Michael was a Boot Rider when they still existed, and lived a tribal lifestyle for his infancy. He was good with a knife, particularly the Balisong, which he still uses to this day. While being taught how to use a weapon by his father, he was amazed at how good he could unsheath and sheath his balisong knife. While only 10, he would amaze and teach kids how to do it.
By '74, Michael was 19 and a good fighter, although not an aggressive soul. Bingo said that Securitrons had offered them a deal. Michael had no choice but to agree, although it was a good deal for them. They were given the Tops casino, and Michael was a greeter at the front desk. When Benny took over the Chairmen, Michael was promoted to Trade Relations, as he was suave, and good at reeling others in.
Michael loved his job now, and had parties frequently, and was good with the ladies. His life was sky high now, the Chairmen had good trade relations thanks to him, and a lot of them paid respect to him. He got a bit scared when word of the Battle of Hoover Dam reached them, he was afraid that the NCR was going to lose, and that the Strip would turn over to Caesar's Legion, and they'd all be enslaved. This doubt was removed with word of their defeat.
2281 was a strange year for the Chairmen, Benny got quite distant, and then he was killed. It was a strange affair, but Michael always preferred Swank anyway, Benny was quite full of himself, as were all Chairmen, but Benny was the most stuck up. Swank was a good man though. It was around this time that Michael started working with Spencer Evans after the second Battle of Hoover Dam, trying to improve trade relations with the NCR.
