"Yeh... wantin' to know what yer condition wus. Tull's burnt to the ground and NCR want all three of us dead for what happened back there... but we might have a plan."
Bullseye shrugged, rifling through the satchel on his belt and pulling out a stimpak before jabbing it into his crippled arm. “Good night's rest an' a stim' or two more, Ah'll be good as new. Wa's this plan?” he asked, eyeing her as she approached him. He couldn't stop himself from grinning back at her. After all they chaos at Tull, they'd made it out relatively unscathed. Typically his luck wasn't nearly that good.
"This is gonna lead us to the Desert Rangers, Bullseye." Cat said, waving a rolled up map and drawing his attention. "Earl and ah both got ties to tha Old Rangers, so if we find 'em we can turn this shit 'round. "
"She's speakin' true Bullseye. Ah dunno if you wanna come or not, but it's a whole lot better than gettin' strung up by the tans in my opinion. Ah'm gonna send Daniel and the boys out to hide in the hills while we take care of this business."
Bullseye frowned, not really liking the sound of any of it. He had his own ties to the Desert Rangers, and the thought of searching them out didn't sit well with him. The only one he knew, if the man was even alive, was as likely to shoot him as he was to welcome him with open arms. On top of the fact that he still didn't know quite how he felt about Earl, or even Cat for that matter.
“Ahright. . . . Look. Ah'm a little drugg'd out n' ah ain't quite followin'. Why the NCR blamin' us for Tull? And wha's the Desert Rangers got to do with anythin'? My only out was cllectin' the bounty on Earl anyway. If the NCR's on us, shouldn' we be tryin' to clear you two's names? Not that I got any love for the NCR. . . . Which, by the way, ah'm pretty sure we're gonna have one Sergean' Hatfield huntin' us down pretty soon, if the NCR is finally gettin' directly involved.”
Bullseye, flexed his wounded arm experimentally. The previously broken limb was still stiff, but at least the stimpaks had fixed the break by this point. “Say ah'm onboard with findin' the old rangers. What makes ya think they'll help? Last ah checked they didn' much care for politics.”
