The Trolls of Zul'Mabwe.
{Faction Overview - Click to View}
To call the Trolls of Zul'Mabwe a faction is like calling Lions a faction because they share land and heritage. No, the Trolls of Zul'Mabwe have not been a faction for many, many years. Hundreds, in fact, for their Kingdom fell a long time ago and has left naught but shattered Tribes vying for a throne that has long crumbled to rubble. Yet they are united in their hatred of everything else, their territoriality over the Jungles of Zul'Mabwe and their reverance of the Loa - and their Priesthood the Loa'ligh.
Often will the Trolls lead raids against their neighbours. Literally all of them, for they seem to be capable of surviving in any harshness and under any climate effects. Parties of their raiders have been spotted as far as Rockycrest and Coppervale, before either retreating into their jungles or being destroyed by the armies of Fonté.
As for armies, each Tribe fields a vast group of warriors, barbarians and archers, occasionally supplemented by Loa'ligh Priests. These Tribes wage constant war on each other, and yet still maintain high numbers - for Trolls breed fast and heal quickly, without the wars they would have spilt into an endless war with their neighbours long ago. And possibly won.
Why they have not, is a mystery.

{33 - Zul'Mabwe}
Terrain: Zul'Mabwe is a province of dense jungles, surrounded on all sides by extremely high mountains. This natural barrier has kept the Trolls of Zul'Mabwe isolated from the rest of Gabriola since long before Man walked its surface in tribes. Zul'Mabwe is host to a number of horrible, bloodythirsty, monstrous beasts - like Raptors, Tusked Tigers, Terror Birds, Pterodactyla, Hydras and other ancient monsters.
Army: The Army of Zul'Mabwe is very disjointed, several different and often rivaling tribes will come together to defend the forests of their cultural capital, Zul'Mabwe, and will then turn on the Tribe who recieved the most casualties in the short war. They are basic, being very lightly armoured and lightly armed. However they are aided by 'dark' magics, blessings from their Gods the Loa that links Magic and Priests with Druidism.
Brief Description: The Trolls seperately in often-warring and highly hostile tribes. One tribe is likely to steer clear of you and leave you to their traps and the wildlife, while the next may descend upon you as you cross their tribal threshold and then scalp you alive - these tribes are often clearly marked by the entire skins of people left hung from trees like cloth. Or their heads, or their arms - it depends on the Tribe. Some Tribes are large enough to have built cities of stone, yet most are a remnant of the ancient past when the Amanwe were a united kingdom like the Galabrashi and their might stretched across much of the land that Fonté has claimed for its own.
Yet all Amanwe swear some loyalty to their Priesthood, the Loa'ligh. The Loa'ligh live in a temple-city in the deepest stretches of the jungle, giant pyramids rise from the trees to glare across the canopy. Pyramids that often run with the blood of sacrifices, sacrifices to their dark gods for darker powers.

{"Northern" or Amanwe Trolls: - Click to View}
The "Northern" Troll subspecies are those of the forests of Zul'Mabwe, they call themselves the Amanwe Trolls, or just the Trolls - as they refuse to believe that the "Weak-Skinned Purples o' Galabrash" are in anyway related to them. They are very tall, and unlike their purple-skinned brethren are far thicker. Their skin is also green, not purple or blue - any born Purple, Blue, White or Yellowed (the other primary Troll colourations) are cast aside to live alone in the woods which, from birth, often means death. They stand at 6-8', with shorter tusks than their Galabrashi cousins, longer ears and a less hunched posture. They also have two-toes on their feet, which they don't ever wear footwear on. Their thick feet are excellent at running, especially along thick branches and up tree trunks. Their hands are two-fingered and thick, with a single thumb that allows them a precision grip of weapons and branches. They are well muscled and capable of scaling trees and brachiation, as well as mountain-climbing with ease. They are not as agile as their southern cousins, but are far more so than the average Humanoid - which they use over them to excell in combat as axe-throwers, backstabbers and barbarian warriors.
Their hair colours range as much as their skin, and their ability to self-heal is surpassed by no other species native to Gabriola. As an example, an Amanwe Troll can lose a limb and regrow it within the year, even major organs like eyes and Kidneys can be regrown and repaired. Unless the wound is caused with (or treated with afterwards) fire, magical or natural.
Mount of choice: The deep jungles of Zul'Mabwe have tamed none of their native species, which are highly aggressive.
