Swindon woke up as the door opened, in turn, making Cuddles wake up. The cat didn't look happy to be woken up from it's slumber, though it had to blame someone, it stared up at it's owner in disagreement to the act. Swindon, however, had her bright blue eyes blinking at the man who woke her. He walked up to her before she able to recover from waking up, saying nothing as he introduced himself and showed her the recording.
"I haven't heard, sadly.. I don't own any sort of device at home or in here" Swindon said sadly, making aware to the officer she knew nothing about the murder. "I know what a senator is, though! .. Must have had a lot of firepower to attack a senator..." said the clueless mechanic, almost dreamily.
He then asked her if she had anything to admit- the typical tactic of a detective to get guilt out of a victim or villain alike. In the current circumstance, Swindon was neither. After a moment, she spoke, softly and chirpy as ever, regardless of the circumstances. "My name is Sw-" And then her mind clicked. Despite all that she knew, Swindon was, in some ways, clever. Perhaps not clever in the moment, but as her customer told her- think on it. Swindon had thought for a long while before falling asleep, and the thoughts were fresh on her mind.. "Sweden!" said Sweden, happily. "I'm the mechanic here, as you can see from the sign outside. You got it all wrong! You see-" She went over to the speeder, slowly, tapping it. During walking over, Swindon quickly thought about the next lie she needed to blurt out. "This is a 797-AvA Swooper Bike, produced Aratech Repulsor Company! The... Museum of Technology needed it repaired for a demonstration in an upcoming event, you see. All secret at the moment, most of their Galactic Empire vehicles are in disarray. I fell asleep after repairing this one! Took me all night!" She smiled warmly, putting the worried lie behind a facade of happiness that she actually enjoyed working for a Museum that she went to as a child. All good lies have an element of truth, after all... weather or not the bike was used by the Galactic Empire or not was another matter. Swindon didn't know. She only knew the make of the Speederbike as she was repairing it, due to the control panel coming online and telling her!
"There are dozens of Speeder bikes around Coruscant, Detective... I'm sorry this isn't the one you were looking for." She frowned a bit as this. What was she even doing? It wasn't about the money, it was never about the money. Maybe it was the opportunity to lie to an officer, or the feeling it gave her that she loved. It quickly occurred to her that if he checked the Museum, if it still existed, she could easily be found out. All Swindon could do was hope the customer came to get the bike and left with it before then- but what about her? Cuddles, as a comforting distraction, rubbed itself against the detectives foot, seeking attention during this ordeal.
All while the box on the floor pulsed with the red energy from within it...
(Thanks for the new image <3 I don't normally use Devientart, get lost in it! It means a lot to me that you found a picture for it! :D)

At first, Swindon was very uncertain if the customer was building up a rant, or worse. The fact she was working on it during the repair of his speederbike made her even more uncertain. When he spoke in his own language, Swindon winced. A language she didn't know! And to make matters worse, she couldn't tell if it was on a negative or positive tone. She took comfort in looking down for a moment, breathing out, trying to stay calm. Then he stated the 'millions' part and Swindon's face went pale. "Wha-"Unfortunately for Swindon, she thought such things, self-sufficient, already existed. Was she wrong? When he began walking away, Swindon looked down tiredly at the pulsing box, parts of a speederbike and the customers Speederbike, simply hovering there. It took a moment for her to get over the initial shock. "...r-right" she confirmed silently, leaning down and picking up the slave circuits he got her and began to quickly get to work on the control panel of the speederbike, leaning over the bike itself to get it fixed, the bike barely moving under her (very little) weight. She allowed the man/woman/droid/it to leave without another interaction, getting on with work. As she continued to repair the bike, thoughts fried Swindon's mind. He offered her a job- or, at least, an interview- for simply repairing a bike and creating a box that may or may not work, just pulsing so far.. But a job? It was hard enough getting a job as a mechanic a few years ago- was she going up or down from here? Why was she even considering it? ...Because the "boss" kept stealing all her credits, she quickly reminded herself... no wonder she didn't weigh a thing, she could only afford to barely feed herself and Cuddles! Swindon spent all night, as she promised, working on the Speederbike, replacing the seat (an easy job), repairing the controls and hooking up the slave circuits around the bike and plugging in the power pack so that the entire Speederbike roared with life. Just to be safe, Swindon rode it around the garage twice, just to be certain it worked- slowly, of course- and much to her happiness, it did. Of course, Swindon was going to have to walk home today. And the next day, walk to work. And walk again. Her own bike was completely gone... just a skeleton what was once was her bike on the floor, parts used to repair the customers bike. All while Cuddles was silently watching and sleeping from under the tool cabinet. The next morning...When the sun rose over Coruscant, Swindon was asleep. She had fixed the bike in the early hours of the morning... and from then, she decided it was safe to fall asleep. She sat quietly, rather comfortably, in a chair in the middle of the garage, Cuddles (ironically) cuddled up to her on her lap. The Speederbike was hovering close by, repaired and cleaned, looking reasonably in good shape. Only difference now was the control-panel was now bright purple for some reason. And on the floor, sitting there unmoved and untouched, the box no longer pulsed.. It looked... red.

She paid no mind while he took his call. Standing, Cuddles followed her over to a toolbox where she began putting some tools away. Privacy was something Swindon knew- despite the fact she didn't find herself (unless naked or getting dressed) needing privacy for anything. It was something she easily picked up upon while working in a canteen- how certain people, both good and bad, took credit in having privacy to conduct their business, be it a secret (or obvious) lover to hiring a bounty hunter. All those exciting things. Things that Swindon couldn't take part in, thus, exciting. Cuddles waltzed under the tool cabinet and curled up into a ball, closing it's eyes and drifting to an unconscious state, happily purring quietly.
As he came back over, Swindon gave him a smile- though she knew he didn't see it. You don't need to see someone's face to know when they have looked at you or not. This character, whoever he was, had a lot on his mind. Because of this, she didn't ask if anything was wrong (which Swindon knew was a stupid question, but it started a conversation) or if he needed anything else than what was already asked. When his attention shifted to the box... It was almost like Swindon bursted like a bubble of joy. Her body stayed perfectly still, while her head nodded a few times and excitedly smiled in happiness.
"It's sort of like a power pack" she tried to explain. "But much smaller, only able to carry so much. The benefit of this one is that it self-powers... The.. idea came to me while fixing your bike. It's only a prototype! ...I just wanted to test to see if it'd work.... and... well, it's pulsing right now. That's good, right?" Swindon really wasn't sure of herself. Her tone said it all, and her appearance and occupation as a mechanic didn't make her seem like any scientist or inventor. If the box was pulsing as a good thing or a bad thing, the inventor of the box didn't know. It simply sat there, pulsing. "D-Don't worry about the speederbike! I'll have it fixed by morning, I hope!"

I wholeheartedly agree =) If you suddenly become busy during the proesses of making a bio, either leave it in a tab ready to finish for later or copy and paste it into a Google Document: www.google.com/docs/about/Or maybe a Word Document, whatever takes your fancy ;D Forums often get clogged up with unfinished W.I.P and the memory fills up if the W.I.P's aren't deleted. It becomes a very serious problem for website owners who fall victim to this.

I don't, in any way, expect this to be accepted... I'm just hoping you pick idea's from this and use it in the websites canon lore =) I cannot actually continue Project Curator until The Commonwealth lore is unleashed! ;o So I'm hoping this helps gather some idea's or inspiration.
P.S. This took me over 5 hours without a break ;~;
The Commonwealth, 2290: Formally known as the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, it is home to some of the most advanced technology from the pre-war world within what remains of apocalyptic America. Three years after the all-out war between the Capital Wasteland's very own Brotherhood of Steel, the Institute, Railroad and Minutemen, the Commonwealth today is a land in ruin from the Great War... and the war on synths. The year is 2290, three years after the Sole Survivor left Vault 111 and changed the fate of the Commonwealth.
History: In 2287 (the events of Fallout 4), it all began with the Quincy Massacre and The Switchboard evacuation. With both Minutemen and Railroad left in desperate ruin, The Institute are feared by everyone in The Commonwealth, lurking in the minds of everyone. Diamond City shields itself from the outside world as the last "safe haven" inside the Commonwealth. When the Sole Survivor left Vault 111 on October 23rd in search of their son, the legend of the Sole Survivor spread as history began to take a turn for the ugliest war between factions since The Brotherhood defeated The Enclave in 2277. Working to build up The Minutemen, the Sole Survivor begins to unite the native Commonwealth wastelanders and settlements in hopes to find The Institute and rescue their son.
Things get heated when the Brotherhood of Steel, lead by Elder Maxson, show up in The Commonwealth with The Prydwen. They claimed to be fighting The Institute to destroy all synths created, but things got complicated when they began opening fire on settlements such as The Slog and Goodneighbor (due to the ghouls who reside there). Due to the Brotherhood's codex and difference in views compared to the Minutemen's and Railroad's, it delayed progress on the war against The Institute. A treaty between The Minutemen and Railroad was formed... and they agreed to remove the invading Brotherhood from The Commonwealth. During the later days of November, between the 25th and the 28th, the Minutemen (with the aid of the Railroad) and The Brotherhood went to war, ending on the 28th with The Castle's artillery destroying The Prydwen. Some of the Brotherhood managed to escape The Commonwealth on vertibirds, including Elder Maxson, Proctor Teagan and Proctor Quinlan. Others, however, went down with The Prydwen (most notably Captain Kells who went down with the ship), others died fighting at The Castle afterwards (including, but not limited to, Proctor Ingram, Knight-Captain Kade and Paladin Brandis). The Minutemen were seen as heroes of The Commonwealth for defeating The Brotherhood of Steel, whom returned to The Capital Wasteland.
With support from most of The Commonwealth, The Minutemen and Railroad worked together to defeat The Institute once and for all. They worked together to create a teleporter for the Sole Survivor to enter The Institute. After finding an escaped Institute scientist and defeating a Courser, the teleporter was built in The Castle. After entering The Institute, The Sole Survivor was reunited with their son, Shaun, now known as Father. This caused a dramatic change of events. Reunited with their son finally, overcome with emotions, the Sole Survivor began to understand The Institute and began to work for them. The Railroad quickly found out after spotting the Sole Survivor with a Courser at Libertalia and altered The Minutemen. Heartbroken by the betrayal, Preston Garvey became the leader of The Minutemen alongside Ronnie Shaw's council.
The war between The Institute and The Minutemen came to a stand still when The Railroad, located at Old North Church, was destroyed early December 2287. Many were killed- Tinker Tom, Desdemona, Glory- P.A.M was taken back to The Institute for re-purpose. Deacon and Drummer Boy managed to survive and escape to The Castle where they quickly got resources from The Minutemen to rebuild The Railroad... but the progress would be slow. They founded a new headquarters in Vault 75 in Malden.
In early 2288, after a Christmas celebration from both factions, Shaun died from illness and the Sole Survivor became the leader of The Institute. Because of this, the war between both factions came to a halt. While The Institute was still making synths and experimenting, they did no longer directly attack The Minutemen or The Commonwealth unless directly provoked, taking a more passive turn in The Commonwealth. The Minutemen, noticing the lack of Institute attacks, began taking care of Raider's and more obvious threats across The Commonwealth.
In mid 2289, The Minutemen declared war on The Gunners. This war began due to The Minutemen finding out about the truth behind the Quincy Massacre and their constant attacks on settlements around The Commonwealth. Also during 2289, The Minutemen had a large scale campaign with the aid of Goodneighbour to rid Boston Ruins of the Super Mutants that infested it. This campaign was of limited success, for most Super Mutants simply moved to Cambridge, while others reside in Boston's tallest skyscrapers. The war between The Minutemen and the Gunners has moved into 2290 and is still going on today.
Factions:
The Minutemen: Having regained their numbers after the Quincy Massacre with undeniable aid from the Sole Survivor late 2287, The Minutemen are extremely powerful in numbers, with the sole goal of protecting settlements across The Commonwealth and removing any threats. Under the leadership of Preston Garvey and the slowly aged Ronnie Shaw, The Minutemen are widespread across The Commonwealth, helping where they can. They are at war with the unknown Institute and more active Gunners. In numbers, The Minutemen dominate. In weaponry, aside from artillery, they manufacture Laser Muskets as standard weaponry at The Castle, which is The Minutemen's head of operations.
The Railroad: After suffering a major defeat in December 2287 and being practically wiped out by The Institute, the Railroad have been rebuilt slowly over the two years by Deacon and Drummer Boy, gaining valuable support from The Minutemen. They now operate out of Vault 75, having re-purposed the Vault to operate as a headquarters. While not a large faction as they once were, The Railroad still work to save synths from the tyranny of The Institute.
The Brotherhood of Steel: Having suffered an embarrassing defeat shortly after arriving in The Commonwealth at the hands of The Minutemen and The Railroad, they were not successful in their mission to find and destroy The Institute which still remains at the top of Elder Maxsons mind in the Capital Wasteland. While defeated by the native Commonwealth residents, The Brotherhood put up a strong propaganda program, stating they were defeated by synth infiltrators. Plans to go back to The Commonwealth with an invasion force is at the top of many angry Brotherhood minds.
The Institute: Undefeated and un-found, The Institute continue their experiments under CIT, creating synths to be better than ever. Lead by the Sole Survivor in secret, they have grown more passive under their leadership. While still hated and feared across The Commonwealth, they are unopposed.
Gunners: Due to a war between The Gunners and The Minutemen that began in mid 2289, under the leadership of Commander (formally Captain) Wes, they maintain a strong military code to be the best mercenary group in The Commonwealth, despite being constantly under siege. While losing in the war against The Minutemen, they gained weak alliances with remaining Raider groups to keep themselves strong and undefeated so far. They operate out of Gunners Plaza, now surrounded by a massive minefield and an army of Gunners.
Diamond City: After the defeat of the Brotherhood in November 2287, many residents of Diamond City began supporting The Minutemen. This, of course, only went so far, due to the Diamond City tradition of staying within (or around) the great green wall. In early 2288, Mayor McDonough was found to be a synth and was killed by Diamond City Security (with the very loud aid of Piper). The city formed a Council after the events and, despite the downfalls this has, still has been in motion today. They remain isolated from the outside world mainly, wary of outsiders and synths, defending themselves from all threats the Commonwealth poses.
Vault 81: Due to the safe nature of Vault 81, The Minutemen encouraged trade between the Vault and beyond. Still under the ownership of Overseer Gwen McNamara, they remain peacefully isolated to the wonders outside. A small incident involving a disease took place within the Vault in late 2287 when Austin Engill was bitten by a Mole Rat from a secret part of the Vault. The disease didn't spread due to the heroic actions of Austin's adopted grandmother, Priscilla Penske, whom didn't take well to her adopted son dying. Curie, a self-aware robot, was found with the cure, who now aids Vault 81's residents, despite it's wishful dreams of advancing science in the future...
Goodneighbor: After being under siege by The Brotherhood of Steel in late 2287, Goodneighbor showed it's valor and united community as it defended itself from the siege with the Neighborhood Watch and Triggermen working together. Goodneighbor survived with heavy losses, including the loss of famous singer Magnolia whom was caught in the crossfire. A monument was built in her memory in the middle of Goodneighbor and holotapes of her songs are sold in memory. Goodneighbor remains home to odd people and ghouls across The Commonwealth, also a hub for criminals, under the governing of John Hancock.
Children of Atom: Having a presence in The Commonwealth, the radiation worshipers found sanctuary in The Commonwealth after being completely hated from The Capital Wasteland by the Brotherhood of Steel. They grow in numbers around The Commonwealth, often being hostile in the wilderness to non-believers and armed with powerful gamma guns. In the Glowing Sea, they have a strong presence... and they have a firm hold of the north-east of the Commonwealth. Most people in the Commonwealth know about these fanatics and avoid them. Due to moral reasons, The Minutemen cannot declare them enemies.
Pillar's of the Community: Wiped out early 2288 by The Minutemen after found to be just frauds / Raiders seeking easy gains in the world.
Raiders: Good 'ole raiders. Being caught in the crossfire between the war against The Minutemen and Brotherhood in late 2287, and then being targeted by The Minutemen over the two years, many weak Raider groups, especially around the northern part of The Commonwealth, were defeated. Many Raider groups still maintain a strong presence around The Commonwealth, however, attacking, raping and destroying all they can. In the south, they have a stronger presence, having small, weak alliances between The Gunners to not fire upon one another.
Forged: Due to the extreme nature of the Forged Raiders, they still maintain a strong presence in and around Saugus Ironworks. Lead by Slag, the Raider Group maintains their own against The Minutemen and other wasteland threats, often raiding nearby settlements for resources. They gained more members recently from the Minutemen and Gunner war from runaway Gunners who pass the trials.
Super Mutants: Generally being creations of destruction, Super Mutants were culled by The Minutemen over the last two years, but only to an extent. They have a strong presence in the ruins of Boston, especially around skyscrapers and hospitals. They are still a very serious threat in The Commonwealth and seem un-targeted as the war between The Minutemen and Gunners takes priority.
Atom Cats: The Atom Cats in Atom Cats Garage maintained their "coolness" after making an alliance with The Minutemen early 2288, keeping to themselves. They are often attacked by Raiders (not so much Gunners anymore, due to the war between them and The Minutemen) seeking to rid them from the area and "steal their cool jackets." But due to recent development, The Atom Cats now protect themselves and the nearby settlement Warwick Homestead with turrets and traps rather than just their own "cool" power armour. They trade with passing traders for Fusion Cores quite often, becoming more popular in The Commonwealth for... well, obvious reasons.
Locations: Blue (Minutemen or have an alliance with Minutemen), Orange (Institute), Green (Gunners, Triggermen or Raiders), Yellow (Railroad), Red (Super Mutants), Purple (Children of Atom), White (unclaimed or own faction).
Vault 111: Left completely by the Sole Survivor of Vault 111, the elevator-door has remained sealed since 2287 when the Sole Survivor emerged.
Sanctuary Hills: Where The Minutemen was reformed in 2287 before the Minutemen established themselves at The Castle around the same time. Today, Sanctuary Hills is an extremely safe and well known settlement under The Minutemen flag.
Red Rocket Truck Stop: Used as a forward outpost in protecting Sanctuary Hills by The Minutemen.
Concord: The raider group that was there was defeated in early 2287. Concord, while not claimed, has been a place of safe passage if people passing do not enter the sewers under Concord, which is full of mirelurks, radroaches and molerats. Concord, mainly, is a place for scavengers to find items to trade later on.
Drumlin Diner: Still being ran by Trudy, the diner is a regular stop for nearby Minutemen settlements to come. Because of this, the Drumlin Diner is considered Minutemen protected, despite the fact Trudy hasn't agreed to this.
Thicket Excavations: For a time, the water was drained from the quarry and Raider's moved in. But in late 2289, the Raiders were defeated by a Minutemen attack. Scavengers still visit this location for scrap while Minutemen are planning to turn it into a settlement after the Gunner war is over.
Lexington: Due to the sheer amount of feral ghouls inside Lexington, the location is often avoided. Some Raider's also hide in the ruins of this location, ready to pick off strays and passing traders.
Corvega Assembly Plant: A strong location for Raider's, despite Minutemen attacks, the Raider Group there, lead by Jared, remains strong.
Malden: Malden is still a ruin, infested with feral ghouls and super mutants. The raiders in the area, however, have long since been killed by these two forces.
Vault 75: Due to the violent nature of Malden, Vault 75 found under the school was a perfect location for the new Railroad HQ. Having been re-purposed and repaired to house the members of the Railroad, synths and new agents, the Railroad has regained as much influence as they once did back in the Switchboard. Deacon, however, it's current leader, still seems mournful of the loss of Desdemona and the previous members from early 2288, having been betrayed by a person he once called a friend...
General Atomics Galleria: The Mr. Handy's that roam the Galleria, malfunctioning as they are, still seem quite active in defending the Galleria from threats... and communists.
Lynn Woods: The settlement that once sat here has long since been abandoned due to a nearby Deathclaw nest. People are advised to stay away from the big tower due to deathclaw's in the area tearing people apart, territorial as they are.
Recon Bunker Theta: Home to Paladin Brandis for many years. After the Brotherhood of Steel came to rescue him in 2287 as one of the first things they did when they arrived in The Commonwealth, the bunker has long since been abandoned.
The Slog: The ghoul settlement, growing tarberries, suffered a great loss when the Brotherhood attacked during late 2287. Due to lack of means to defend themselves, most escaped The Slog, trying to find sanctuary in The Castle. With later aid of The Minutemen, The Slog was rebuilt and made ready to defend itself from the nearby Raider Groups. Today, it still supplies The Commonwealth with tarberries.
Saugus Ironworks: Home to the Forged Raider Group, whom recently seem more successful due to their spartan nature and The Minutemen and Gunner war. Despite Minutemen attempts, they remain undefeated.
Dunwich Borers: In mid 2288, a mysterious course of events forced Raider's out of Dunwich Borers when the quarry itself began to collapse. The raider's maintain the area still, keeping an alliance with the Forged, but dare never to enter the quarry itself ever again...
Kingsport Lighthouse and Crater House: The Church of Atom have a strong presence in these areas and attack non-believers who go near either the radioactive pit or the lighthouse.
Salem: Once a quaint settlement, the last survivor (and his gun) died in late 2287. Salem is now home to a mass of Mirelurks who protect their Queen in the church at the center of the town itself. People who wonder into Salem often never come back out...
Libertalia: Due to an assault staged by an Institute Courser and the Sole Survivor in late 2287, Libertalia's raider group was greatly weakened. With a lack of leader, The Minutemen cleared the area of stragglers and use the ships today as a settlement established in late 2289.
Cambridge Police Station: Once base of the Brotherhood of Steel, it has long since been abandoned and is now infested with feral ghouls, like much of Cambridge.
Cambridge: Cambridge itself, full of feral ghouls and raiders, was recently put under siege by Super Mutants forced out of Boston Ruins. The Super Mutants in the area are constantly being attacked by feral ghouls and raiders, but often come out on top, slowly taking over Cambridge.
Greenetech Genetics: After the resident Gunners were killed in late 2287 by a mysterious event, the skyscraper was taken over by Super Mutants that were forced out of Boston Ruins by constant Minutemen attacks.
CIT Ruins: The ruins of the old university seem to be dormant. Any attempt of Super Mutant's taking over, scavengers getting scrap or even simply radroaches infesting the building are somehow destroyed... Most stay away from the CIT Ruins, thinking it's some sort of curse.
The Institute: Under the CIT Ruins is the most advanced pre-war facility where The Institute still experiment today, under the leadership of the Sole Survivor. Hidden from the world, they use a teleportation device to enter and exit The Institute itself.
Greygarden: The small settlement being ran entirely by Mr. and Nanny Handy's are completely self sufficient. From time to time, Minutemen trade with Greygarden, but Greygarden itself remains it's own location, aligned with no-one but itself.
Ticonderoga Safehouse: The safehouse, ran by High Rise, is still being used today and aided The Railroad's recovery massively over the last two years since the defeat at Old North Church.
Bunker Hill: Bunker Hill, the hub of all traders, was home to what came to be known as "Battle for Bunker Hill" where The Institute and the Minutemen / Railroad alliance fought over synths being held there in late 2287. After The Minutemen's defeat and the taking of the synths by The Institute, Bunker Hill slowly rebuilt and once again resumed it's position as hub of all traders. The survivors and traders, however, can never forget the loss of life that happened during the battle. Raiders in the local area became more active in raiding after the battle, but were constantly repelled by The Minutemen who now protect Bunker Hill until this day.
USS Constitution: The massive ship remains dormant upon the savings building. Captain Ironsides controls all the robots that "dream" of one day setting sale upon the open sea. But until that day, they fire upon anyone who goes near that wishes to claim their own dream of a lifetime's worth of scrap.
East City Downs: The dog racing buildings, once ran between Raiders and Triggermen, was eventually taken over by Goodneighbour on good graces between the Triggermen. It is perhaps the only location in The Commonwealth where Raiders and Settlers sit apart, not firing at one another, betting on which robot would win. This doesn't make the Raiders or Settlers friends, however. Minutemen are strictly banned, and Raiders sit opposite the Settlers, whom are often discouraged from going in the first place due to the risk of getting robbed or killed as they leave (or win a bet).
Boston Airport (Prydwen Ruins): After the defeat of the Brotherhood of Steel, the Prydwen fell in a blaze of fire upon the Boston Airport. The ghouls that resided there were all killed on the Brotherhood's arrival, but when the Brotherhood were killed by The Minutemen and Railroad alliance in November 2287, all that remains of Boston Airport is large piles of scrap that scavengers and Minutemen still go to when getting resources for settlements. Along the coast, Mirelurks have begun using the area as a nesting ground.
Fort Strong: After the Brotherhood's arrival, the Super Mutants that infested the ruins of Fort Strong were all eliminated in late 2287. In the years of it's abandonment, Mirelurk's began to infest the building while the deep storage where mini-nukes once sat became flooded.
Old North Church: Laying as a monument of the Railroad's defeat in early 2288, the church has long since been abandoned. In the years, it has been home to radroaches, feral ghouls and super mutants. People often avoid it for this reason.
Cabot House: Home to the ancient Cabot Family, the house is well defended by a private band of mercenaries and well-maintained robots. Visitors are rarely allowed in, though the home seems well-kept compared to the ruins around it..
Mass Fusion Building: After The Institute stormed the Mass Fusion Building in search of an item needed for The Institutes reactor, the skyscrapers residents of Gunners were all but eliminated. In 2288, Goodneighbour's own Neighborhood Watch used it as a forward defensive point, but this was short lived. In 2289, throughout the year, the building was used as a Minutemen stronghold in a campaign to drive the Super Mutants out of Boston Ruins. This was of limited success. The building today is constantly changing ownership between Super Mutants, Goodneighbour and Raiders.
Goodneighbour: Ran by John Hancock, the location is a fond attraction to settlers, organized crime and ghouls. Memory Den still maintains strong business and the location is known as "safe", despite the siege from the Brotherhood of Steel in late 2287. Today, a lone monument sits in the middle of Goodneighbour for Magnolia, who died in the crossfire between the BoS and Goodneighbour. Goodneighbour maintains it's independence from The Minutemen, being home to organized crime and settlement rejects.
Vault 114: Home to Skinny Malone and his gang of Triggermen, slowly rebuilding Nick Valentine escaped in late 2287.
Boston Common (Swans Pond): No one goes near Boston Common due to the well known radiation problem and large behemoth called "Swan" which remains in the Swans Pond. The area is avoided by Raiders and Minutemen alike.
Combat Zone: The Combat Zone, despite being ran by Raiders, maintains itself from the rest of The Commonwealth. Minutemen have left the Combat Zone alone, due to the fact it doesn't seem to pose a threat in itself, simply being entertainment for Raiders.
Trinity Tower: Trinity Tower, home to Strong and his legion of Super Mutants, remains undefeated by The Minutemen.
Diamond City: The great green jewel of the Commonwealth. Diamond City, in early 2288, began to be ran by a council rather than a single governor after it was found Mayor McDonough was a synth working for The Institute. While mainly supporting The Minutemen in affairs, Diamond City retains it's independence and offers entry to non-ghouls, non-synths and non-raiders. The city itself has been prosperous, though nothing has really changed within the city itself.
Vault 81: Locking itself away from the outside world, Vault 81 often opens it's doors for traders. None ever dare to attack Vault 81, due to it's residents being very patriotic to the Vault itself. The "secret part" of the Vault was found in late 2287, repaired and expanded as part of the main Vault itself. The Vault, not only having grown in size, has been very successful as a safe haven from the outside world.
Fort Hagen: After the defeat of Kellogg at the hands of the Sole Survivor, the Fort itself was abandoned until 2289, when Gunners took it over as a key stronghold against The Minutemen.
The Castle: The HQ of The Minutemen, ran by Preston Garvey, is a successful home to Minutemen and a hub for trade. Weapons and clothes are manufactured here, also being a large monument of victory over The Brotherhood from 2287. While being constantly under threat by Raiders, Mirelurks and Gunners, the Castle has never been defeated since it was taken over.
Yangtze: The Chinese Submarine is still undiscovered, due to the lack of someone crazy enough to swim in radioactive water to find out what that telescope is.
Spectacle Island: The island, once home to settlers, was entirely taken over by Mirelurks, whom still nest on the island today.
University Point: The Institute took University Point, killing all the settlers and traders that resided there. It was only in 2289 that The Minutemen took it back. Theoretically, University Point could've made a good settlement, but with the bad memory in mind and the local deathclaws and mirelurks, the complex has mostly been taken over by creatures.
Gunners Plaza: Home to the leader of the Gunners, Commander Wes. It is here all the operations of the Gunners is known and made. Due to the war between The Minutemen and the Gunners, started in mid 2289, the Gunners Plaza has increased heavily in defenses, being surrounded by a mine field, turrets and a large army of Gunners, armed to the teeth. No one but a Gunner can enter this area without either being blown to pieces of filled with holes.
Atom Cats Garage: The awesome Atom Cats have aligned themselves with The Minutemen, despite keeping to themselves and trading with traders for Fusion Cores from time to time. They keep to themselves mostly, often getting visited by others who "wish to be cool." Constant Raider attacks take place, but with the aid of The Minutemen's supplies, the Atom Cats made turrets and bigger defenses other than their power armour to keep them away.
Warwick Homestead: While keeping the Atom Cats close to heart, the Warwick Homestead have joined The Minutemen and offer sanctuary to traders who dare go that far south. With constant Raider attacks in the local area, the Warwick Homestead rely heavily on turrets, traps and the Atom Cats for support.
Quincy: Constantly a battleground between The Minutemen and the Gunners in 2290, a battle still going on today. Ever since the Quincy Massacre, the Gunners have held Quincy Ruins as a stronghold, which The Minutemen didn't take a liking to when the war began. Laser burns, bullet shells and giant explosion-caused holes litter Quincy Ruins as it has become a full-scale battleground. So far, neither Gunner residents or Minutemen attacks seem to be winning, taking equal losses.
Vault 95: The Vault full of chems and chem-removal equipment is currently held by the Gunners, whom have used Vault 95 as a stronghold since 2287.
The Glowing Sea: Still as radioactive and dangerous as ever, the Glowing Sea has been home to the most deadliest of creatures and feral ghouls, also home to the Church of Atom. While the Glowing Sea is mostly avoided by almost everyone in The Commonwealth, people who venture into the Glowing Sea often never come back. Radiation storms from the Glowing Sea still plague The Commonwealth from time to time.
Crater of Atom: Home to the Church of Atom, a massive crater where the bomb fell in 2077. The mass movement of the Church of Atom hasn't changed, those who are brave enough to venture across the Glowing Sea to reach to the Crater of Atom isolate themselves here in the name of Atom.
Sentinel Site: Due to the Brotherhood's defeat in late 2287, Sentinel Site remains untouched and the military supplies within it remain untouched. Flooded with feral ghouls, the site is well defended from any wannabe traveler. In the deepest depths of Sentinel Site, a follower of Atom sits with his dangerous robot, Atoms Wrath, defending the "holy site."
Virgil's Cave: Once the home of the escaped Institute scientist, Virgil. It now lays dormant, full of scrap, since Virgil's death in 2288 after the Sole Survivor gave The Institute his location and killed him after he refused to return to The Institute, despite being able to change his career. Just in case anyone finds Virgil's cave, The Institute keeps generation one synths in the cave for safe measures.

Mr. O'malley Character Name: Cormac O'malley Nickname(s): The Irish Ghoul, O.Race: GhoulSex: MaleAge: 245 (was 32 when the Great War happened, born in 2045)Birthplace: Dublin, IrelandHeight: 5'9Weight: Nine pounds. You lose weight when all your flesh falls off..Eye Color: Used to be green, but it turned blue from becoming a Ghoul.Hair Color: Light brownHair Style: Shaggy... it often falls off.Facial Hair: N/A. Skin Color: Burnt. Red. Orange. Ghoulified.Build: AthleticDistinguishing Features: O'malley tries to cover himself due to his decaying flesh from being a really old ghoul. Profession: Before the War, O'malley was an engineer. Now he is a member of The Curators, a knowledge gatherer.Skills: O'malley is very good at setting up traps and barricades... and if that fails, he has had 200 years of experience to learn how to use an automatic rifle. If anything, he is very good at staying alive.Training: Educated pre-war, trained in engineering.Other Abilities: O'malley is good with technology to an extent... though probably a "novice" level of experience. Apparel: Leather armour, fedora and his wife's scarf. He also needs to wear glasses to see properly.Weaponry: Assault rifle. It's his best friend. He calls him "Edward."Other Equipment: A pack of cards and a Long-Range Transmitter (one of the Curator's items).Affiliation: The Curators and, if that fails, himself.Religious Belief: After seeing the world fall before his eyes, O'malley is atheist.Sexual Preference: Was Heterosexual, now Aesexual. Relationship Status: Widower.Personality: O'malley is what you'd expect for an over 200-year old Ghoul whose wife recently died.
In nature, O'malley is a kind man. He has a heart of gold, which is ironic for his Irish origins back before the war. His old age and recent death of his wife, however, has made him seem harsh in nature, spartan in attitude and uncaring to those who do not do what he tells them to do. But in reality, he just wishes for the best for everyone around him- always putting himself in harms way to do so. Most would call him lucky for staying alive this long...History:
Born in 2045 in Dublin, Ireland, Cormac O'malley was well-educated and trained to be an engineer, like his father. He wasn't a scientist, but the machines that the scientists used, the generator shells, the suits of power armour... O'malley was an expert in his field of repair and creation. When robots failed, he was the one who either repaired the robot or did the robots job. It was around the 2050's where he met Grace, the love of his life, his childhood sweetheart. They grew up together and worked together when things were tough. In the 2060's, when they came of age, they married and became Mr. and Mrs. O'malley. Cormac and Grace O'malley moved to America in 2072, wishing to both live the "American Dream" and get better jobs in advanced technology. They first lived in Boston before moving to Washington DC in 2076.
In 2077, however... the unexpected happened. When the bombs fell, Grace and Cormac were having an argument aboard a metro. After the initial shock (and pain) from slowly becoming ghouls, watching their flesh fall off and others around them slowly turn feral, they quickly learnt to survive and explored the ruined DC to find hope of survival... to which, they found very little. Together, they collected what they could- food (at this point, they didn't know they didn't need it), scraps, weapons, books... anything from their home, personal possessions- they then began their journey to find a new home since their current one was missing a roof and the local pond turned green. They set out into the ruins of DC...
Grace and Cormac were, oddly, not driven to insanity. Over 200 years, they often went outside looking for something new. They watched the world develop around them (Rivet City interested them greatly when it was founded), trading and telling tales, often repairing items like Pip-Boys and desk fans. But together they lived quite comfortably inside an underground library in the Georgetown Public Library, near the ruins of the White House. Together they learnt to fight, play cards, collect books, pre-war items... anything that they thought would rebuild the world back to the pre-war days. This dream, they quickly realized, was just a fantasy... because sooner of later, problems arose. Violence came. Raiders, Super Mutants, radioactive bugs... the horrors that Mr. and Mrs. O'malley had to overcome to stay alive. They began making traps around the Library of Congress, constantly set up barricades, destroyed the elevators, anything that showed the Library may still be used to hide away. They stopped going out eventually, keeping themselves amused by old films and books within the library... ..But ultimately- they had eachother.
In 2285, three rather unsuspected strangers wondered into the Georgetown Public Library and triggered the traps- one of them, a brown haired girl, was shot by one said trap. Having both been altered by the sound of a gunshot (and the interest of visitors), the two O'malleys rushed to the scene where they found the wounded woman. They quickly took the trio into the underground library, their home, and patched up the girl's knee the best they could... but they were no doctors. This is where they met Lucy (the woman who was shot by a trap), Corvus Blackwater and Jessica Rose- possibly the kindest and most misunderstood people they had met since the bombs fell. After guaranteeing them they won't do anymore harm and that the traps were up to keep ferals, mutants and beasts away, the five quickly became friends. Over the span of two days, the O'malleys got to know these three better... though Grace and Cormac had to explain some pre-war information to them, as they seemed ultimately interested. Jessica explained that she wanted to teach The Wasteland lost knowledge, Lucy explained she just wanted to learn and Corvus explained her lost wife's interest in collecting pre-war items. The O'malleys, of course, explained their own history and connection to the pre-war world... and their dream to also educate the Capital Wasteland and hopefully beyond. It was on this day The Curators were formed, Grace and Cormac as two of the founders.
Between 2285 - 2288, Mr. and Mrs. O'malley set out into the outside world to bring information back to Lucy (The Librarian) in their home which they had been self-trapped in for just over 200 years. The two actually bought in interesting information to The Curators, having been able to enter The Underworld with ease and understand most of the old pre-war information. They added information to The Archive from before the war the best they could.
In 2288, a man called Gary Gotham came to The Capital Wasteland from The Commonwealth. The man was quickly found by The Curators and bought to The Librarian's and The O'malleys attention. He explained his situation that he was "escaping the Commonwealth" and then told them all he knew about The Commonwealth. Amazed by this news and, having lived in Boston for 4 years, Mr. and Mrs. O'malley set up an expedition to enter The Commonwealth with The Curators approval. They left for Boston with 12 people... but when they got there, they only had 7.
2289 changed everything for Cormac O'malley. When they arrived in the Commonwealth, they were attacked by a group of Raiders who would never stop hunting them. For a time, they managed to get rid of them- but they always found a way to somehow keep up. Unexpectedly, during mid-conversation heading north to Boston, Grace O'malley was shot in the back of the head and killed. With his wife dead, Mr. O'malley swore he wouldn't let another person die out of the 6 Curator's left. He told them to hide- and "dealt" with the Raiders, expecting death- but he didn't die. Instead, his burning fury made the deaths of the Raider's so brutal, it made O'malley wonder if he was going feral. From that moment on, O'malley was never the same. His lover was dead and all he had for the memory of her was her scarf.
In current day, Cormac and the other six Curators are in The Commonwealth, gathering all the information they can so that they can eventually send it back to The Archive and head home... but Cormac's realization of how harsh The Commonwealth is compared to The Capital Wasteland's more... predictable nature isn't making it easy.

As her entered, Swindon was casually watching Cuddles finish it's meal. She turned, blinking, not expecting anyone to even know about the backdoor, let alone use it. Swindon offered a pleasant smile, rubbing the back of her neck as he/she/it inspected the bike(s).... not that, by this point, you'd realize it was two different bikes, because Swindon had take her own apart to repair the customers. "Welcome back!"
"W-Well this isn't most shops" she said in retaliation, giving a soft smile alongside the declarative statement. "Every apprentice has their master... My boss, he's... away. I'm not sure where. He didn't leave a note... He taught me everything I know. Normally you'd be dealing with him, but today he hasn't been in and it's... just me and Cuddles here." She knelt down and stroked the ginger cat, whom purred happily to the act of worship. "Now that you've given us the slave circuits and a new power cell, your speeder should be ready by morning!" Swindon answered with pride. "Though... when you arrive in the morning, I... well. I'll be tired, that much is true..." Her tone and smile weakened, but looking back down at Cuddles seemed to have restarted her happiness and she looked back up with a smile. "Hopefully finding a place to stay wasn't that hard? I mean, you probably have a ship, what am I saying..."
Swindon hadn't just made progress... she was also doing something else alongside the Speederbike. Among the mess of parts, pieces, components, broken metal and odd-looking electrical units was a box. It looked like a metal box of some sort, tiny in size, but large enough to be seen on the floor. From time to time, it pulsed with some sort of electrical energy, but did nothing other than that. At least that's what it looked like.

Jessica Rose
Character Name: Jessica Athena Rose
Nickname(s): Rosie, Jess, J.
Race: Human
Sex: Female
Age: 28 (Born in 2262)
Birthplace: Rivet City (before it was abandoned)
Height: 5'7
Weight: 10 and a half stone
Eye Color: Emerald
Hair Color: Red
Hair Style: Long and straight
Skin Color: Light
Build: Athletic
Distinguishing Features: Her bright red hair
Profession: Jessica has a very important role in The Curators, especially being one of the founders. While others, like her close friend Corvus, collect knowledge for The Archive, Jessica is the one who stays in communication with these members and sends aid to Curators when in trouble (if not herself). She is extremely important mediator between Curators and The Archive. She also collects items in her spare time, often with Corvus Blackwater (for old times sakes).
Skills: Jessica is very good at two things in specialty- her ability to move quickly (agility) and her ability to go un-noticed (stealth). She is also quite good at speaking (speech) to others without making them hostile.
Training: She was taught how to use a handgun when Rivet City's reactor was taken out (see History).
Other Abilities: Aside from being able to read and write, Jessica also knows how to stay organized.
Apparel: Often combat gear, military boots and trousers to a tank-top often covered in leather add-on's before she goes out of settlements.
Weaponry: A 10mm Pistol and a Combat Knife.
Other Equipment: A Long-Range Transmitter (one of The Curators items).
Affiliation: The Curators.
Religious Belief: Atheist.
Sexual Preference: Homosexual.
Relationship Status: Single.
Personality: Jessica is as cold as ice.... but she can make your heart melt quite easily.
In personality, Jessica is kind, charitable, organizational and takes no shit. She is extremely hostile to those who show hostility to her, which often has been the doom of many Raiders. She has a hatred towards The Brotherhood of Steel, for example, who pulled the Rivet City reactor. However, the opposite of this, is she is extremely kind and charitable to those in need and whom are kind to her. She chooses her words carefully and selectively, sometimes being purposely sarcastic in speech.
Being one of the founders of The Curators and having a devoted, important role as a Curator, Jessica takes great pride in her work, practically having given her life to it. When given a problem, Jessica stays on that problem, taking the wise words of Albert Einstein: "It's not that I'm so smart, it's just I stay with problems longer." She is also very protective, taking caution in her steps and words to avoid un-wanted thieves of knowledge.
History:
Jessica Athena Rose was born in Rivet City in 2262, having loving parents, one a merchant and the other a member of the Rivet City security. Within Rivet City, she grew up around the Rivet City museum, learning how to read and write. Her parents quickly noticed this trait that Jessica was interested in both knowledge and teaching others what she has read.... so they got her more books when they could. Due to this... Jessica actually managed to teach quite a few people in Rivet City about the world before the war. She was not, however, shrouded by the outside world. Jessica often got to saw the outside world from a young age, going on "trips" outside Rivet City for collecting scraps, though she never went far due to Super Mutants.
She grew up quite happily in Rivet City with this pattern, often helping others in all matters. That was until Rivet City was abandoned. The Brotherhood of Steel pulled out the Rivet City reactor... much to Jessica's hatred. Jessica helped a lot of people who didn't join The Brotherhood to either Megaton or Bethesda. After helping, she settled in Bethesda, often buying and collecting pre-war books when she could... though she had no real trade or purpose now that Rivet City was gone.
In 2280, at the age of 18, a friend had told her about a magazine inside the Super Duper Mart, between Megaton and Bethesda, still intact and ignored by age. Because of her love for pre-war books, she went and found the magazine, only to be confronted with Corvus Blackwater, a man she at first was very wary of... but later became very good friends with due to similar interests. Between the years 2280 - 2285, Corvus and Jessica went on some wild adventures to uncover pre-war scrap and pre-war books. Though despite this, she never saw Corvus as a love interest due to her attraction to the same gender rather than the opposite. Instead, she saw Corvus as a brotherly figure.
In 2285, everything changed and Jessica found purpose. It all started by her idea to explore the Arlington Library with Corvus, which Corvus warned was full of Brotherhood (who, as you might guess, Jessica had a hatred for). She encouraged they still go and sneak around, but unexpected to Jessica, someone else was also sneaking around- when Corvus pulled both of them out, she met Lucy, a woman from Little Lamplight who she could have a decent conversation with. To Jessica, this was a shock- not only was Lucy very intelligent, she was also very oblivious to the Capital Wasteland's horrors, despite having walked through it many times. Jessica actually fell in love with Lucy, in what way she had no idea- either as a lover or a sister, Lucy was also oblivious....as was Corvus. The trio decided to go to The Georgetown Public Library inside the DC ruins where Jessica had hoped to find some pre-war books, but only found many traps. When Lucy was shot in the knee by a trap, Jessica had a moment of sadness she had not felt since Rivet City was abandoned- a sense of loss, a sense of great sorrow and a sense of failure to protect another. Luckily, the two ghouls that set the traps, Mr. and Mrs. O'malley, rushed out to aid the wounded Lucy and invited both Jessica and Corvus into their home, having found them non-aggressive.
It was here Jessica found her purpose. After talking with the Ghoul-couple, Lucy and convincing Corvus, they all agreed to aid the Capital Wasteland in regaining lost (or even new) knowledge. The underground library was a dream to Jessica and she wanted everyone to make the most of it, without having the ability to actually read. Because of Jessica's ideas, Lucy agreed to stay in the underground library (later The Archive) and find out everything she could about it... while Corvus, herself and the ghouls find items and knowledge in the Wasteland to collect.
In the years to come, Jessica took on a primary role within The Curators. She was an organizational figure, seeing possible members, staying in contact with members and organizing items that go in (and out) of The Archive. She maintains a very close relationship to the oblivious Lucy (now "The Librarian"), feeling a sense of protection to her. She also stays close to Corvus, travelling with him from time to time on Curator missions. Jessica maintains this position in The Curators with great pride. It's easy to understand that Jessica cannot easily be replaced.
In 2288, Jessica was extremely excited to enforce the original plan of The Curators, now that they had become a bigger (and secret) faction in The Capital Wasteland. She told everyone that by 2290, she wanted all Curators to begin teaching the Wasteland in all fields of knowledge, taking knowledge from The Archive and spreading it. It was because of this idea that she dragged Corvus Blackwater to meet Three Dog, whom ultimately supported their ideas. Three Dog supplied The Curators with Long-Range Transmitters for their missions, in exchange, The Curators gave their promise to put support into "the good fight." This was all Jessica Rose's idea.
Jessica Rose today still holds an important and spartan position among The Curators and fulfills it as her lives work.

Corvus Blackwater Character Name: Corvus BlackwaterNickname(s): Lone Wolf, C.Race: HumanSex: MaleAge: 46 (Born in 2244)Birthplace: Canterbury CommonsHeight: 6'1Weight: Corvus would not be easy to pick up, weighing about 12 Stone.Eye Color: His right eye is bright blue, his left eye doesn't exist anymore!Hair Color: Aged greyHair Style: Short and shaggyFacial Hair: Survivalist beardSkin Color: TannedBuild: Somewhat muscular, matching his heightDistinguishing Features: His missing eye. The years haven't been kind to him either, he has scars all over his body from wounds.Profession: Professional scavenger and Curator collectorSkills: Corvus is extremely good at one thing; living. His survival skills allow him to travel long distances without having to stop at settlements for anything. This means Corvus is also good at combat, mostly with a non-automatic rifle of some sort and hand-to-hand combat (for emergencies).Training: Corvus was taught to hunt by his father, this meant he was taught to fight with rifles and hand-to-hand combat.Other Abilities: Well, Corvus is friendly. He isn't the most interactive of people due to his age, but he's easy to get along with. This can make him soothing at times with friendly people.Apparel: Corvus wears mostly leather which has protected him nearly all his life. He often wears long leather jackets going down to his knees because "it feels right."Weaponry: A hunting rifle, old school lever action with no scope or advanced components. He also carries knuckle-dusters on his person, just in case he runs out of bullets.Other Equipment: Corvus almost always has a backpack which he will carry his "scrap" in. Most of this scrap would be to trade, others would be to bring back to The Archive. This is quite heavy alongside his leather trenchcoat, but Corvus endures (that is why he is muscular). Affiliation: The Curators.Religious Belief: Corvus puts his faith in God (Christian). Sexual Preference: Heterosexual.Relationship Status: WidowerPersonality: Corvus is a man whose age is taking it's toll... but the knowledge he cannot forget. Alongside having a strong will, Corvus is also very friendly to those whom show open-mindedness and friendliness to him. To others, he can seem very defensive over the smallest of things. He is a hunter at heart, however... that is an important thing. Among tales of Lone Wanderers, Corvus see's himself as a lone wolf / hunter who enjoys friendships from time to time, but cannot stay with his friends very long due to the urge to travel (and profit) alone.
Corvus is Christian. His father was a Christian and taught all he knew about God and his teachings (there were some inaccuracy) to his son. So beyond everything, Corvus is extremely devoted to both personal cause (for The Curators) in helping others and his faith in God.History:
Corvus was born in 2244 in Canterbury Common, back when it was a small and fair little settlement. His mother, sadly, died at childbirth and his father always mourned over it... but his faith made him keep Corvus under the grief and helped him grow. His father wasn't the best of fathers- not very compassionate, closed minded and extremely wary of strangers. It was this behavior, however, that Corvus swore he'd never swoop to, despite his eternal love for his father.
By 2260, at the age of 16, Corvus had been taught by his father to be a hunter for Canterbury Common, trained in weaponry, scavenging for parts and fist-fights. Yes... Corvus often found himself in a brawl with people from Canterbury, sometimes winning, sometimes losing. It was more of a sport and hobby, despite his fathers disapproval. Above all things, however, Corvus's father was Christian and taught all he could to his son, knowing he had a large future. In 2262, his father died near Corvus's 18th birthday and it tore Corvus. He had no other known family still alive.
After hunting for most of his years, in 2271, Corvus moved to Megaton and become a resident there due to a personal liking to the settlement and being sweet on a girl there called Triss. To Corvus, Triss was a beautiful and intelligent woman who could even read and write. They met one day while collecting scrap- Corvus took an interest in Triss when she recovered an american flag. By 2272, they lived together and shared a life in which they thought would be eternal. They got caps by trading scrap while having a personal collection of pre-war artifacts in their home in Megaton, keeping the exotic scrap in secret as a personal hobby. In 2277, however, Triss fell ill. It was a sudden cancer which took Triss's life in the later months of 2277 and when she finally died, having not birthed a child, Corvus was heartbroken. He kept his home in Megaton and mourned over his loss for months. For a time, he even had an alcohol addiction, but it was cured by 2279 by constant visits to the doctors. It was only in 2279 that Corvus realized he needed to continue his life and find a new purpose. It was also in 2279 that Corvus lost his left eye. While out collecting scrap and drinking a bottle of whiskey, unaware of his surroundings, he was attacked by a Raider with a knife. The raider "got lucky" (Corvus would say) and cut Corvus's eye so deep it would never be able to be seen through again. It was one of the reasons Corvus quit drinking.
Being a collector of rare pre-war "scrap" with his lovers hobby in mind, he continued collecting rare items found around The Capital Wasteland. In 2280, he had a tip about a pre-war magazine in the Super Duper Mart. Unfortunately, when he got there, he came across a red-haired woman called Jessica Rose who already had the magazine. Despite the mishap, they actually became quite good friends due to similar interests. Jessica was also a rare-scrap collector, but instead of collecting scrap, she collected books and magazines. They agreed to work together from time to time, finding strength in numbers. But Corvus kept himself distant between the idea of having Jessica as a lover, due to past experiences with his lost love, Triss. Inbetween the next five years, Corvus mostly continued his existence by helping Jessica from time to time, trading scrap and generally living. It's all Corvus knew.
In 2285, Corvus found a new purpose. While helping Jessica find more books, they came across the Arlington Library. Corvus warned Jessica this location was full of hated Brotherhood of Steel, and thus, they began sneaking around in the darkness to avoid detection. But while sneaking, they unexpectedly bumped into someone who was also trying to hide. Finding this a risk that could end their lives, Corvus escorted the new shadow and Jessica out of the library to safety. This is where they met Lucy. To Corvus, Lucy was a strange, yet friendly woman who seemed to enjoy knowledge. Jessica got along well with Lucy, better than Corvus ever could. Unexpectedly, Lucy had a personal like to Corvus as a fatherly figure... which at first he denied, but grew to the idea over the next few years.
On the same day, they decided to explore The Georgetown Public Library, the trio coming across it in the DC ruins, hoping Jessica could find some books here. When Lucy was shot, Corvus was extremely wary when the traps were de-activated by two rather sad Ghouls. They helped Lucy, but Corvus mostly stayed away from the four as they healed Lucy. Over the next two days following this, Corvus slowly began to trust the two Ghouls and Lucy. As they discussed the idea of using the ghouls home (an underground library) to store information of all kinds, Corvus first thought it was a horrible idea. And yet, Corvus became one of the founding members of The Curators. He devoted all his pre-war items (including Triss's) to The Archive and slowly grew to the idea of The Curators as a faction.
Corvus did this in the name of God and Triss, however. Personally, he had no interest in teaching anyone in the Capital Wasteland or beyond. He was merely, what one would describe, as a solider for The Curators. He would go out, find items of knowledge and give it to The Archive for all the more "intelligent" people to understand. This doesn't mean Corvus isn't a valued member of The Curators. It just means he isn't like all the other members. A widower with a cause, but a lone wolf among the Wasteland.
Corvus continued The Curators mission until today, where he still goes out and collects items for The Curators while not drawing attention to himself, collecting scrap and game from hunting also. He leaves all the recruitment and radio business to Jessica Rose. But when The Curators need to get something done.... they often turn to Corvus.

Religious Belief: Atheist.

Relationship Status: Single.
Personality: Lucy, Lucy, Lucy... how does one describe The Librarian? Well, we can begin by saying that Lucy has Aspergers, not that it is a well known fact. Her mental condition makes her almost unable to be aware of the outside Wasteland as a threat. She is unable to tie laces, eat foods that are two different colours or comprehend very simple constructs. What Lucy can do, however, is recognize knowledge and take in information like a sponge. This is why she has restricted herself (or rather, committed herself) to The Archive. Any information given to The Archive is also fed into Lucy's mind. Her knowledge is, of course, restricted to lack of experience with certain fields of information.
Due to her condition of Aspergers, it is assumed Lucy would be very anti-social. This is incorrect- Lucy is extremely polite and mindful of her wording, being able speak in such a way that may convince someone she is actually something else (tricking them), if need be. Lucy loves teaching other people. It's how she makes friends. When someone enters The Archive to become a Curator, she gets quickly acquainted with them. This is, of course, because she often finds herself lonely in The Archive with all the knowledge The Curators can throw at her, giving her the task or organizing it all and keeping it all intact. A job that she takes extreme pride in.
Though Lucy engages in social interaction with anyone who enters The Archive, she will never expose a close guarded secret regarding her origin in Little Lamplight... her greatest shame.
History:Lucy was born in 2264 in Big Town and was quickly, at a really early age, taken to Little Lamplight by her unknown parents. Growing up around children was an experience that Lucy both loved and dreaded, learning quickly how nice (and mean) certain people could be and how different they were from herself. Others used to see Lucy as... an oddity within Little Lamplight due to her nature to study things in extreme detail. And because she refused to eat two foods of different colours within certain time periods. But the children of Little Lamplight understood that Lucy was the way she was and accepted it. She grew up studying all she could from Little Lamplight, even at some points attempting to go beyond Murder Pass a few times to pry on the Vault down there, but often returned empty handed due to both fear and radiation. She did, however, return one lucky time with a microscope and used it to see what little secrets appeared on... well, anything. This was what Lucy was found doing most of the time in her youth.
By the age of 13, Lucy was tired of living in the cave. She wanted to know what was beyond Little Lamplight... and prior to what she would tell anyone who she met beyond Little Lamplight- she actually broke the most sacred law of Little Lamplight. She escaped. Lucy did not wait until her 16th birthday to leave, but instead, left mid 15 due to a dispute and much hatred drama with other closed-minded children. She quickly found herself in The Capital Wasteland, full of ghouls, super mutants, warring factions, monsters and, the worst of all, raiders. Between the years 2279 and 2285, Lucy explored The Capital Wasteland (or at least most of the middle, north-west, southern and south-east portions). She often wore leather and carried a simple 10mm pistol with her (which often had no ammo, so she learnt to run extremely fast) while studying plants, mutated animals, the history of the Wasteland and society. She found many things during this adventure. Crashed veribirds, tales spoken over campfires, technology of all kinds and how society has adapted. From Megaton to Old Olney, she got to see and study most of the Capital Wasteland in adventures that she barely understood how she got herself into, due to the Aspergers and lack of social understanding at some points in her life.
In 2285, while entering the Arlington Library for the first time, she was extremely interested in finding intact pre-war books. Directed to this location, she quickly became aware of the annoying Brotherhood presence and spent her time slowly and wisely sneaking around in the darkness to avoid detection. The flaw behind this poor tactic was not knowing what lurked in the darkness with her. And she was very confused when she bumped into a couple sneaking in the darkness with her... They grabbed her wrist and quietly (yet politely) sneaked out of the library, empty-handed, but also undetected. This is where Lucy met Corvus Blackwater and Jessica Rose, two eccentric exotic scrap collectors who had tons of rare scrap back in Megaton and Bethesda. They quickly became good friends through the share of interest and, oddly, Corvus and Jessica taking a liking to Lucy blurting out facts from time to time. They decided to travel together into the DC ruins, hoping to find intact pre-war books. Together, they found The Georgetown Public Library.... but were unaware of the traps that lurked. Automated traps activated and Lucy took a bullet to the kneecap, shattering most of the bones within her knee itself.
The creators of these traps, Mr. and Mrs. O'malley, Ghouls who were over 200 years old by this point, found the wounded and somewhat friendly trio and invited them into their home- the underground library. It was here that the O'malley's tried to fix their error and patched Lucy up the best they could... but the damage was permanent. After realizing she couldn't walk very far, Lucy swore she would have to stay in the library (as a joke) and take care of it. This formed an idea in Corvus's mind where they would collect information and bring it to Lucy (also as a half-joke)... but the idea caught on and, over a period of two days, the five planned a group that would, in the future, be called The Curators.
Lucy has the only named position within The Curators due to her commitment she swore in 2285.... that she would organize, repair and keep The Archive in order and repair. All information that was known by the founders was uploaded or written, every item was put inside The Archive and every book was put on shelves. Over the years, more and more was added to The Archive.
In the modern day, Lucy took on the name "The Librarian" and only gets to communicate to the outside world through the Long-Range Transmitters and when Curator's visit. Food and drink is supplied to her as she takes care of The Archive with great enjoyment. Her only dream is to teach the outside world the best she can, by teaching The Curators as much as she can and, hopefully in the future, setting up a radio station. That is Lucy's dream.
