Personality: Hans is a quiet and wise man, but always like a good laugh jokes around allot and is mostly always cheerfull he is loved by the crew for both this traits and he will only speak to either make you think, or laugh.



Born in The Amsterdam vault he grew up in a middle/lower class family with his mother and father moms worked as a teacher in the vault while dady was an technician. when he was going to school he was a good student, the best of the whole class. Only side effect was, he got bullied allot. lucky for Hans he was quite funny so he could deal with it quite easy, the rest of his younger years where quite boring, getting good grades, growing up ect ect.

when he was 18 he learned the skills of being an technician from its dad, and a bit of tutor skills from his mom, this last would be quite helpfull later is his life. 2 years later he met the love of his life, Janny, she was 2 years younger then Hans and they met during a party because the new King was installed (The Father of Willem) they had a great day, and after that day they "would" stay togheter forever, and later in life get married.

He lived a quiet peacefull life and after both his parrents passed away in the years to come he lived together with his loving wife. he got a job as technician and eventually worked his way up to head of the technical deppartment (aka Chief of Tech) he now had worked his way up to some of the "higher" classes and came in contant with more and more people of this caste. He quickly learned that he didn't liked those kind of people, just not his type, Arrogant noble's who saw themselfs as gods. He always openly spoke out his oppinion on this and so created that the "upper" class started to fear Hans for his Oppinion.

When Hans was 35 years old his fate was sealed, he was stripped of his profession and got the offer to become the librarian of the vault or go to the surface, he had to make the best of a bad bargain and took the job. after returning home of this his wife was gone, he still doesn't know what happend to her but he guessed the rulling class had either send her away or killed her, this only feeding his hatred for the upperclass.

after a while he got used to his job, studing books, keeping the dust away and keep track of the lend out books. he also found some hidden books who nobody in the vault ever read, old world books. a whole shitload of Karl Marxs Manifest, probably stashed here when Communism became forbidden in the Netherlands. he studied those books in silence, this continued for 10 years untill oneday the King himself came to ask him something. he asked if he could Tutor his son Willem because Hans was been the smartest of the whole vault for years. Hans saw this as an opportunity for change of Hirachie so he accepted the offer. Willem was a good student, with a temper, but a good student nevertheless. in the following years Hans tutored him and Willem loved him as the Father he never had, vice versa it was the same, Willem was Hans son he never had.

When Willem was done doing his Naval study the Vault was planning on restoring an old Warship. by that time Hans and The King both sepperatly and unknown of each other gave Willem a present, Hans a book (Communist Manifest) and the King gave an Leather Pirate hat who had been in the family for years. When Willem learned of Communism and driven by his hatred for his parents he decided an Mutiny when the ship was done (check for more info on the Mutiny "Willem van Oranje Nassau")

after the mutiny he was named Chief Engineer of the ship and they setted sail for England, leaving his old behind. now at the age of 68 he is finally a happy man.
