Personality: Haldric is stern, and fierce, but this attitude has lessened in the last ten years of his life. He's become more mellow, and caring.



Haldric was born a middle child of 3 brothers. Like his brothers, he was naturally bulky. Strong and tall. It helped that he was always active, always fighting with his brothers. They all became great warriors, Haldric was known to be the biggest of his brothers, and used a battleaxe. His older brother used an axe and a shield, his little brother using a greatsword. They went through so many weapons, they eventually lost count.

Although Haldric was the largest, he was not the the fiercest. His brothers were the womanizing, vicious nords. Haldric was more conservative. He joined a bandit clan in his teens, already as large, if not bigger then some of them. They all had a code, however. Their code was to never kill the women or children. Eventually, Haldric's brothers joined the clan, they fit right in, Haldric, did not.

In Haldric's early twenties, he tried to leave the Bandit clan, they did not have any of this. He (and his brothers, they were extremely close, always had each other's backs) killed more then half of the clan before they let him go. Haldric's days of pillaging and plundering were over. At the age of 22, Haldric met a lovely Nord woman, Joria, in a tavern. They clicked, and married only two months after meeting. They attempted for a child soon after.

Haldric and Joria moved into Haldric's family home after his parents' death. His brothers were still moving from city to city, looking for jobs that meant bashing in skulls. It took Haldric and Joria a while to conceive a child. Anja Warhand was born 4E 203. It seemed that she took after her father more then her mother. She wanted to be a "great warrior" like her father. Of course, Haldric liked to embellish his tales, and conveniently forgot the part that he was fighting (mostly) unarmed men.

After some time, Haldric's older brother died, killed by bandits. His little brother soon followed after, also by bandits. Haldric pinned it down to just simple mistakes, rusty skills. Still, he felt bad that he was not there to protect his brothers. They had not spent much time with Haldric since they left the bandit clan.
