The Dwarven Kingdom of Dagor
{Faction Overview - Click to View}
The Dwarves of Dagor founded their Kingdom many centuries ago. Dagor began as a refuge from the Dragons that ruled the skies above Dagor Island. They retreated into the mountain at the center of the island, and built a home inside. Not too far in, they found large gold and iron veins, that ran like rivers down the mountain. Over the years, Dagor became gradually bigger. It has always been ruled by the line of Thranaduun.
Today, the Kingdom is so large, that the path from one side to the other takes days, and there are various inns along the way, this is called the Mead Mile. It is a right of passage for young Dwarves to make it the entire way across, drinking from every inn. If you don't pass out along the way, you're doing it wrong.
The Dwarven Military is composed of Heavy Warriors, Crossbowmen and Dragon Riders. The Heavy Warriors are in either full plate, platemail, or chainmail. They usually carry warhammers, or battleaxes, but greatswords are also an option. The Crossbowmen are usually in chainmail, and are behind the warriors, or on a hill, overlooking the battle, where they can easily pick at the opposition without the chance of being run through by the front lines. The Dragon Riders are a recent addition, with the alliance of the Dragons and Dwarves, the Dragons have joined forces with Dagor, and allowed the Dwarves to ride them, providing the dragon chooses the rider.

Terrain: -- Most of the province is plains, except for two patches of land. In the Northwest corner, there is a large, dense forest. And in the centre of the island, there is an extremely large mountain, which is home to the Dwarves of Dagor.
Army: --
Heavy Warriors - 4,500
Heavy Warriors use heavy armor, and very heavy weapons, usually warhammers, battleaxes, greatswords and spears. They are the main force of the Dwarves, used in every battle. They employ a heavy charge into the enemy, and hit hard with their weaponry.
Crossbowmen - 2,000
Crossbowmen are lighter armored, and usually sit themselves up on a hill overlooking the battle, so they can fire down on the enemy without the risk of hitting their allies.
Dragon Riders - 95
Dragon Riders are the Rider, and the Dragon. They are the aerial unit of the Dwarves. The Dragons are not considered a mount, but rather, another soldier. They will fly over the enemy, and set fire to them.
Brief Description: -- Quite a few centuries ago, the Dwarves and Dragons warred against eachother, and the Dwarves were slowly losing. They chose to dig into the large mountain in the centre. Eventually, they made contact with the Snow Kingdom, and made an alliance. Later down the line, about twenty years before current date, the Dragons, recognizing that they would not last against the power of the west, joined with the Dwarves.
