Medieval 2 Total War: RISK

The King of Ascalon, realizing they cannot hope to hold Ragusa and Zagreb...orders a retreat. The Forts are left unfinished, and instead built in Lions Arch and Vienna. The King refuses to fall back any farther than there however, ordering the Frontier troops to fight to the death.

The King also accepts the Targaryen Trade agreement, needing all the funds they can muster.

Spears are sharpened, crossbow bolts slid into place, shields reinforced and the colors of Ascalon are hoisted in the air, defiant against the oncoming horde of savages as the grim-faced Ascalonian troops prepare for their first taste of real combat.

The Young Aegon, overjoyed at his bethrothal, sends the Khaleesi her dragon. . . as well as an early wedding gift of 6000 gold which is transferred to Vaes Nica. Knowing the Khalasar has found itself at war, the Targaryen advisers urge the Khaleesi to use the gold in purchasing a fort in Vaes Thess and Vaes Consta, while building villages in Vaes Nica, Vaes Smyr, Vaes Trebi, and Vaes Iconi.

The Khaleesi is overjoyed by her gift, a Dragon! The gold is useful too, she will use it to secure her claims. The forts are built in Vaes Thess and Vaes Consta to secure her lands from invasion. Four villages are built in Vaes Nica, Vaes Smyr, Vaes Iconi and Vaes Trebi. The people are overjoyed. Gold will pour in, allowing more soldiers to be sent to the frontlines.

Her income is to be sent to the frontlines, all income in territories next to those with forts will be sent towards the forts. All income in territories further afield will be sent along the shortest distance to the nearest fort. Total War. This isn't including the fresh income from Vaes Thess, which is added to the army in Vaes Zagre and the income from Vaes Dura which is added to the army in Vaes Ragus.

As for the armies, they are bolstered by reinforcements paid by the raiding on the lands around Lion's Arch and Vienna. Furthermore, all trade income is expedited to these armies.

At the end of the battle of Lions Arch, the Ascalonian banners still fly over the fort! The men cheer, waving spears and swords in the air! The Ascalonian Knights had dismounted and fought the enemy on foot at the gates, outnumbered 2-1 , the Ascalonian men did not retreat, instead, butchering the savages as they came by the bushel! The King of Ascalon honors the sacrifices of the 116 Cavalrymen who gave their lives in a suicidal charge against the Dothraki spears to get to their archers, cutting down the archers and helping to turn the tide of the battle. The men dig in, celebrating.

The Captain of the fort is promoted to General of the war against the Dothraki, his name spoken at Ascalonian dinner tables as a hero, someone for children to look up to. His name is, General Thom Rathorn.

Lions Arch becomes a Motte and Bailey.

Money from Vaes Garza, Vaes Al, Vaes Moz and Vaes Bagh are placed into Vaes Jedd. This money goes to form a new village in these lands, and the donated money from the Targaryans is also used to build villages in Garza, Al, Moz and Bagh.

The Khaleesi transitions all money from the territories around forts towards forts, again except the money around Vaes Zagre which is added to the army there. Along with trade income and money from raiding, 6900 strong.[rand=823735525584129787288105750837394652574917638128700005046490145926841]
