Rhea snickered at her friend's protest, but decided to let it slide with a simple, "Fiiiine. You've found my weakness." Of course, once they actually settled down, she was pretty well-behaved and simply paying attention to the fellow joining them... though she had long taken notice of the vixen's blush. Probably the avian's fault that that was going on. Arthur's comment about them being the dynamic duo got another chuckle out of her, but she didn't comment, the idea of them actually being considered dynamic just seeming ridiculous to her. Now, she didn't pick up on the fact that he was actually being a little evasive about his own background, though that was largely due to her mind being elsewhere. That changed when he returned the question, which was about as unwelcome as could be. That wasn't his fault, since it was a natural return, but it was a good thing she was drinking at the time or her expression would have been a dead giveaway. Thankfully, she recovered quickly and decided to tell a half-truth about the matter, trying to bury the ludicrousness of things being 'amazing' under thirty feet of facade. "Well, nothing as grand as knocking down Andross," she admitted, speaking more earnestly than she felt, but still keeping everything nice and casual with a cheerful grin shot at the canine, "But we've been doing the same shtick as our folks did back in the day. Things have been a bit quiet lately, but at least we've still got things working, eh partner?" Of course, Jessie would have known from the way she looked at her that she was in a 'play along' mood, since she for her part didn't want to run the risk of one of the family friends catching word and accidentally blabbing to Fox and Falco. Not that she suspected Arthur to be a snitch, but he probably didn't have the same degree of control about the matter that they did. Of course, as she said those things, she felt like she had a slight itching at the back of her skull, like someone was watching her, but whenever she looked around nobody was specifically looking at them. Or at least, not that she noticed.
As for the jackal from earlier, not long after Arthur joined up with the Talon girls he headed over to start talking with Wolf O'Donnell, and while they might not have noticed much from him, when Rhea spoke his ear turned that way and his distinctive eyes locked on their table for a moment. Of course, afterwards he turned back to chatting with Wolf, but he occasionally glanced their way throughout it. In fact, during those moments, Jessica may have noticed a slight buzzing in the back of her mind, though it came and went as quickly as the jackal's attention.
