History
Though growing up in The Pitt was hard, it taught Darren a lot. Mechanics was the first task he was given at a young age. Running and fixing the machines gave him the skills he needed to make his escape. Opening the draining pipe gave him the minutes he needed to run for the freedom he desired. While on the run he stumbled into the dead forest of West Virginia, were he found that survival was difficult. His only saving grace was running across a cabin with shot gun, and supplies.
Eventually he found his way to a large settlement were he joined up with a caravan group. He crossed the US with several traders twice, and is planning a return trip.
