The detachable cargo section also allows for the dumping of the cargo in case of trouble either with law enforcement, pirates or if Aldira needs to drop off something important to Nasrii without being detected.

Built by the now defunct subsidiary of the Kuat Drive Yards, the wayfarer-class medium transport is a rather rare ship in the galaxy. Small and agile on it’s own, it is able to attach and detatch different modular configurations. Whilst it was intended to have three sections; a passenger section, a hangar bay and a cargo module, production costs forced the company to scale back and create only the hangar section. As the hangar section contained enough space for the ship to work as both a cargo vessel and as a hangar.

The Tiseki was owned by a number of people before it got into the hands of the current owner, Ambassador Aldira. In it’s history it’s been mostly a cargo vessel, moving cargo from system to system. Due to Aldira’s lack of funds in his early career, he decided to buy this as his personal vessel, rather than get a ship assigned to him from the New Republic, so he would be able to modify it to suit his needs. He was able to buy the Tiseki from a trader, who sold it to him cheap, and then took it to another shipyard and then bought several modifications to the interior. To the hangar module, he took out certain sections to make room for an airspeeder, as well as his landspeeder, and then disguised the cargo sections to hide certain things from the crew, such as compartments to hide his buzz droids, and information he has accumulated during his work.

Now Aldira uses it to shuttle himself to and from various planets, during his diplomatic tours. He has a constant crew of New Republic men, some of whom have been carefully placed by Nasrii the Hutt to defend their interests.
