Personality: Calm, fairly friendly but also cautious and analytical. Some people find it hard to believe that such a 'nice old man' was a professional killer of men in his heyday. Despite his long history as a ranger, James generally tries to use reason and words to resolve tense situations before resorting to violence, that being said, if it does come to that you can bet he'll try to draw first blood and end the fight before it can really take off. Attempts to stay out of large scale conflicts but will step into matters on a local level to help out his neighbors as he sees fit.
Born in a small town in Northern Nevada, James had the fortune of being raised among the best damn fighting force in the west (or so they boast), the Desert Rangers. Both his mother and father were Rangers, so it was only natural for the boy to be raised to be one himself one day. Unfortunately, James wouldn't get to know his father very well,
