Service Record
The secret shipyard of the Sith Empire shelled out dozens of these ships based on ancient designs. Not seen gracing the skylines of planets for over 3600 years, the Phantom-class has seen a resurgence in use by Sith Lords and Agents of the Sith Empire. Stealthy and capable of landing in almost any conditions without being seen, the Phantom-class is often used to extract Force-Sensitives for the Sith Academy, or ancient artifacts for various Lords and Darths.
The Phantom Pain performs the latter task for Sith Lord Malrius, and before him Sith Lord Kanaius - his own master. For six years Malrius has flown the ship as part of the Reclaimation Fleet - which has been docked and under construction most of that time. The Phantom Pain, and many other Phantom-class vessels, were the only part of the Fleet that traveled outside of the system. It traveled across the Tingel Arm, from Ziost to Belkadan, in search of ruins and artifacts belonging to the ancient Sith Empires of old. Anything that could be used to rebuild the Sith, and provide them the power they needed to succeed.
It was on a visit to one of these planets that Lord Malrius and his crew 'picked up' (kidnapped, imprisoned - whatever) his Miraluka Apprentice Mayeb. And it is her that now flies the very ship that stole her away. With the Force, Mayeb can see things that few others can. The Dark Side often leads glaring scars on the Force, which in orbit around planets the Miraluka can often percieve. While this has it's limits (specifcally, you can't pinpoint one dark artifact on a planet of dark artifacts, or on a planet that has experienced many many dark acts) the Miraluka is exceptionally good at spotting Force Nexuses of both the Dark and the Light side. These tend to be ruins of temples, enclaves or secret bunkers ripe for the
