actually allot of the work for the seven deadly sins is done for us, each one is represented by one of the 7 princes of hell based on peter binsfelds classification of demons. (I had allot of pagan friends in school).
Lucifer or Morning star: pride Mammon or syriac: greed Leviathan or Livyatan (who is actually a sea monster): envy Belphegor: sloth Asmodeus or Ashmedai: lust Amon or Satan (Amon and satan are actually two different entities, but they both represent wrath): wrath Beelzebub: gluttony
Each tend to have images assosiated with them, you can research the names and see what you can dig up, allot of artists were obsessed with these guys in 1500's so there's plenty to find, or you can look in the Dictionnaire Infernal, there isn't really a cannon source, but the Dictionnaire is probably the utmost authority on it.

Notes from kik conversation:
On Demons
First level is Limbo / the demons from Supernatural. Ched's dick was mentioned in here somewhere Second level is greed / (p)imp swarms. So basically imps just mob people and rip them apart or something. I dunno Third level is gluttony / this Ghom dude. The word boomer was tossed around but I don't know in what context Fourth level is sloth / Kumas, nalfeshnees, those things from Shadow of the Colossus. Big slow demons that kill everything Fifth level is envy / medusas Sixth level is lust / desire demons, succubi, all that fun stuff. Seventh level is pride / pride demons Eighth level is wrath / Khorne and his bros Ninth level is fear / Diablo, balors, and pit fiends.
