Personality: Mako's personality represents that of an attack dog. Fiercely loyal to his master, and aggressive to most others. Mako is aggressive, bloodthirsty, and ruthless. He pours all of his hate and anger into his strikes and attacks, leaving him quite open to a counter attack. Beyond combat, Mako tends to be an alpha male. Out of all the Sith he is around, only his Lord is completely safe from him. If he perceives you as a threat, he will attempt to destroy you.

Mako Keppora was an only child, born on Korriban three years after the Sith Invasion, and a year before they started training a new generation of Sith. He never knew who his father was, but Mako speculated it was a Sith Lord, from what his mother had told him. He showed that he was force sensitive at around age 4, and that is when the Sith took him in for training.

The training was very intense and difficult, the acolytes were beaten, broken down, some may have even called it torture. But then they rebuilt you, forged you into a Sith, constructed the perfect killing machine. After this realization, Mako no longer feared the pain, he embraced it, used his pain, anger and hate in his training. He progressed much faster in lightsaber duelling then the other acolytes, simply because he utilized a style they did not know how to defend against: Juyo.

Eventually the instructors let Mako go too far. In a duel against one of Mako's rivals, Mako let himself slip further into the dark side then he had ever before. Even when Mako disarmed the other acolyte, he kept striking the poor student. They did not let Mako duel for a few months after that incident, instead forcing him to work on his Force ability.

He hated the Force for a time, thought of it as unnecessary, why use space magic when you can use a lightsaber? He enjoyed using the dark side powers, completely falling to their power. Lightning and choking, Mako was interested in most. After he had shown some restraint in his aggression, which was quite above that of the other Acolytes, they let him duel, and learning from his past error, did not continue attacking his opponent after they were rendered useless in combat.

At this point, Mako was considered worthy to be apprenticed to a lord or Darth, but first he had to construct an age of weapon of the Sith and Jedi alike: the Lightsaber. Mako did not care for the intricacies or features, he constructed a simple, all black hilt, with a standard size blade. Then he did it again. Mako had two lightsabers, and he was ferocious and deadly with both.

At age 12, Mako was chosen by a young Sith Lord to be his apprentice, Lord Malrius. Malrius had an abnormal way of taking Mako as his apprentice, instead of being pleased with his skills and simply choosing him, Malrius gave him a task. If Mako would help Malrius kill his Lord, then Mako would be Malrius' first apprentice. Quite unique. Perhaps it was this uniqueness that made him accept the offer. Malrius was not a warrior, like himself, in fact the opposite, but Mako could do with the Force experience that came from a Consular.

Malrius had no other apprentices at this point, though six months into Mako's apprenticeship, he took another, an Echani by the name of Kairon. Two years after that, a Chiss, a year after that, a Twi'lek, and two years after that, a Miraluka.

Mako got on reasonably well with all but the Twi'lek, whom Mako viewed as a rival and a threat, being the only other Guardian in the group. Mako relented some against the other apprentices, but he did not with the Twi'lek, whom suffered most of Mako's anger, besides any opponent that got in their way, of course.

Lord Malrius was not the easiest person to get along with, but he was particularly 'kind', when it came to Sith Lords. He was not hateful, did not release all his anger upon his apprentices, he did push them, though.
