The RWBY Roleplay Rules and Guidelines
{Rule #1 - Maintain Established Canon}
With this RP, the foremost and primary goal is to maintain the existing canon of the RWBY universe. This specifically includes that content included in the RWBY Web Series, information taken directly from Roosterteeth, RWBY: Grimm Eclise, the RWBY manga, and to some degree the RWBY Chibi Series (but only when information from the previous sources does not contradict information from those higher in this list.) It should be noted that at this moment of writing, this only includes information presented on or before -June 27, 2016- This date is subject to change dependant upon the speed at which the RP moves, and when, if ever, our RP passes the flow of information from our primary sources. Any further information that is to be considered canon for our purposes, will be listed in the information hub. This means that other fanfiction, such as the RWBY Fanon Wiki, is not in itself considered canon. If you believe any information that is not included here should be considered canon, then please let us know in the planning thread, and if it fits then it will be added to our compendium of canon information.
{Rule #2 - Deductive Reasoning}
Based on canon information, some details can be deduced from statements and images seen during the series, despite the lack of that information being explicitly stated. An example of this is the twenty chess pieces used as artifacts for the students to retrieve during their initial test. This implies that a total of forty students were launched into the Emerald Forest for their first year test, despite what appeared to be only sixteen individuals launched off the cliff. In moments like this, a decision must be made, and the results of that discussion will be placed here, to be considered canon information. In the example given, it can be inferred that the RoosterTeeth animation team did not render all the students, as putting 30 additional shadows on the cliff is more difficult then designing the temple with twenty chess pieces, and furthermore having too many chess pieces could lead to students not being paired with another two students, based on the pairing rules we saw.
{ Rule #3 - Character and Team Creation} When it comes to the character and teams in RWBY, there are a few written and implied rules that apply to characters and their teams. When making a character or team, it's important to uphold these rules in keeping with the intentions of the canon. The more authentic we can keep our RP and the canon we make for ourselves, the better. - Color Naming Rule: Characters in the RWBY universe (except in very specific circumstances) all have names that are based on a color. The color naming rule itself, both for teams and characters, was detailed for fans by Monty Oum. As such, when making a character or team, it is essential to follow this ruling.
- At least one Red Name in a Team: While this in itself isn't a detailed ruling, so far it appears that every four person team we know each of the names of, has at least one character in that team that shares a name with something that alludes to the color red. This rule is looser, as it isn't explicitly specified, but try and uphold it whenever possibl if attempting to design a team of hunters and huntresses.
- Character Counterparts: Each of the characters appears to have a counterpart of sorts in the real world, and the characters on each team happen to follow a team motif that matches one another. The examples of this are how team RWBY is fairy tale women, Team JNPR is gender bent heroes who crossdressed at some point in their story. Obviously, characters do not share a counterpart with each other, and since there are only so many real world counterparts to choose from, it's important not to double up on these as well.
{Rule #4 - Balance of Power}
In a setting such as RWBY, the characters have what essentially amounts to super powers, which in this universe are called semblances. The stronger a character, the stronger the use of their semblance can be, to the point of ridiculousness. For story purposes, this makes for great fights, a sense of importance, and the task of overcoming great odds. When used on a player to player level though, it's important that these abilities aren't overused, or have a player placed in a terrible position. For this reason, before creating or using something over which another RPer has no control, talk it out with everyone in the planning thread first, or if you want to be extra secretive, PM the people in question it may effect. Being the target of 'Godmodding' can leave other players upset if they feel their character has been treated unfairly, and even doing so to NPC's can ruin a story. This is why we've put a hold on things like silver eyes, mind-control based semblances, and material manipulation semblances for the moment. For now, we want to the main characters on a reasonable level, though they can grow in power over time, as the stakes are raised.
{Rule #5 - Plot Armor}
If the final episodes taught us anything about the world of Remnant, it's that the story is more akin to the origins of fairytales, rather then the sweet modernized versions. We can only hope that Ruby isn't eaten by a beowulf and Jaune isn't burned alive. As such, try and limit the plot armor you give your characters. Of the major characters introduced so far, of which there are about 26, At least two of them are dead, one was gravely wounded, one was maimed, and another three may be dead as well. At worst, that means things go poorly for about a fourth of the characters. I'm not necessarily suggesting one of our characters have to to die, but the world of Remnant is not a beautiful fairy tale where nothing bad ever happens. Don't give your character too strong of plot armor. They will be hurt, they will suffer loss, and it's up to you if that breaks them, or they remain strong, if you choose to have them survive.
{ Rule #6 - Character Restrictions} In the interest of maintaining canon character integrity, and keeping things as close to originally intended, we want to try and avoid using certain canon characters too much. As we've seen a lot of what Team RWBY and JNPR have been up to in volumes 1-3, using them for too many additional scenes could lead to us overdoing things for them, or not keeping with their personalities. With other characters such as Oobleck and Port, using them will almost be required for our RP, as our characters are students, and Beacon's staff isn't that extensive. In this line, some people will want to keep a reign on their own NPC's, (PNPC's, if you're familiar with that terminology.) With this in mind, in the sections below that list all of our characters, we'll be grouping them into sections based on their origins, and what we need them for. - Player Characters - These characters are considered player characters, and like with any player characters their control is fully dependent on the wishes of their writer. Using one of these to perform any actions in any way without permission of their creator is off-limits. If you want to do something with someone else's PC, ask them in the story planning first.
- Heavily Restricted - These characters are heavily restricted when it comes to using them IC. This is for player controlled and created NPC's that aren't quite PC's, but their creator still has specific plans for them most of the time. This category is also for those characters who get a lot of screen time in RWBY, and most of the time using them is going to be adding something to that characters canon history, for our purposes. It should be noted that making references to these characters is fine, so long as you aren't giving them actions or words. If you do want to use them for something, it needs to be discussed in the story planning first.
- Lightly Restricted - This is for NPC's that the user created to be used for the RP, but doesn't have much in the way of plans for them. So long as you don't plan on killing or injuring this NPC, or doing something that might seem wildly out of character for them, you're okay to use this character for whatever it is you need them for. Also in this category, are canon characters who will inevitably be used based on the nature of the RP. Examples of this are Oobleck and Port, who will be necessary for our characters classes at Beacon. When using these, do your best to keep as close to their character and personality as possible. If you aren't quite sure how to handle something, feel free to ask in the story planning what your best avenue of action is, and we'll figure it out together.
- Unrestricted - This is only going to be for NPC's created that will be ones infrequently used, or ones created for a specific purpose, like an Atlas soldier or a shopkeeper in Vale. You can do whatever you need with these characters, even kill them off, so long as you're sticking with that characters personality. Because of the nature of these unrestricted NPC's, only the ones given a name and some amount of personality are going to be listed here, and the least notable ones used as one-offs will remain unlisted.

Vale Characters Player Characters
{ Crimson Dune } Profile:IC Talk Hex Code: c2b280 Name: Crimson Dune Age: 18 Gender: Female Species: Human Birthplace: Vacuo Hometown: Vale Counterpart: Pandora Appearance:Height: 1.57m / 5'2” ]Weight: 47kg / 104 lbs Eye Color: Pale violet red Build: Thin Hair Style: Crimson most often puts her hair in a low ponytail. For moments when she is more focused on her appearance then on combat, she styles her hair in a right-side swept style Hair Color: Black Skin Color: Olive Distinguishing Features: Crimson has nothing in the way of scars, deformities, or birthmarks, but does take the time to do her makeup. For her eyes, Crimson uses a red eye shadow, with black eye liner and mascara. She also utilizes foundation and concealer to compliment her olive complexion, but uses a brighter shade of blush, in an effort to hide how often she actually blushes. For her lips, she uses a lighter shade of red lipstick, and matching lip gloss. Attire: Crimson has five outfits she uses during her time at Beacon, one for combat, one for casual wear, her school uniform, a pair of pajamas, and one for proper events, such as the Beacon Dance. For combat, starting from the head, Crimson wears a red bandit mask, which she raises to cover her mouth when in combat. Atop her shoulders sits a red half cloak, which can be drawn over her left arm, and covers her back down to her waist, though ends where it wraps over right shoulder, leaving her favored arm and hand exposed. The back of the cloak has a hood as well, which can be pulled over head and ponytail. The cloak covers her shoulders completely, wrapped around as it is, and hides her neck as well in combination with her mask. Below this, she also wears a gold necklace, with a ruby insert that rests just above her cleavage, a gift from her mother. A breastplate starts with an open v-pattern of overlapping, thin plates at the top, with patterns that angle down to a flat ridge that ends above her bellybutton. Atop her breastplate, a strap runs beneath her right armpit, and back across to a left, circular shoulder pauldron, holding both the pauldron and cloak in place as well as adding some protection to her off-hand shoulder. The pauldron bears the carving of an eye with a teardrop at the forefront, with a spear behind it, Crimson's symbol. Theis symbol is painted red, though the rest of the pauldron is a mix of beige and sand, as well as her breastplate. On each arm, Crimson wears a bracer that begins beneath each elbow, and ends at the wrist. Beneath her bracers, she wears long, crimson gloves, that cover her fingers and end just below her shoulder. At the waist, Crimson wears sand colored pants that match her armor and reach down to her ankles. On the outer and inner side of each leg, a crimson stripe runs down the length of her leg, ending at her ankles as well. Her belt is also red, and acts as her pockets, with slots that contain the ammo for her weapon, a small clip for a wallet or handbag, and a folding case to protect and hold her scroll. On the right of the belt, a beige cloth hangs, also bearing her symbol in crimson, and ends at her knee. Both the edge of this cloth, and her cloak, appear tattered at the end, though this is due to personal choice in appearance and not due to actual damage to the garments received in combat. On her right leg, Crimson wears a beige colored, two-plate tasset fastened by leather straps at the back of her thigh. On both legs, Crimson also wears greaves that cover the front and back of her shins, in a beige color with sand patterns. Lastly, beneath her greaves but above her pants, Crimson wears a pair of knee high, red, high heeled boots, which have a fold at the top. These boots are secured in the front by sand colored laces, and have a circle of beige coloring by the ankles. Crimson's school outfit is like that of every other students, choosing to do nothing to modify the clothing save her choice to wear black pantyhose rather then leave her legs exposed. For her pajamas, Crimson wears a sand colored, silk caftan dress to bed. Crimson's more formal dress is a gift from her aunt, before she left for Beacon. The dress is a crimson color, with sand accented bead work along the strapless upper end, the midriff, and the hem. The bottom of the dress ends with a second, interior layer at the knee that is also sand colored, but ends with its own set of red beadwork. Both sides of the dress are cut just above the knee, before the second layer of the dress begins. So far, Crimson has only worn this dress once, during her interview with Ozpin, while trying to gain entry to Beacon. Her last outfit is her casual attire, which she utilizes when she goes out to the city, visits home, or simply plans to relax all day. This outfit consists of a crimson, v-neck, long sleeve blouse, a pair of sand colored short shorts, a black belt that she wears at a slight angle and which carries her scroll, black pantyhose, and a pair of sand colored open toe heels. Weapons and Abilities:Weapon: Nomad Aspiration Crimson', like all students at Signal Academy, designed and created her weapon herself. In memory of her mother, Crimson's base weapon takes the form of a spear, with a number of varying forms. One-handed Spear – The base form of Crimson's weapon is a two-handed spear, that is 4'2” / 1.27m in length. The blade is colored crimson and sand, in stripes that run the length of the haft. At the rear end of the spear, a narrow strip of beige cloth with Crimson's symbol in red hangs loose. The tip of the spear is made up of six individual blades, placed evenly around the haft, which meet to form a broadhead point in the center. Because of the inset mechanism, these tips can retract towards the haft, allowing them to spring forward on impact with an opponent, or fold outward, causing internal damage after penetration. When not in use, Crimson can hang the spear on the back strap of her shoulder pauldron, keeping it out of the way, Two-handed Spear – Using a periscopic design, the haft of the spear can extend outward, increasing the length of the blade to 6'6” / 2m. Due to Crimson's small stature, this allows her to use the weapon as a pike in addition to her capabilities to wield it in a fashion similar to a quarterstaff. Rope Dart – The third function of the weapon can be used while the spear is retracted into its one-handed version. The top 6 inches of the weapon, including the blade, can be fired out from the weapon, and used in a fashion similar to a rope dart. At a maximum, the spear head can be shot a maximum of thirty meters before it's metal cable runs out, and with the spearpoints folded outward, allows the weapon to be used in a manner similar to a grappling hook. This allows Crimson to scale buildings quickly, or alternatively grapple opponents to pull them closer. The haft can be used to manually retract the cable, or determine the distance at which the spearhead shoots. RPG – The last and final function of the Nomad Aspiration is it's transformation into a rocket propelled grenade launcher. In this mode, the spearheads retract into the haft, and the haft itself expands, unfurling an interior curl to widen the haft into a barrel. Two handles fold down from the expanding haft during this time, the forward of which has a trigger. A few inches in front of the trigger mechanism, a crosshair folds outward above the haft, giving Crimson some limited ability to aim. Only a single shot of this weapon is permitted before it becomes necessary for Crimson to reload, the projectile itself formed from a cylinder of dust ammo dropped down the front of the barrel. As with most weapons, these shots will have different effects dependent upon the type of dust used. Equipment: Aside from her weapons and armor, there are a few other things Crimson carries around with her. The most important of these is her scroll, which she has a protective pouch for on her belt. Another clip on the belt is used to hold a wallet, that contains a few things, including a credit card given by her aunt, some Lien, and a photo of Crimson with her mother and father. The rest of the belt is occupied single use dust cylinders of varying types to use with her weapon. Lastly, Crimson typically carries a pair of beige and black headphones, which she uses in tandem with her scroll to listen to music. Abilities: Because of her size, Crimson is weak compared to most other hunters and huntresses. What she lacks in strength however, she makes up for in agility. Quick and nimble, Crimson finds it easier to dodge around an opponent, tiring them out before making a strike. If quick enough to make a strike, Crimson chooses to cut at the ankles or elbows, avoiding direct confrontation with her opponent before she is convinced she can beat them. If she feels an opponent outmatches her, she will usually retreat in an attempt to fight them on her own terms. To do this, she utilizes steam dust fired from her weapon to create a smokescreen, uses the fireable spearpoint to pull herself away from danger, or uses the blast from her shot to propel herself out of the fray. As a compliment to her fighting style, Crimson has grown skilled in avoiding combat entirely, adept at moving silently and remaining unseen when she chooses. Other Skills: With some teaching from her uncle, Crimson has a basic understanding of business and finance, though she makes little use of it. Her aunt has turned her into a passable cook and given her an interest in books. Before her mother and fathers disappearance, they taught her some limited survival and tracking skills. Though too shy to do so publicly, Crimson is a fairly good singer, though she only practices when no one can hear her. Lastly, despite Signal Academy being located on island, Crimson never learned to swim, and had no opportunities during her time in the deserts of Vacuo. Aura: SandSemblance: TBD Personality: On the surface, Crimson does her best to put on a front of cheerfulness, compassion, confidence, and a cool head. Beneath the surface however, her emotions are like a whirlpool. Crimson has near crippling self doubt, compiled with a hefty dose of anxiety. She grows embarrassed and blushes heavily at even the simplest things. To those she begins to trust, Crimson grows very protective, due to her abandonment issues that developed with the disappearance of her parents. A breach of that trust can leave her emotionally crippled for a time, though despite her issues Crimson manages to carry on in the most difficult situations. Crimson stays quiet around strangers, and only finds herself talkative among those she considers her friends. Her anxiety makes her a poor leader, and causes her to constantly second guess her actions, with a fear that a mistake will ruin others opinions of her. She is slow to anger, but fast to cry, and the former never occurs without the latter happening first. When happy, she displays an excitability for the moment at hand, though this mood is easily spoiled. These things have made her shy, and she rarely approaches others whom she does not yet know. It is difficult for her to make friends for this reason, and after her transfer to Signal she failed to find anyone whom she would consider a close friend. History:Crimson was born to father Chrys Dune, and mother Dahlia Garnet, in a small village nestled in the deserts of Vacuo. A small village with only a few hundred residents, Crimson grew up in relative safety. With its distance from the major cities, the village of Cold Rocks was thankful to have her parents as residents, both of whom had trained at Shade Academy. Even at a young age, her parents began grooming Crimson to one day became a huntress herself, teaching her as best they could in the small village before it would be time for her to attend a combat school. With only a few other children her age to play with in the village, Crimson rarely found herself getting into trouble or mischief. On some occasions, the family would be visited by her aunt Sapphire, her mother's sister that had married a hunter from Beacon. For a time, life was good, but the world of Remnant is not kind to its inhabitants. With the creatures of Grimm posing a constant threat, travel outside the kingdom cities could be a deadly threat to those untrained. With a need to support themselves, Crimson's parents would take turns with odd jobs. From protecting caravans, to eliminating pockets of Grimm, and occasionally acting as enforcers, all went smoothly. Eventually, Crimson came of age, and was brought to Shelter Academy, one of the smaller combat schools scattered throughout the kingdom of Vacuo. Crimson found the first year at the school marvelous, and pushed herself to her limits. Despite her size, she quickly began to mold into an adept fighter, excelling in agility and acrobatics. The picture of a model student, Crimson spent weeks working on designing her weapon – a broad scimitar and buckler. When the design was finally finished, nearing her fourteenth birthday, her mother gifted her a ruby necklace to commemorate Crimson taking her first steps to become a huntress. With Crimson at school, her parents returned to their calling, taking jobs together now that they no longer needed to protect their daughter constantly. As Crimson began the process of crafting her to-be weapon, her parents set out to protect another caravan traveling between the desert villages. The first signs that something had went wrong came when the caravan never arrived at the next village, and after a week missing, a team of hunters in training at Shade Academy went to track down the the missing convoy. Worried for her sister, Crimson's aunt and uncle accompanied them, prepared to scour the desert to find her missing sibling. When the expedition finally returned, Crimson quickly found herself in tears when her aunt reported that not a trace of them had been found. Though her aunt was convinced her sister no longer lived, Crimson refused to believe her mother and father had died, and took her yet unfinished weapons to try and find them. Stricken by grief and a feeling of abandonment, Crimson traveled for two days in the desert searching, growing hungry, dehydrated, and emotionally distraught before her aunt finally caught her. Forced to return and give up the search for her own safety, Crimson cast her weapons away, leaving them behind in the desert sand. Despite concern from her aunt Sapphire, Crimson became adamant that she no longer wanted to become a huntress. The weeks that followed left Crimson in tears on a daily basis, as gravestones were made, placed at Cold Rocks village and a funeral ceremony was held. Through all this, she continued to deny that her parents had passed, but with no family to take care of her, Crimson was taken with her aunt and uncle back to Vale. The city was a sprawling nightmare to Crimson, who had grown up in an endless desert, but the months that followed had her able to adjust. Her uncle Cordovan Steel owned a rather successful metal refinery in the industrial district, and Crimson suddenly found herself living in the lap of luxury. As time grew long, Crimson inevitably became bored without her schooling, at at a reluctant request her aunt and uncle were more then happy to let her resume her schooling. Enrolling at Signal Academy on Patch, Crimson found herself behind in her abilities and studies. Having abandoned her previous weapon, Crimson was forced to create another. In memory of her mother, who had used a spear, she began her work on the designs for Nomad Aspiration. Despite her abilities, Crimson's schooling suffered from her broken spirit. Her successes did little to assuage her growing insecurity, with her failures only compounding it. With the encouragement and help of her aunt and uncle, she managed to complete her time at Signal, though no longer the star pupil she had once been. With little in the way of other desires, Crimson made an early application to Shade Academy in Vacuo, where her parents and aunt had attended. To her devastation, Crimson was not accepted into the academy, and returned to Vale disappointed and heartbroken. Her uncle, usually matter of factual and businesslike, surprisingly comforted her as much of her aunt did, insisting the Academy had made a mistake by not accepting her. Having attended Beacon himself, Cordovan was certain that the beacon headmaster would see what Shade had missed. Dressing her best to try and make an impression with the help of her aunt, Crimson prepared for her interview with the eccentric Ozpin. To her surprise and dismay, the man was well aware of her history and shortcomings, as well as her denial at Shade Academy. And yet, to her surprise and joy, the headmaster accepted her into the academy, with an extremely blunt line of questioning. After an assurance that she would find answers to her parents disappearance one day from the headmaster, a teary eyed Crimson departed for home, where she impatiently awaits the start of her training at Beacon Academy. { Gwyn Icyni } Profile:IC Talk Hex Code: 726c23 Name: Gwyn Icyni Age: 18 Gender: Male Species: Human Birthplace: Mistral Counterpart: Boudica Appearance:Height: 5'11" Weight: 157 lbs Eye Color: Smoke Grey Build: Gwyn has a muscular upper body, though he mostly resembles an average person. Hair Style: Pulled back into a ponytail a bit above the base of his neck. His hair not pulled back is just above his shoulders. Hair Color: Bronze Skin Color: Somewhat tanned on his arms and face, though he does have quite the terrible farmer's tan and his fair everywhere else. Distinguishing Features: He [Gwyn] has no real scarring or physical damage, he does have a small tattoo of a knotted tree upon his left shoulder. Attire: Outside of his normal casual/school wear, which usually consists of either sweatpants or school clothing, he wears his combat armour (mostly over his casual clothes.) he created out of heavy metals in vital areas, allowing for mobility and protection, though not favouring one over the other. His armour includes a breastplate, greaves and a vambrace. He also wears a light cloak/overtunic that covers his shoulders and arms for more protection against light weather conditions. Weapons and Abilities:Weapon: Aeron and Anextiomarus Aeron and Anextiomarus are the pair of shields that Gwyn uses as both defensive and offensive weaponry. He himself had help crafting these weapons from his family, his father and uncle both helping craft a weapon for him as they did his older sister who had become a Huntress earlier. The shields are inexpensive, not using dust nor ammunition of any kind, though they lack a very good ranged capability. Aeron is the more, vicious, offensive shield shaped in the way of a Heater Shield when fully extended, Aeron has a blade connected to a chain spool within the shield, faced downward to the tip of shield. Aeron also has the ability to condense down into a more solid striking weapon, enhancing the blade with more splitting and piercing power (from being fired from the chain spool). Though like anything, it has a consequence, this being losing all of Aeron's shield-defensive capabilities. Anextiomarus is the, stalwart, defensive shield shaped more as a Board Shield, though about as big as a Heater. Anextiomarus has layered panels, able to extend out and lock into a larger shield to cover most of Gwyn's torso and legs (Down to the knees). Though the added defense is astonishing, Gwyn loses almost all of his mobility if he extends Anextiomarus. Equipment: Other than his shields, he does carry around his scroll on a small leather satchel adorning his belt. The shields also don't lay strewn on his arms at all times, Jean has strapping for them as a makeshift back-shield-pack. Though he does look somewhat like a metal turtle. Abilities: Gwyn had been trained in Sanctum for a while, not too surprising as a local wannabe-huntsman of Mistral, but enrolled in Signal near the ending years of the trainee-huntsman schooling. Gwyn learned his abilities as he learned to fight with his shields. Each shield acted as a different trait, a different aspect, Aeron demanded high movement and brutality, whereas Anextiomarus is based around standing your ground, to protect yourself with all your might until an opportunity arises to be relieved. Other Skills: Not much of a skill, but Gwyn seems to have an uncanny ability to be -the- slowest runner in the world. He tries to though, don't judge him too hard. Aura: Forest GreenSemblance: TBD Personality: Gwyn is imperious, rash, quick to anger and stubborn, very, very stubborn. His view is one of his and his alone, he believes in himself and what he was taught to believe, though he is open to new ideas, he is slow to take them and would rather fight to keep his own traditions and ideals. Despite how he seems, so unmoving and self-centered, he truly does believe in protecting others when they need it, nor does he believe in throwing his opinions in others faces, he simply likes to keep his defended to himself. His personality is almost reflected in his weapons, Aeron being rash, quick to anger and ruthless. Anextiomarus being a bit more collected and stalwart upon not moving a single inch. History: Gwyn had lived in Mistral for most of his life, the murky swamps and even murkier people teaching Gwyn early on in his life that many are not to be trusted, sticking to his own code, a code of family-worth and to the small community around him. His life began simply, a small frontier settlement in the outskirts of Mistral's inhabited territory. His father was a shopkeeper, small time, his mother being a waitress at the only pub in the settlement. They lived relatively quietly, Huntsman and Huntress coming to deal with the occasional Grimm problem, but they never had too many issues. His small family, consisting of two other siblings, both sisters and a nearby millworking uncle provided ample enough family time and money to be satisfied with life, considering the lifestyle of the frontier. His older sister, Eira was actually the one to convince Gwyn to attempt to become a Huntsman. His entire childhood, he played as a hero, never really thought of becoming one. Gwyn always thought he'd become like his father, working in his small shop and growing old on the frontier. He understood the danger of the Grimm, but nothing ever galvanized him to fight them, to actually defeat them in combat. Eira though, becoming a fully-fledged Huntress years before he had even thought of joining Sanctum. She never really lived long as a Huntress though, she died on a small expedition into Grimm-infested territory to actually begin to expand the defenses of the town to keep the townspeople safe from further attacks in the coming years. Her death struck Gwyn as he never really thought he could be hit. Never had he once thought about the dangers of the Grimm, nor did he think of protecting his family, he always pretended to play hero with his younger sibling and was a loyal companion to his older sister, though never truly thought of becoming a hero. That thought died when he grew older, he became one of the frontier, aiding his father and learning that his community was his, those around didn't matter and Grimm certainly weren't apart of his world, surprisingly for a frontier town, the Grimm almost never attacked, he was in a "Lucky" zone, Grimm more heavily focusing more to the coastal areas. Yet with the death of Eira, he vowed to protect his town from the onslaught of the invading Grimm that would dare cross his path, the monsters he never paid attention too, the things he believed would never truly be his problem. Not the most uncommon vow, but certainly one to push one into action. Gwyn enrolled into Sanctum, creating his own weapons and armour from the various materiel given to him by the school as his family wasn't one able to pay for the more exotic materials. He didn't do this alone however, he just couldn't, he wasn't a natural born warrior like his sister who had built it with only minimal aid from his family. Gwyn had his father and uncle aid in the construction of his shields, he also struggled in Sanctum. He wasn't a warrior, he was a shopkeep that vowed to protect his town and he only made it by in Sanctum when the family moved to Vale, the frontier became rapidly more unstable as Grimm, who Gwyn once thought were nothing of importance, something the Huntsman and Huntress' could deal with and leave him to his everyday life, invaded the frontier settlements more and more frequently. Frontiers became less populated and shops needed customers. Gwyn's father had another brother in Vale, so they scrounged up what money they had to head their, to set up shop, aiding the family better to recover from the losses in the frontier of Mistral. This led to Gwyn actually being enrolled in Signal for the last year of trainee-huntsmanship, but none-the-less, it actually saved his hide, considering he wasn't doing too well in Sanctum due to past screw-ups, he was able to semi-fresh slate it and save himself from washing out of the hunstmen. To this day, as Gwyn readies himself for Beacon, he hasn't changed much. He believes in his family, he's here to protect them later, he almost doesn't care for others and the small line of vengeance and protection is being very blurred in his mind, yet here he is, for reasons almost nowhere near the quality of others, he has capability. If he actually stands up to that possibility of becoming a Guardian of the Kingdoms or a vengeance seeking Hunter is up to what happens in this Academy. Weapon: Ozpin's Cane Additional Info: Ozpin's Wiki PageDeath: During the Battle of Beacon, Ozpin engages in combat with Cinder, who had just gained the Fall Maiden's power. It is unclear if Ozpin is dead or simply missing, but his cane is seen in the possession of Qrow, meaning if he has survived, he no longer possesses his weapon. In either case, Cinder seems to have been victorious in her battle, and in doing so leaves Ozpin's fate uncertain. { Summer Rose} Counterpart: Unknown, though Summer's name alludes to the poem 'The Last Rose of Summer,' from a quote on her grave. However, based on the possible counterparts of her teamates, it is possible she would have alluded to Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz. Semblance: Unknown Weapon: Unknown Additional Info: Summer's Wiki PageDeath: Summer died at some point before the events of of RWBY, and in turn our RP. She has been included here for completions sake. { Taiyang Xiao Long} Counterpart: Unknown, but based on what little information is presented, and the possible counterparts of his teamates, as well as his fear for his daughters safety, it is possible Taiyang's counterpart is the Cowardly Lion from the Wizard of Oz. The other possibility, is that his counterpart comes from a as of yet unidentified poem, based on the other possibilities of his teamates Qrow and Raven, as well as Summer Rose' name being based on a poem. Semblance: Unknown Weapon: Unknown Additional Info: Taiyang's Wiki Page{ Qrow Branwen} Counterpart: Unknown, but due to his relation to Ozpin and name, it is possible his counterpart is intended to be the Scarecrow from Wizard of Oz, further supported by his brain constantly being addled by the effects of alcohol. Based on his sister, it is also possible that Qrow's counterpart is Bran the Blessed, a character from Mabinogion. The last possibility is a poem about Huginn and Muninn, two ravens from Norse mythology, which would also match the team motif, based on the known origin of Summer Rose' name, which also comes from a poem. Semblance: Unknown, though based on scenes from the series, it is possible that his semblance is either the same as Yang's, based on his destructive attack performed directly after the only hit he received during his fight with Winter Schnee. More likely, it is implied that his semblance allows him to Shapeshift into a Crow, as implied in the after credits scene of "End of the Beginning". Atlas Characters Player Characters
{ Iola Kali } ProfileIC Talk Hex Code: c200ff Name: Iola Kali Age: 18 Gender: Female Species: Human Birthplace: Atlas Counterpart: Artemis, Greek Goddess Appearance:Height: 5'10" Weight: 154lbs Eye Color: Violet Build: More on the strong side, having a somewhat above average muscular upper-body. Not over the top, but noticeable. Hair Style: Long at the back, short at the front, wavy and straight. Hair Color: Black Skin Color: Tanned Distinguishing Features: A very noticeably large claw mark covering the left side of her face Attire: Patterned armour under-layer, an old long thick leather jacket covering most of her body above. Weapons and Abilities:Weapon: Alessa Iola's weapon, in normal form, is a heavy and mechanical looking Crossbow. It looks clunky and extremely heavy (think of bianca from Dragon Age). It has the ability to fire different bolts varying in dust elements, for example, an electric bolt that stuns a target or a fire bolt that explodes upon impact. Her crossbow can also mechanically change into a one-bladed, two-handed axe for short-range combat, but lacks any significant powers. It was built for her in Atlas and has had many modifications since it's creation. It is, however, expensive to maintain and is the reason Iola visits dust stores often. Upon being questioned what she'd name her weapon, she simply replies "Alessa", having given it almost no consideration, uncaring for names where purpose matters. Equipment: Iola keeps a pouch on her belt with different types of crossbow bolts in it. Also her scroll. Abilities: Being a woman who uses range over close-quarter combat, Iola is required to move a lot. She's able to do acrobatics on a skillful level, able to do backflips, rolls and lunges. She can also track Grimm and other animals. Other Skills: Drawing and painting. She also can play a flute. Aura: Violet. Semblance: Hunting Instinct - Iola is able to activate her semblance to hunt more effectively is she focuses, being able to track creatures and people from a much longer distance and more clearly, as if being able to see the footsteps and movements of those she is hunting more clearly. Personality:Quiet and blunt most of the time to those who she doesn't know, Iola is actually quite kind and caring to those she does know. This is often only seen by nature, as she has a deep care towards fauna and flora, often taking walks through nature itself when not training or painting. When she does paint, she paints nature itself or her friends. Despite this, her quiet nature is almost instantly replaced with a violent, brutal and unforgiving huntress when angered (the same focused persona one would have when hunting). History: Atlas was Iola's home. She was born in Atlas, she grew up in Atlas, she made her weapon in Atlas, she knew it's roads, it's streets, it's creatures and technology. Iola lived and breathed Atlas. Her parents were hunters- in general, they hunted Grimm. Following in their footsteps, she attended Atlas School in the hopes of becoming a Huntress. She took steps much too far, however, living and breathing the ways of hunting and interested in little else. Due to this, she became extremely competitive in fights, distancing herself from others and enjoying nature more then she did with anything else. She discovered her semblance this way, however, hunting animals. Iola became quite used to running from Grimm at a young age, due to hunting creatures quite often, and always swore to the Atlas Academy she'd learn to fight and hunt Grimm. Especially after being too slow at the age of 16... where a great Beowolf caught up with her, slashing her face, leaving a haunting claw mark forever... The danger of the Grimm never scared her (despite the scar) until her last years at Atlas School, however, where she was told both her parents had been killed while hunting. People believed she was distant before, but now she lived and breathed the hunt, not Atlas. The once patriotic and quiet woman Atlas knew grew so far that she even signed up to go to Beacon Academy for further education. Before she left Atlas, however, she took advantage of the technological superiority and had a weapon designed, built and modified countless times before she left...the very same weapon she uses until this day, named "Alessa." Regarded as a capable fighter, Iola is going to Beacon Academy- despite not many people knowing nearly anything about her. This is because there is little history to Iola, and a large lack of friends to learn about her. Perhaps this will change... { Lefko Ariadne } Profile:IC Talk Hex Code: 0b7a01 Name: Lefko Ariadne Age: 18 Gender: Male Species: Human Birthplace: Atlas Counterpart: Ajax of Greece Appearance:Height: 6'1 Weight: 220 lbs Eye Color: Yellow Build: Muscular Hair Style: 'Ivy League' cut. Hair Color: Black Skin Color: White Distinguishing Features: Clean shaven Attire: Similarly to his brother, Lefko wears a set of modified Atlas soldier gear. However, his under suit is the typical black mesh of the Atlas military, and his armor itself is the standard issue white. He also uses a modified version of the helmet which covers his lower face as well, and can be pushed up like an old school visor. He wears a cloak, like his brother, dyed black. It comes with a hood to pull above the helmet. The cloak is emblazoned with a white spear, pointing up. His own personal symbol. Weapons and Abilities:Weapon: Aequitas and Veritas Aequitas is an Atlas military rifle, modified to be a huntsmen weapon. It has three modes of usage. Rifle- This is Aequitas' basic form, an Atlas military rifle set for select fire bursts. The dust rounds are made for penetration on hard targets, and it is a medium range weapon. One Handed Spear- When an enemy gets closer than he likes, Aequitas is turned into a one handed spear for jabbing, to be used in cohesion with Veritas' shield mode. To accomplish this, the barrel splits apart and then extends into a point. The military grade metal is highly effective at slicing through flesh. Resting Mode- It folds in on itself, unable to be used as a weapon. Veritas is a modified Atlas military pistol, modified to be a Huntsmen weapon. It has two modes. Pistol- A select fire pistol, nothing unique or special about it. Buckler- Veritas turns into a buckler, which Lefko uses in cohesion with Aequitas' spear mode for melee combat. It condenses in on itself, creating a tiny shield used for deflecting blows, rather than completely blocking them. Equipment: Lefko carries his personal scroll on him, which he utilizes for coordinating with his brothers and pals, in a protective pouch on his armor. He carries a second one for more personal use such as calls to home. He has a flare gun, and carries a bedroll rolled up on his lower back, attached to his armor. He has a roll of bandage wrapping tucked into one of his other pouches. Finally, he has a deck of cards depicting various Atlesian armors and how to identify units based on the colorized trim of their armor, which he uses as a reference. Abilities: Due to his above average size and build, Lefko has above average strength. He has a sharp mind for military and combat related matters, but tends to fall behind others in 'larger' scenarios such as politics or Other Skills: Map and Compass reading, and board game playing. Aura: White Semblance: Lefko's semblance reflects his nature rather well, the ability to never fatigue or tire so long as his aura stays up. This allows him to exercise much longer than most people would be able to, or to run farther, and to fight longer. When it collapses however, much of the strain of the activity comes back to him. Personality: Lefko is slow to speak, but when he does, he says what he means without dressing it up. His blunt manner of speaking has earned him few friends, but he rarely speaks with malice. He is just very critical when it calls for it, and has a very black and white view of the world. Those who are good are good, those who are bad need to be shot. Alongside that, he has an almost complete confidence in his viewpoint being firmly in 'the right', and holds those around him to that same standard. He's hyper-competitive, and can become completely oblivious to his surroundings while competing. Alongside that is a great reservoir of courage, and he is always readily available to volunteer for tasks. History: Lefko was born alongside Mavros, his identical twin, into the Ariadne family. The Ariadne family is a prestigious military family in Atlas, with a legacy of service dating back to the Great War when it was still the Kingdom of Mantle. His father is Micah Ariadne, the patriarch of the family and a career officer in the Atlesian military. His mother is Kerria, a Huntress from Vale who Micah fell in love with while assisting her on a hunt that took place within Atlas' bounds. From a young age, Lefko trained alongside his brother under the watchful supervision of their father, their lineage already ensuring their future career. Despite their mothers misgivings, Micah was determined for his children to become military personnel like himself, or to even go into Special Operations and serve Atlas to the best of their ability. Lefko soon developed into a competent combatant, familiar with the standard issue weapons of the Atlesian military and their maintenance. On top of this, he and his twin learned how to survive on their own, something they had to put to the test when the two young siblings were left alone in the woods for a week by their father; albeit with close monitoring (from their mother at least) to ensure they were never in any real danger. They were kept on a strict diet at all times, and had very sparse comforts at home. Eventually, Lefko was slotted to go through a specialized military academy by their father alongside Mavros, against the wishes of their mother who wished for them to get a chance to see more of the world. They were shipped off to Prometheus Academy, and Lefko found himself flourishing in the highly regulated environment, where what was wrong and right was clearly laid out in front of him. He became even more competent in combat, and discovered his semblance while at the school, his ability to never fatigue so long as his aura didn't collapse. This semblance ended up helping him greatly, and he became known as an athletic and enthusiastic 'cadet', never tiring in his adherence to duty. He also developed a reputation for competitiveness, always seeking to out perform his fellow cadets. Yet, he also would always attempt to help those even has he attempted to beat them, trying to get them to perform even better to force him to work harder. The only one who was ever able to do this, was his brother. When the two competed in the Atlas regional tournament in their final year, at the behest of their father after Lefko won the one the year before that, they met in the final match of the tournament. Lefko was thrashed utterly by Mavros, and was robbed of his ultimate victory in his final year. However, Lefko bears him no real grudge for this, despite his bruised pride, instead using it to drive him to work even harder, and to compete even more rigorously. He now see's his brother as not just an equal, but a bit of a friendly-rival for him to compare to. With their graduation from Prometheus, Kerria finally put her foot down and demanded that Micah allow the boys to be sent to Beacon, to see if they wouldn't prefer to become Hunters. Knowing of Ironwoods respect for Ozpin, and beginning to soften up after seeing how well his sons had developed, Micah finally relented. After all, the two would have to be hunters anyways to join the Special Operatives unit. { Mavros Ariadne } Profile:IC Talk Hex Code: f9fcb Name: Mavros Ariadne Age: 18 Gender: Male Species: Human Birthplace: Atlas Counterpart: Lyudmila Pavlichenko Appearance:Height: 6'1” Weight: 212 lbs. Eye Color: Yellow Build: Muscular Hair Style: 'Ivy League' Cut Hair Color: Black Skin Color: White Distinguishing Features: Facial hair kept in a 5 o' clock shadow. Attire: Mavros wears a set of slightly modified Atlas soldier armor. The armor plates themselves are a polished silver, with the undersuit that usually has a black color appearing white instead. In the places on the armor such as the collar or armguards that bear additional colors, these places are colored black on Mavros armor. Unlike his brother, Mavros gear lacks the usual helmet utilized by Atlas soldiers. Lastly, secure to the shoulders of his armor, Mavros wears a long white cloak, with a hood to pull over his head. Emblazoned on the back of the coat in black, is a winged sword pointing straight up, set above a sunburst, his symbol. When at school, Mavros holds to the Beacon Academy uniform. When off-duty, for casual wear, Mavros wears attire similar to that of the Atlas Academy uniform with a white beret, due to his upbringing in a military family. Weapons and Abilities:Weapon: Agios Krisi Mavros weapon, made during his time in combat school, is a winged longsword named Agios Krisi. The sword itself rests in a scabbard that Mavros carries on his belt at his left hip. Aside from its longsword form, the weapon can fold in half longways, creating a barrel, and turning the weapon into a rifle that can fire in single, burst, or automatic modes. The last mode of the weapon is that the blade can extend further outwards, changing it from an assault rifle into a sniper rifle. Like most weapons, the effect of the rounds changes depending on the type of dust used for ammunition. Equipment: Mavros carries little in the way of equipment, with only a scroll, a wallet, and extra ammunition for his weapon carried on his belt. Abilities: Unlike his brother, Mavros isn't overly strong, however his speed and strength balance out evenly, making him an adept warrior. He is a brilliant tactician, and has a sharp mind for politics and intrigue, though he often finds himself at odds on these points due to intolerance for wrongdoing. Other Skills: Things expected of a soldier, such as map and compass reading, military fortification, and vehicle operation. He also has a head for several board games and card games, though he does not indulge in these often. Aura: Black Semblance: Mavros semblance, dubbed 'Light', gives him a number of abilities involving manipulation and creation of light. He has the ability to make himself appear as a glowing light, or create a flash of light that can temporarily blind opponents. Inversely, he can direct it away from himself, preventing a muzzle flash or glare from his weapon. He can also create tangible 'light screens', that appear in the form of hex patterned yellow light, which can be used as a barrier to block incoming attacks, or as a surface to jump off of. In junction with the sword mode of his weapon, he can also create slashes of light that extend from the arc of the sword, and travel outwards in a crescent shape from the point of origin until colliding with a target or extending beyond the reach of his abilities. Personality: Like his brother Lefko, Mavros has a very black and white view of the world, though does so in a more abstract form. For Mavros, there is only what is right and what is wrong. While he holds no illusions that sometimes one cannot be achieved without the other, he embraces both so long as the right outweighs the wrong. If he must break an order to save a life, he will do so, and submit himself for discipline afterward. In conversation he is polite, calm, and collected, never displaying malice or insulting others. While he does not support an 'innocent until proven methodology', he will give those whom he believes to be wronged a chance to prove their innocence. When it comes to being competitive, Mavros lacks the nature his brother has, using the moments as training or a test of his skills rather then any desire to win or be successful. He never balks at a task or objective, regardless of how difficult it might be, with a 'what must be done, must be done attitude.' While he is never rude, he does not hold his tongue for those who do not share his viewpoint, or do what he believes to be wrong, expressing his disappointment to them rather then anger. Still, no matter his relationship with an individual, he will ensure that he does what's right, no matter the cost to himself or anyone around him. History: Mavros was born alongside Lefko, his identical twin brother, into the militaristic Ariadne family. A prestigious military family in Atlas, with a legacy of service dating back to the Great War when it was still the Kingdom of Mantle, the Ariadne history held a strong history of military tradition. Like those before them, the boys father, Micah Ariadne, pursued a military career and became a high ranking officer in the Atlesian military. Their mother, Kerria, was a Huntress from Vale whom Micah fell in love with while assisting her on a hunt that took place within Atlas' bounds. From a young age, Mavros trained alongside his brother under the watchful supervision of their father, their lineage already ensuring their future career. Despite their mothers concerns of placing hardships on the children, Micah was determined they become military personnel like himself, or even go into Special Operations and serve Atlas to the best of their ability. Mavros and his brother Lefko soon developed into competent combatants, training in the standard weaponry of the Atlesian military. On top of this, he and his twin learned how to survive on their own, a skill put to the test when the two young siblings were left alone in the woods for a week by their father; albeit with close monitoring (from their mother at least) to ensure they were never in any real danger. They were kept on a strict diet at all times, and had very sparse comforts at home. Eventually, Mavros was slotted to go through a specialized military academy by their father alongside Lefko, against the wishes of their mother who wished for them to get a chance to see more of the world. Shipped off to Prometheus Academy, Mavros found that he thrived in the environment, where he developed a very strict definition of what was right and wrong. Unlike his brother however, Mavros found himself alienated from some of the other students due to his adherence at doing what he believed right, reporting misdoings to their superiors, and almost never finding himself in trouble himself. Mavros displayed an exceptional ability as a swordsman and marksman, to which he designed his weapon to complement his skills. Unlike his brother Lefko, despite his skills, Mavros never showed any desire for competition, believing that too much pride in ones abilities could be a downfall. His brother, with a strong competitive nature, had competed in the regional Atlas tournament however, coming out victorious in their third year at Prometheus Academy. At the order of his father, Mavros participated in the tournament the next year, despite his misgivings. In the final match of the tournament, Mavros found himself pitted against his brother, and despite knowing his brother's competitive spirit, he knew it would be wrong not to give the fight all he had. Ultimately defeating his brother in the one on one combat, though it earned him no friends, he was surprised to find a new found respect from his peers and brother in his display of ability. Though he had expected no less from his brother, Mavros and Lefko began to train more often to hone their abilities. With their graduation from Prometheus, Kerria finally put her foot down and demanded that Micah allow the boys to be sent to Beacon, to give them an opportunity to train as hunters away from the strictures of the military, in the hope they might have an a chance to make a decision on if they wanted to join the Atlesian military. Knowing of Ironwoods respect for Ozpin, and with a lesser concern after viewing how far his children had come, Micah finally relented relented to their mothers demands. The two applied to Beacon under their parents guidance, and found no surprise when they were accepted, prepared to complete their training in order to become Atlas Specialists. { Oliviaer Gainsboro } Profile:IC Talk Hex Code: a7a7a7 Name: Oliviaer Gainsboro (O-livi-air) Age: 18 Gender: Female Species: Human Birthplace: Atlas (formally known as The Kingdom of Mantle) Counterpart: The Black Knight Appearance:Height: 6’1” (185 cm) Weight: 154 lbs (70 kg) Eye Color: Phlox purple Build: Moderately tall yet firm, muscular without appearing too bulky. Hair Style:A complete mess grown out to shoulder length, with a long fringe across the right side. ( This minus the headband was as close as I could find to what I was aiming for.) Hair Color: Gainsboro grey. Skin Color: Fair, leaning on pale rather than tan due to the cold nature of her homeland. Distinguishing Features: Oliviaer has a brand on the left side of her collar, roughly 5 cm in diameter. The brand depicts a blade impaled through the crescent moon, the Gainsboro family crest. Attire: Whenever not in school uniform Oliviaer can be found in her combat uniform. This uniform is comprised of a simple dim grey long sleeved shirt and pants, with and intricately designed black and grey coat worn over the top. The back of the coat bares the Gainsboro family crest in its namesake colour and a layer of padding on the inside layer to provide both warmth and impact resistance. While this resistance isn’t exactly necessary, it reduces the strain on her aura ever so slightly, and the added weight doesn’t bother her. She also wears a gauntlet on her left arm, which allows her to better control her blade in combat without the risk of severing her own hand. Weapons and Abilities:Weapon: Brünstad A large weapon that appears to be a cross between a Greatsword and a Lance. While the weapon appears heavy and unwieldy, Oliviaer can carry and use it effectively with just one arm. The blade shares many properties with an executioner’s axe, often crushing and tearing rather than cleanly cutting through. The weapon is locked to Oliviaer’s arm, making it impossible to disarm her short of severing the whole arm, however remains in the form of a dark attaché case when not in use. The weapon was custom-built by the Gainsboro family for Oliviaer and she has been exceptionally well trained in its use. Alternate Type: A six-shot revolving Autocannon that fires dust, a weapon capable of powerful and rapid bursts, at the cost of a lengthy reload time and quick ammunition consumption. Equipment: Three drum magazines (one being pre-loaded) of lavender coloured dust (a mixture of fire dust and ice dust) which bursts into a searing hot vapour on contact with a target. She also regularly carries her scroll. She also regularly carries the case that extends out into her weapon. Abilities:Possessing an inhuman amount of strength required to wield her weapon effectively, Oliviaer is a merciless combatant who strikes down her foes with brutal force and carefully aimed blows in equal measure. Having been trained by many of The Family’s most skilled fighters, as well as some of the best trainers money can buy, she has learned to wield her weapon with devastating power and precision. She makes up for being a large target with her endurance and ruthless offense combined with surprising bursts of speed. Oliviaer’s fighting style aims to end fights quickly before her enemies can fully grasp her abilities and draw her into a space where her large weapon becomes a burden. Other Skills: Oliviaer is a surprisingly intelligent girl with a very high capacity for learning, however she lacks common sense in some areas simply due to the fact that they were never deemed necessary to teach her. She has also been taught etiquette by her father for formal occasions and is a rather diligent house-worker. Aura: Grey Semblance: Impact Pulse – Oliviaer’s semblance is an equally defensive and offensive ability that renders her immobile for a chosen amount of time (with a maximum of ten seconds) and impervious to all but the most destructive forces. During this time her gainsboro-grey hair her takes on a silvery sheen, and her aura becomes clearly visible around her. Attacks towards Oliviaer during this time are absorbed, stored as energy which is violently released in a spherical discharge around her. Depending on the strength of the attacks suffered during the shielded phase, enemies can suffer anything from being knocked off their feet to broken bones and internal damage. The amount of time spent shielded adds to the strength of the discharge, therefor quick bursts rarely yield enough strength to do serious harm to an enemy, however they can be very useful for negating small yet otherwise fatal attacks. Like most, Oliviaer’s semblance is not an unlimited well of power. It requires a large amount of concentration to use and maintain, and using it too much too often has proved detrimental for her own health. Personality: Oliviaer was brought up in a way that left little space for a personality of her own to flourish. She is, or at least believes herself to be, nothing more than a tool of her father’s will. As a result, she possess an iron discipline and a fierce sense of loyalty, however her upbringing has left her lacking in social skills resulting in her often coming off as a cold and indifferent person. While her fighting style may seem brutish she is surprisingly intelligent and is keenly perceptive of her surroundings. Sadly, whatever free will she may have is easily removed when The Family is brought into the equation, her loyalty closer to the borderline of servitude than any family bonds. She locks her own desires and will within a cage of iron to do her father’s bidding, although it’s possible that with enough time and interference her father’s hold over her may lessen. History:Oliviaer’s story begins with a family much older than herself, the Gainsboro family possessing a long and twisted tale of its own. Oliviaer has no living relatives besides her father, however the Gainsboro family is much larger than simply the two of them. For many generations the Gainsboros have been an infamous crime family amongst Mantle’s underworld, with a large hand in many industries and even a small hand in politics. However over the generations Atlas, as it is now known, became a more militaristic nation, with law and order being heavily reinforced throughout the land. The Gainsboros have been on the back foot ever since. Oliviaer never knew her mother, or her twin sister. While her own birth went off without a hitch, the second child was a miscarriage and took the life of both mother and child. Oliviaer’s father had no intention of treating her as his heir, not at least while he was still breathing, and he had other intentions for her. She was quickly taught two rules to live by: One – Never disrespect The Family. And two – Never disobey The Family. Oliviaer’s upbringing was strict. By the age of five she would wake up each day to do chores and receive tutoring, then at night she would return to an empty room with naught but a bed and a blanket. She didn’t ask for anything and she didn’t talk back, she quickly found they resulted in suffering. Her childhood continued on in the same way for many years, more and more being added to her list of chores; housework, exercise, tutoring, swordplay, etiquette, and finally aura. Aura was the most difficult, and Oliviaer’s abilities didn’t begin to manifest until she was entering her teens. Her aura granted her an increased vitality and endurance, as well as vastly improved her physical strength. Her semblance however, was not an inherited ability, and her father never found an adequate teacher to teach her how to properly use it. Still, she began practising each night in her room, and slowly improved herself over the years as she gained more experience with real combat. During one particular sparing session she was determined to use her ability to negate every hit she received, and she did so, timing the ability perfectly with each attack. However such high use of the ability within such a short amount of time did more damage to her than her sparring partner ever could, and she was left hospitalized for several weeks. Once Oliviaer’s aura manifested, her father had a weapon capable of utilising her training and her strength crafted for her. The weapon was given the name Brünstad, and when he gave the weapon to her as a gift began to explain his goal. With Atlas’ increased military strength, the Gainsboro family was withering and dying. Their operations were more limited with each year, and they had been reduced so much in size that The Family would surely be doomed if they were caught. And so Oliviaer’s father decided that it was time for a little ‘aggressive expansion’. Prior operations in the other nations had always been small time for The Family, but now was the time to upgrade those small outposts into fully fledged branches. The one issue, the one nail in the floor, the one problem with her father’s plan was The Kingdom of Vale. Vale, with its close proximity to the Mountain Glenn area, had a very high concentration of Hunters and Huntresses. Oliviaer’s father reasoned that if one of their own became a Hunter or Huntress, they’d be able to deal with any ‘hiccups’ in their operation. Her purpose was to fit this role, and to crush any that opposed The Family. Oliviaer didn’t know whether the plan was right or wrong, good or evil or anything else. She didn’t know if she wanted to fill this role or if she wanted to crush those who opposed the Gainsboro family. All she knew was that her father had told her to do something. The Family had told her to do something. “Never disobey The Family.” Through the following years Oliviaer grew, and as she grew older she grew stronger, faster and tougher. The hulking behemoth of a weapon; Brünstad was once larger than she was, but she continued training as instructed and eventually the weapon felt like little more than a large stick in her hand. She recalled her first attempts at using the weapon; it was so large and unwieldy, it was all she could do to just keep a hold of it while swinging. After several incidents where she would have to catch the blade in her free hand to slow its momentum she would return to her father with broken bones and deep gashes in her hand. Eventually her father had a powerful gauntlet made for Oliviaer to prevent this. Not only did the gauntlet prevent Oliviaer from injuring herself with her own blade, but allowed her to use even her fist as a devastatingly effective weapon. Oliviaer flourished into a young woman, almost matching her father in height by seventeen. She continued training daily, and would sometimes hunt what few Grimm clung to the outskirts of the nation of Atlas, meanwhile her father and other members of The Family had already begun using all sorts of connections to legitimise false documents and information for her enrolment. Oliviaer’s father however still had doubts. It was not so much a lack of trust in his daughter’s obedience; she had barely disobeyed him once in the past decade. No, he was concerned about her willpower. Mr Gainsboro had dirtied his hands many times since his own father had introduced him to The Family, but after all was said and done Oliviaer was still just a young woman. He knew that if the chance ever did occur that he would need his daughter to deal with someone in order to hide The Family’s expansion into Vale, he couldn’t take the chance that she wouldn’t be able to go through with it. Her resolve needed to be put to the test. The task Oliviaer’s father gave her was a simple one: Months prior a ‘customer’ of The Family had taken out a small loan and skipped town before he was supposed to pay it back. Oliviaer was tasked with sending the message to any repeat incidents that the Gainsboro family were not push-overs. The Family’s goons had already tracked the man down to a town on the western coast of Atlas, and soon after she left her father’s estate with a small black case in hand. Within a couple of days Oliviaer arrived at the location. The town was an old fishing village that had expanded. This resulted in the town being divided between the old town, more akin to slums due to a lack of maintenance, and the modern half of the town. These slums bore very few inhabitants, making it the ideal location to hide. Oliviaer soon tracked the man down to a large shack beside the shore in the old town, and quickly made her move. The man hardly seemed surprised when she knocked on his door, Brünstad in hand. He admitted to having gambled away the money and had no way to pay it back, his little show of resistance to The Family simply being a last ditch effort to avoid his fate. The man knew what to expect and resigned himself to death. For the first time in many years Oliviaer was hesitant. She had done many things during her time in The Family, but she had never taken a life. This was something she was not sure even she could handle. She stared at the man for the longest time, whom had chosen to stand by the window and watch the ocean in his final moments. For the first time she struggled within herself, questioning her actions and her service to her father until her attention was drawn to her weapon. Her mind cleared itself as she spoke quietly to herself, reciting the rules she had lived by up until that point. “One – Never disrespect The Family.” She raised her weapon towards her target. “Two – Never disobey The Family.” Law enforcement never found the second half of the body. Oliviaer was welcome home with celebration in the days following, both on her success and her acceptance into Beacon. Later that night she received a brand on her left collar, displaying the insignia of the Gainsboro family, and was considered a fully-fledged member of the organization. She continued to stay with The Family for several more months, training and occasionally doing small jobs for her father, before she departed for Vale. She stayed in the kingdom for three weeks prior to the beginning of the academy’s school year, mainly to get the lay of the land and learn her surroundings, until the day when her first day of schooling began. She was almost excited for the occasion. Vacuo Characters Player Characters
{ Midas Afi } Profile:IC Talk Hex Code: e2be00 Name:Midas Afi Age: 18 Gender: Male Species: Human Birthplace: Vacuo Counterpart: King Midas Appearance:Height: 1.76 meters Weight: 65 kilograms Eye Color: Deep Brown Build: Scrawny Hair Style: Messy Hair Color: Deep Brown Skin Color: Olive (White) Distinguishing Features: Deep burn mark in the right hand Attire: Coming from a wealthy upbringing Midas became quite accustomed to wearing a suite around most places he went, and naturally he decided to wear one (Not pictured - are Midas' matching brown dress pants, and brown dress shoes), additionally Midas wears brown aviator gloves, under his right glove he wears bandages which cover up his burn mark, and finally Midas often wears aviator goggles while in flight to prevent pesky bugs from flying into his mouth. Weapons and Abilities:Weapon: Ambivalence of Light Midas' pride and joy, the weapon he created himself as a young student are his specially crafted duel swords, they are approximately the length of naval cutlasses (Which were shorter than most standard cutlasses) the blade is composed of smaller individual blades which protrude from the blunt back of the sword, these individual blades make one continuous cutting edge all together, and point diagonally towards the handle, which is comprised of a thinner metal, and leather grip, with a much harder metal handle guard which is rather bulky and covers much of the hand, both of these swords fit into a scabbard on Midas' back, which is comprised of similar metal to the sword, the blunt edge of which acts as one exterior half of the scabbard. These scabbards when activated fold out into long wings, the blunt end forms the top of the wings, while the individual blades become slightly more jagged as they are split apart, and form the "Feathers" of the newly made wings (similarly to that pictured, the "feathers" or blades of the wings, and sword are a white metal, while the blunt ends, and the handles are made of a golden metal) These mechanical wings are quite bulky, but assist in flight, and double as dangerous weapons, as the "feathers" are incredibly smart and can be used both to shield midas, and slice up his enemies from the air. Equipment: Midas keeps tools on a belt for maintaining his weapon, he also keeps his school sanctioned scroll on his person, as well as lightning, and gravity dust on his utility belt. Abilities: Midas was trained in a small academy in Vacuo, and developed his abilities closely with his weapons which have become effectively part of his body, while using his semblance Midas is prone to being highly aggressive and incredibly agile, bouncing from opponent to opponent while in flight, using both his wings, and his extremities to fight off enemies, without his semblance he is much more evasive of his targets, and will prefer to dodge attacks until his enemy is exhausted. While on foot he is quite accustomed to sword based combat, and will usually try to confuse his opponent, as he is often no match for a one on one fight, he relies heavily on his ability to fight intuitively; using his environment to his advantage in an attempt to get any form of edge he can over his opponent. Other Skills: Midas is incredibly well equipped to repair, and create machinery, and is additionally good at accounting - a skill he picked up from his father. Aura: Gold Semblance: "The Golden Touch" - Midas has the ability to absorb energy from dust when he comes into contact with it, to be used in fueling his own raw energy, and his aura. Without this ability Midas is often left useless on the battlefield. Personality:While Midas may come from an expensive upbringing he has little taste for formality, patience, or even manners, and the only true attribute he picked up from his well off family was his lust for fortune, and his insatiable appetite for shiny things, his first sense of morality, and his seperation of right and wrong came from his father, and since then he has developed his own form of... justice. Beyond this Midas has a very split personality, while not using his semblance he has an incredible wit, and is tactically brilliant on the battlefield, and would pride himself on his intelligence if it wasn't for his extreme cowardice, and his common underestimation of his own abilities, however while using his semblance a lot of this intelligence, and tactical brilliance can be thrown out the window for extreme confidence, bravery, and brute force combat style, inclining Midas towards a chop first ask questions later mentality, though he does all of this with intense agility, and dexterity on land, and in the air. History:Midas came from a town right on the outskirts of shade academy, his father was a very successful banker, and his mother a very talented seamstress. Family life was typically strange as for much of his young life neither of his parents were ever home, going off in their busy lives, the child was left to tinker a lone at home with anything he could get his hands on, he even managed to build a glider one day out of scrap pieces of cloth from his mothers designs, and metal coat hangers. Family life only became more strained after an incident in the hot summer sands of Vacuo, his mother had become lost out in the sands after becoming lost in one of the neighboring cities, she was chased only further into the desert after a run in with a rather large grimm scorpion, and was lost for nearly 3 days, when a rescue team finally found her she was entirely delirious, and doctors figured it was from heat stroke and dehydration, but the symptoms of delirium never quite disappeared, causing the women to mumble perpetually to herself, making rapid head motions seeming to look for her way out of the desert she had departed from long ago. The family moved into one of the larger cities in Vacuo, where business surged even further for his father, and where his mother could be further from the haunting desert (Though her delusions never quite faded), Midas was excited for the opportunity, and was able to begin studying at a prestigious academy, but in his youth he was quickly turned to a different pursuit, beyond the typical knowledge of his peers, he sought adventure, and heroism, he saw a land torn apart, a kingdom in ruins brought to its knees by the creatures of grimm, he was raised outright with a sense of justice, and felt personally devoted against such creatures, this attitude empowered him to convince his father to allow him on to the path of a huntsmen. While he was often second-rate in combat, his abilities as a tactician, a mechanic, and a mathematician shines through, and kept him afloat with his more combat-oriented peers. It was not long into his studies that he became interested in developing his very own weapon, as he knew it would be a necessity for any huntsmen, his father as supportive as ever helped him pay for the parts, and managed to scrap together the shiniest of metals, and the sharpest of blades, his initial design came from one of his early glider contraptions, and combined the fire power of mortars with the fury of the skies. The design however was an utter failure, and was far too heavy, he toiled constantly on designs, even tinkering with a jet propulsion system in the wings powered by dust, however while building this, his design discharged dust unexpectedly, and severely burnt his right hand while tinkering. He showed his parents, and his father was terribly concerned, his mother for the first time in years was left speechless, and seemed to actually look in one direction for a longer period of time, while her eyes starred off towards his hand, she met his grip, and felt the burn, shortly there after she burst into tears, and was thrown into a panic, both were sent immediately to be hospitalized, Midas was sent to have his hand taken care of, and his mother was sent to a mental institution for further examinations. It took months to refine his design from here, and he finally settled on a design shortly after discovering his semblance for the first time while in class, he was able to control the mechanical wings he created, through his own raw energy and aura, this increased his combat readiness ten fold, and got him noticed by proctors from shade academy though time in his small desert home had made Midas weary, memories of his mother only made him depressed, and he felt a greater calling elsewhere, he was later allowed into Beacon academy, he waits excitedly now, for a new home, in a new environment. Mistral Characters Player Characters
{ Tsusny Sarnai } Profile:IC Talk Hex Code: 7e3517 Name: Tsusny Sarnai Age: 18 Gender: Female Species: Faunus Birthplace: Mistral Counterpart: Atilla Appearance:Height: 1.69 Meters Weight: 65 Kilograms Eye Color: Deep Red Build: Lean Hair Style: Coarse, rough, and very long Hair Color: Dark black, and grainy Skin Color: Tanned Distinguishing Features: 3 parallel diagonal scratch marks on her cheek Attire: Tsusny’s armor was hand crafted by her father in the sweltering heat of their forefathers, it was forged from the finest metals collected by her tribe. Made of her spirit, and captured by the ferocity in her heart, and cooled in the lake she was born in, it consists of a large metal breastplate which covers much of her chest, and torso, which continues down into a leather combat skirt, many of the straps of which have since been reduced tatters, her legs are also covered partially by a thick metal at her shins, and knees, and additionally the armor has spaulders for shoulder protection, as well as hefty metal gauntlets, with razor sharp spikes which stretch to represent her ferocity in combat. The Armor used to also contain a short cloak, and hood, the cloak has since been reduced to tatters, most of which still remain, and flow in the breeze as she runs, the hood has survived the test of time, and rarely ever leaves her head. (Her armor is as depicted below, though disregard the weapons). Weapons and Abilities:Weapon: Süirliin Tsusny’s weapon was one crafted of light, yet sturdy metals which have seen their fair use over the years. It consists simply of a long chain whip which when held at her chest, the dart (sharp metal end of the whip) rests an inch above the ground, the whip has a single red tassle tied so that the bottom of the tassle reaches the top of the dart, this is to confuse enemies, causing them to believe the end of the whip is about 4 inches shorter than it really is. Her weapon is specially made with a thin wire woven through the chain, connecting the handle to the dart, the handle of her weapon contains a rotating handle with various types of dust that can be activated, when activated these dust channels follow the wire as a dust conduit to the dart, which funnels the dust into devastating effects. Additionally the whips section links are pushed together connecting with each other to stiffen and harden into a recurve bow, the dust conduit wire can then be pulled out from the chain and acts as the string of the bow for firing dust arrows which she keeps in a quiver on her back. Equipment: A quiver which contains arrows of various dust types (Holds up to approximately 20 arrows at a time. Additionally she keeps assorted varieties of dust on her person at all times, and her own personal scroll Abilities: Like most faunus; Tsusny has night vision, she is also incredibly well trained in the use of her weapon, and can use it with deadly accuracy, she is very limber, flexible, and agile, yet surprisingly strong for her size. Tsusny is a known hunter, and has survived on her own in the wilderness for months at a time in the past. Other Skills: She has an excellent sense of smell, and hearing Aura: Blood Red Semblance: Dance of the Whirlwind Tsusny’s semblance allows her to augment wind, using it to rush around her body with her aura, she uses this in a number ways; to create barriers of wind around herself that can redirect some projectiles, using it to guide her own projectiles in air, curving their flight pattern, using it to spin her whip at inhuman speeds, and other assortments of devastating effects. Personality: While mostly very serious Tsusny does have a lighter side, and has a deep burning passion, and loyalty to those she considers to be part of her “tribe” and would care for anyone she deems worthy of her protection, she fights everyday for honor, and prestige, and rarely finds time to relax; often spending most of her time sparring, honing her abilities with her weapon, and perfecting her craft. History:Tsusny was born of a small tribe of nomadic faunus in the swampland's of Mistral, their people were forced out of the bustling cities, and into the shadows, but carried on a spirit of fellowship which propelled them through the lands, hunting, and tracking their way around the continent in search of a better life for the people who made up their caravan, Tsusny was born in a marsh from her mother - a berry picker - and her father - a blacksmith - and her father had big dreams for his daughter after her birth, knowing that her life would be dedicated to protecting the tribe from the evils of the outside world, from her conception, and birth her father forged the armor she would wear at her maturity, and the weapons she would wield in combat. Though the tribes had felt hardship in the past, due to persecution they figured their worst times were behind them, and Tsusny’s parents figured their daughter would grow up in a world without such persecution, regardless they raised her with an iron spirit, teaching her to use her body as a weapon from a young age, not even allowing her to touch the weapon she would use until she was an expert at an old forgotten unarmed martial art that was past down through word of mouth in their tribe. While conditions were getting better in the tribe, food was abundant, and pestilence was at a minimum, but threats from the outside world were beginning to pop-up again, one day when a group of the tribes merchants returned from trading they were found horribly beaten, with one among their ranks savagely killed, weeks later while traveling through a long forgotten road on the outskirts of mistral the tribe was attacked head on by a group well known for persecuting faunus, the engagement did not last long, and largely targeted weaker members of the group, only a few days afterwards on their way out of the dastardly land they had come across the tribe settled down for the night, and Tsusny wandered off in the late hours as she was quite accustomed to and found a patch of bramble that she snuggled into and slept not far from the tribe. When she woke she found her tribe's camp on fire, bodies covered the ground, and messages written in the dirt outlined a deep hatred for the faunus who had walked through their territory, Tsusny found her parents among the wreckage, and in her grief was forced to collect anything she could get her hands on for protection, she grabbed the armor, which was still too large for her, and the weapon her dad had cast for her, she went for their food reserves and grabbed what remained of their supply, she headed off into the forest, and hid from sight for a night. She was not found by the hatemongers. Tsusny lived in the forest for weeks at a time, hunting for her own survival, and collecting the edible berries in her vicinity. Eventually she resolved herself to seek out the protection of the inner cities of mistral, it took her days to track down the location of a city, and even more time to travel within its walls. She was welcomed into the community, and was picked off the streets by a local foster. The child bearer saw potential in the young girl, and knew that her place was not cooped up in the house with the rest of the orphans, she listened to the girls pleads wishing to be enrolled at a combat school, after trying out for several schools she was shockingly accepted into the prestigious Sanctum Academy. She trained there for years, and nearing her final year she began longing for closure with her family, and her tribe, she resigned herself to sneaking out of the orphanage where she was raised, and went searching for what remained of her tribe, while out in the wilderness she became dazed and lost, with little in the way of food, at her darkest point in this journey, she found herself in a deep cave holding on to life, having finally found food, the fear she felt sitting next to her makeshift shelter acted a lure, for a rogue beowulf, the creature of grimm quickly made it’s way to the cave she was staying in where it cornered her, summoning the remainder of her strength, she pulled out Süirliin, and began spinning it rapidly in its whip form, the beowulf was cautious, and approached the girl slowly, unfortunately however for Tsusny she overestimated the size of height of the cave, and her whip hit the ceiling of the shelter, causing it to fall out of spin, the beowulf used this to its advantage, pouncing directly towards Tsusny, it quickly slashed at her face with its mighty claws opening the flesh on her cheek, she was freightened by the mere sight of her blood, and pulled her weapon back out into a much smaller spin, rotating the weapon delicately around her neck, and in one last bout of fear, anger, and uncertainty she twisted the whip around her body, and bifurcated the beowulf, as its body slowly dissipated Tsusny fell to her knees in tears. The girl remained in the cave for the rest of the night, and crawled out the next morning, clutching to her last breath, she stumbled her way back to a small dirt road, where she was found by a group of traveling merchants, who returned her to town, she eventually made her way back to her foster parents, who were worried nearly to death, she promptly returned to combat school, and finished her training, at the reluctance of her foster parents. She eventually came to the age that she was able to leave the people in her foster care, thanking them deeply for the love they gave to her, but informing them, that she wasn’t meant to stay; she had been accepted into beacon academy for her excellent marks in combat, and promptly moved their upon the news of her acceptance. Tsusny lived in vale on her own trading protection for food, and sustainability, waiting for her first day at the academy of Beacon. Unaffiliated Characters and Locations Player Characters
NPC Characters - Heavily Restricted Canon Characters{ Blake Belladonna} Counterpart: Belle Semblance: Shadow Clone Weapon: Gambol Shroud - Katana/Cleaver/Pistol/Kursarigama Additional Info: Blake's Wiki Page{ Raven Branwen} Counterpart: Unknown, but there are several possibilities based on the origin of the characters last name, her teamates potential counterparts, and their relationship to Ozpin. The first possibility is that her counterpart takes the form of one of the witches from the Wizard of Oz. The second, is the origin of her last name, Branwen, which comes from the story Mabinogion. Branwen brings ruin to in an attempt to bring peace, which would be further supported by the theory that it was from her that Adam Taurus recieved his training. The final possibility is a poem about Huginn and Muninn, two ravens from Norse mythology, which would also match a team motif if the only counterpart of Summer Rose is the origin of her name, a poem. Semblance: Unknown, but it possibly relates to the scene in which she is seen to create a sort of portal in order to leave a train set on a crash course. Weapon: Katana/Odachi Additional Info: Raven's Wiki Page{ Adam Taurus} Counterpart: Beast Semblance: Moonslice Weapon: Wilt and Blush - Chokutō/Rifle Additional Info: Adam's Wiki Page{ Salem} Counterpart: Based on her relationship to Ozpin, and her name being a reference to witches, Salem's counterpart is likely that of the Wicked Witch of the West Semblance: Unknown Weapon: Unknown Additional Info: Salem's Wiki Page{ Cinder Fall} Counterpart: Cinderella Semblance: Cinder's semblance seems to be extensive manipulation of fire, including forming glass shards out of ash, incinerating objects at a touch, and creating fiery explosions where her arrows land. Furthermore, Cinder has gained the power of the fall maiden, and all the abilities that come with it. Weapon: Cinder's Weapon seems to be some type of manipulate-able dust-based bow/scimitar, that seems to be made of volcanic glass. Based on unconvential weapons used by other characters in the series, it is also possible that this weapon is only an extension of her true weapon, which may actually be her dust imbued clothing, which she is able to manipulate into different forms at will, and which glows whenever she is using one of her abilities. Additional Info: Cinder's Wiki PageDeath: It is unclear whether Cinder Fall survived the events at the Battle of Beacon, but it is unlikely like she was frozen along with the Dragon, due to there being no mention of her after Ruby uses the ability associated with her silver eyes. While it is also unlikely the ability killed her, it could have gravely wounded her, and for the moment she should be treated as missing, similarly to Ozpin, until volume 4 of the web series is released. { Neopolitan} Counterpart: It is unclear what exactly her counterpart is, though it has been confirmed that it is not the Cheshire Cat. Other possibilities include Mary Poppins, based on her weapon of choice, or a simpler counterpart of Neapolitan Ice Cream, based on her appearance. Semblance: Illusions Weapon: Umbrella/Estoc/Shield Additional Info: Neo's Wiki Page{ Emerald Sustrai} Counterpart: Aladdin Semblance: Hallucinations Weapon: Revolvers/Sickles/Kusarigamas Additional Info: Emerald's Wiki Page{ Mercury Black} Counterpart: Mercury Semblance: Unknown Weapon: Gun Boots Additional Info: Mercury's Wiki Page{ Roman Torchwick} Counterpart: Romeo Candlewick, from Pinnochio Semblance: Unknown Weapon: Melodic Cudgel - Cane/Flare Gun/Grappling Hook Additional Info: Roman's Wiki Page Death: Roman Torchwick is devoured whole by a Griffon during his battle with Ruby Rose atop an airship during the Battle of Beacon, implying his demise. { Amber} Counterpart: Unknown, though it's possible her counterpart was something as simple as being one of the four seasons. Semblance: As the Fall Maiden, it is unclear which of her abilities were from her semblance, and which were powers of the Fall Maiden. Weapon: Staff Additional Info: Amber's Wiki PageDeath: Amber was killed by Cinder Fall, during a failed attempt to transfer her the powers of the Fall Maiden to Pyrrha Nikos User Created Characters{ Pitch Camrebrov} Creator: ImmortalUndeath Counterpart: Crooked Man Semblance: Weapon: Additional Info: {Mayonaka Azakawa} Creator: ImmortalUndeath Counterpart: Living Shadow Semblance: Shadow walk Weapon: Pipe Tomahawks/Double Kusarigama/.50 S&W Magnums Additional Info: Third year student at Beacon.
