point the jedi's distress signal would sound. Pretty standard stuff, but it was interesting that she was personally sending the signal.
"Well, that puts us on a wee bit of a timer then, doesn't it? Best not squander it, hmm?" He would return to his meditation quarters at that point, closing his eyes as he sat down, briefly toying with the little box in his cloak for a moment, floating it around him to focus. It had been a while since he'd done this, last time was... probably back when that imbecile hutt was alive.
A few moments later, Sierra would feel a voice vibrate in her ear, somewhat aggressive in nature and urgent. "Sierra Altomar of the Order. I do not know your plans, but I would advise against engaging the Imperials for the time being. Fear not, the proverbial cavalry is coming."

Naomi's blade was suddenly pulled from her grasp, landing in the dust a few feet away. "Does that answer your question, Naomi?" In response she simply walked over to her Lightsaber, crouching and picking it up, then disengaging the blade and rubbing it carefully against her cloak. "Please don't do that, these things are a bitch to clean." She held a long stare with the dull orange eyes of the Jawa, then suddenly grinned. "Well, considering you haven't tried to kill me yet, i think my assumptions were right on the mark. So you are a Sith? I've never met any other than my mentor and he..." She paused for a second, letting out a deep breath. "Well he's not around anymore ya know?"
"Well, i'd love to try to best you in combat but i'm afraid we're a little busy right now aren't we?" Naomi said, glancing at the planetoid they were orbiting, her mouth forming a twisted smirk. Her hand clenched around her saber for a moment, almost tempted to start a fight anyway. But the less feral part of her mind told her no, and she finally slipped the saber back into its holster. "So Dench, you have a shuttle? Maybe we should discuss you plan further on board. Less 'prying eyes', no?" They began walking in the direction of the shuttle, which Naomi realized was only just out of site, when suddenly a burst of static followed by a female voice could be heard. "This is Jedi Knight Sierra Altomar, broadcasting from planet XB-1395. We are under Imperial invasion, I repeat, the Empire is invading XB-1395 in force. I need IMMEDIATE fleet support, size of the Imperial fleet is not known at this time."
Dench turned to Naomi. "This could be our diplomat." Naomi smiled once more, a feral light returning to her yellow eyes. The hunt was on.
((I think we can return to normal posting order now.))

Master Hellberg was seated at a bench at the edge of a viewing platform, it was a good enough place to meditate while he waited for his transport to be refuelled. He was brought out of his meditation by a transmission from one of the Knights. He had not intended to be on Iliad, but perhaps the Force had willed him to be here.
'This is Jedi Knight Sierra Altomar, broadcasting from planet XB-1395. We are under Imperial invasion, I repeat, the Empire is invading XB-1395 in force. I need IMMEDIATE fleet support, size of the Imperial fleet is not known at this time.'
Just brilliant, an Imperial invasion force. David concentrated for a moment, if there were any Force sensitives, it could alert the Empire of his presence, and that would be bad for this colony. Next, to find this Knight. He had heard the name Altomar. It was a fake name, used by one of the Knights, Sera if he remembered correctly.
He sent a transmission through to his fellow Jedi.
"Sera? This is Master Hellberg. What is your location?"

Imperial Stormtroopers seized the planetary relays, securing the workers and detaining them for the time being. Resistance was minimal, none of the workers had anything that would do more than scorch the white armored shock troopers anyways.
Outside the relay, teams set up two repeating blasters while the Imperial flag was raised over the relay.
Captain Breys moved over to the relay's controls, Imperial technicians hard at work already. Breys pushed a button, and Bafful appeared on the holo. The Stormtrooper officer saluted his naval superior, and then scratched beneath his cybernetic eye before growling out: "C-Co has secured the Relay sir. Setting up heavy weapons now."
Baffuls light blue representation nodded before crackling out his response."Excellent work Captain. Keep me informed." The holo shut off, and Breys went about seeing to his men.
----------
Bafful sipped from his cup of Caf, smiling as the tactical map of the world swiftly switched from a majority of red spots to blue spots. The Fourty-Second Legion was doing their work well. Reports continuosly streamed in regarding the operation.
----------
Lieutenant Cotse deftly hopped out of the shuttle, waving a gloved hand to get his men to move. The Army troopers charged into the military base of the capital city, supported by four AT-ST's, and a single earth shaking AT-AT which stood tall above the army base as the task forces stormtroopers rapeled down from it.
His platoon of Imperial volunteers were from Corellia, wearing grey fatigues and blast armor. They moved swiftly into the base, heading straight for the grounded starcraft.
One reckless pilot from the Illiad defense force did not allow himself to be detained without a fight. The young man growled out something in the guttural accent of the planet, and drew his blaster on one of the Corellian Troopers.
A blue circle slammed into the Illiad pilot, stunning him as the platoon began to forcibly disarm the young men and women.
A squadron of TIE's roared overhead in formation, escorting another batch of shuttles to the capital itself.
Within the hour, the Imperial flag was flying from the government building itself.

As soon as she'd ended the call, Sera would leave the console and room, jogging back towards the main entrance. At about that time, her personal communicator would buzz. This was rather perplexing, as no one on Illiad should have known what frequency it used. Sera would tentatively answer the device, only to be addressed by a 'Master Hellburg'. The only reason Sera didn't believe the person was lying was because the surname sounded familiar, and really only to her because of how ugly it sounded falling off her tongue. Names aside, it begged the question of why he was on Illiad, if a Master was here, why the hell did they send her here when he could have done the job himself? Was the Order really that unorganized? It wouldn't have surprised her, besides Skywalker and one or two other Jedi, Sera held little respect for the lot of them, enough contempt to not address them properly anyways. What annoyed her most was that the fool was using her real name and asking for her location, it may have been unlikely that the Imperials had already set up communications equipment capable of tracking personal communicator traffic, but it wasn't impossible, and Sera wasn't about to take any chances by revealing this information.
"I'd recommend you get some place safe and lie low Hellburg, I can handle myself." A curt reply, but not necessarily an aggressive one, if the Master Jedi knew anything about Sera, he shouldn't have been surprised by her lone wolf attitude and general disdain for him. Illiad didn't need Jedi as far as she was concerned, it needed a Republic fleet and it's armies. Before Sera could say anything further on the matter, she would be interrupted by a commotion going on around the corner at the front entrance to the building. As she reached the edge of the wall and peeked around it, her heart would drop at the sight. Imperial soldiers flooding in, quickly pacifying whatever workers were in the main lobby before they'd rush elsewhere. "Shit! I've got to go!" Sera would say in a hushed tone before ending the call and turning off her communicator, she didn't need anymore distractions right now. Turning on her heels, the Jedi would take off at a sprint back the way she came, if she was lucky the Imperials may not have secured all the emergency exits just yet and she could slip away into the night. As she was doing so however, a thought struck her, and one that wasn't her own... Whoever it was seemed to be a friend, another member of the Order perhaps? She wasn't sure, but the urge to conceal her force presence was overwhelming, however, against her better judgement Sera would hold off for the time being. The whole situation was getting rather unsettling, how many damn Force users were on this rock? And why?
---------------------
If you'd told General Ralios when he awoke that morning that before the day was out, Illiad would come under full scale invasion from the Imperials, he'd have had quite the laugh before continuing with his day. Suffice to say, the combat veteran wasn't laughing as Imperial soldiers stormed the city and it's garrisons, including the primary base he currently found himself in. Not even half an hour ago he'd been convening with his advisors and underlings, formulating plans for the fight to come on the ground, their air force mere minutes away from fully mobilizing. Next thing he knew, he was talking with the Prime Minister over a private channel. He was being ordered to stand down, much to his surprise. The soldier in him wanted to refuse, to continue planning for the battle to come, but the realist in him know that barring a miracle, it was a battle they'd likely lose. Illiad's forces wouldn't have been able to match the Imperials pound for pound, a guerrilla war was their only real option.
After an intense discussion, Ralios would end the call and contemplate for a few moments before having the order to stand down sent out. He didn't like it, but he also knew this route wouldn't see bloodshed like a full on war would, so that brought him some comfort at least. If they'd just stayed out of things like they had under the previous Prime Minister, they wouldn't be in this mess, but alas that ship had sailed. The General would sit patiently in his office as the Imperials stormed his base and disarmed his troops, sooner or later they'd reach his office, hopefully with an officer he could speak with.

The sound of the ships radio resonated with Dench, it was certainly going to help them get closer to their diplomat. As Dench took off in his ship, he looked uneasily over to Naomi, and then back at the control pad of his ship, he engaged an auto landing function on his ship, and they started barreling towards the surface of the planet.
As they got closer, and closer Dench noticed a new presence, that of imperials who were quickly swarming, and engulfing the planet, it wouldn't be long until they were able to take the place. Dench didn't want the republic to claim this pebble, but he certainly didn't want the empire to have it either, this invasion would require Dench to brainstorm a new plan, as his ship got closer, and closer to the surface of the lonely planet, he got up from his seat, walked over to a small container, and pulled out a small chip. He sat down on the ground crossing his legs, and then began tinkering with his translator, plugging the chip he had pried from the aforementioned container, into his tiny translator droid.
After a few moments of contemplation, and tinkering the tiny Jawa hatched a new plan, with his droids new adaptation, but he was unsure as to whether or not it would work. Dench approached his communication relay, and then turned back towards Naomi, and turned his translator on. "I think we're going to need a change of plans." After it's adaptations Dench's translator droid now took on a new tone, the voice mimicked that of a common protocol droid. He turned back to the communicator relay, and sent a message towards the nearest Republic stronghold; Coruscant (though others in the area could also pick up the message).
Dench waited to turn on his communication hub, until after he spoke into his translator, when he was finished speaking, he switched on the relays, and his translator droid began speaking. "This is a republic patrol droid responding to the distress signal sent from the Iliad, the attack was not major, and the iliad forces were able to hold off the imperials briefly. However there a still just a few Imperial ships left, so sending in a small fleet would be acceptable to take them on."
Dench turned off his communication hub, and then looked back over to Naomi, he spoke into his translator, and it reiterated. "Ok, our new plan - as you can probably now tell - is to convince the republic to retaliate against the imperials, I severely underestimated the size of the imperial fleet so the republic really has their hands full, and so they think something is suspicious about this attack, and the messaged they have been receiving. Our job now is to frame this - Sierra Altomar - for the murder of an Iliad official, like we planned before, but now we also must make it appear as though Sierra double crossed republic, and summoned the imperials here, and that in addition she murdered the Iliad official in order to replace the chain of command with an imperial officer."
There would be allot on their plates, and time would be an issue, but if all things went to plan, Dench would be satisfied, Naomi would be paid, and the imperials, and the republicans would decimate each other.
This ship touched down in a hanger, and Dench turned to Naomi, and his droid translated for him "Ready?"

To Torrin's pleased surprise, he would actually be able to reach the planet's surface without issue, though as he saw the landing craft approaching he knew that getting the Vagabond back off the surface was a no-go. It would have to find a place to hide out, and he would definitely inform the pilot of such. Fortunately the fellow already had a location in mind, so it was no issue. However, it was a bit far out of the way, so he would need to get dropped off a little closer; so again, it was no issue.
As the troops came in, Torrin would find himself a nice perch to observe from, namely a large tree on the outskirts. He always liked watching the Imperial ships come in, there was a sort of beauty to the precision of their maneuvers, almost like a well-choreographed dance. Still, he couldn't admire the beauty, rather focus on the places they were headed and also where the jedi was. Unfortunately, those locations were one in the same, considering that they were at the ever-vital communications relay. Well, guess he'd best get moving. He didn't care about the invasion all that much--it was a temporary annoyance, but not something which would set him back to any notable degree. He just didn't want to go home empty-handed. Looking around, he spotted a speeder lying unsupervised along one of the homes and quickly hotwired it before heading out towards the city. Still, it would take a while to arrive, fortunately there were still things he could do from this long a range.
From Sera's point of view, she would not notice his approach, as he still had some distance to close, but she would begin to notice a few peculiarities cropping up with the enemy troops. Rather conveniently, any stormtroopers she came across would seem to be distracted by something--not necessarily looking away from her, but they looked like they might have a bug in their helmet or something. One or two fellows would have actually taken theirs off and would be messing with their ears. Inversely, she would find sounds a little clearer than usual, footsteps would be louder, mumbled words would seem sharper, etc. She still had to fend for herself, but this little edge might be enough if things were looking ugly.
