Service Record
The Ghost of Solitude was originally produced with other Venator-class Star Destroyers for the Republic Army near the end of the Clone Wars. Dubbed the Trailblazer, this star destroyer was assigned to the Open Circle Fleet and was manned by a crew of Clone Troopers led by Jedi commanders. When the Open Circle Fleet split apart, the Trailblazer likewise departed for it's own missions, chasing Separatist forces all the way to the outer rim. Most of it's combat taking place in the Perlemian Trade Route, the Trailblazer's primary drive engines were damaged, and distress was sent out requesting repair crews.
Before the crews would reach the ship however, the infamous Order 66 was to be carried out. As fortune would have it, the Jedi aboard were with a minimal number of troopers at the time, and were able to use their skills in force suggestion to convince the officers with them that they had succeeded in killing the Jedi aboard. With two of their number down, Master and Apprentice hid aboard the ship, waiting for their chance to escape while the Clone Troopers disposed of 'their bodies.' blowing their old companions out the airlock.
Their chance finally came when their request for repairs came through, but in a way they had not suspected. Like many of the venator-class star destroyers at the time, the ship was abandoned rather then repaired, leaving it to drift along the trade route. Their enemies dispersed, the two Jedi took the Trailblazer as their own, unable to pilot a ship with just the two of them. Leaving the ship in some of the abandoned V-Wings, the Jedi gathered supplies from the nearby planet of Tanaab, the Jedi lived out their life in solitude for a time.
Eventually as the years grew on, the apprentice became a Knight, and the two took new apprentices, bringing allies aboard the ship as well. As their numbers continued to grow however, it was inevitable that word of their presence in the region would be heard of. Chasing them down, the Ramikad Syndicate eventually caught up with the Jedi, slowly but surely tracking them back to their headquarters on the Trailblazer. When the Syndicate did catch up, the Jedi and their allies were ready.
Unable to maneuver the ship, the Jedi were sitting ducks for the Syndicate, so used the ships defense systems to their advantage though it would not be enough. Boarding the ship, a bloody battle between the two forces ensued, the mercenary Syndicate eventually prevailing and taking the Jedi hostage. For a time, they were held there as the Mandalorians took the ship for their own, bringing on repair crews. Eventually the Jedi were sold to the Empire, and their part in the story ended.
Taking the Trailblazer as her own, the leader of the Ramikad Syndicate, Eso'tal Ramikadyc, renamed the vessel the Ghost of Solitude. Once the ship was travel worthy once more, the new flagship of the Syndicate made it's maiden voyage back to Coruscant. For a few years, the ship served as a staging area for the Syndicate, though by 2 BBY that all changed. Unofficially joining the Rebellion, the Syndicate began operating as pirates, raiding Imperial Ships and Establishments, using the abandoned firepower onboard the star destroyer to overwhelm their enemies. It was at this time the ship gained it's new colors of black and gold, bearing the Mandalorian symbol on the top of the vessel, a fearsome sight to behold.
Kept well repaired and well armed, the Ghost of Solitude fought the Empire until it's eventual participation in the Battle of Mandalore in 4 ABY, helping the Mandalorians liberate their homeworld from the Imperial Threat. The Remnants on the run and the New Republic in charge, the ship returned to it's purpose as a staging ground and flagship of the Ramikad Syndicate. Until 22 ABY, the ship continued to patrol the galaxy, often serving as a temporary prison ship for acquired bounties more then anything else. With new goals in mind though, Eso'tal brought the ship back into Mandalorian Space.
Heading to the planet of Concord Dawn, the Ramikad Syndicate contracted themselves to serve as the planets private military. Selling off half of the starships in the hangar, the Ghost of Solitude became the unoffical flagship of Concord Dawn's unofficial fleet. Maintaining low orbit, the Ghost of Solitude continued to serve as both the fore front in fighting Death Watch raiders, as well as the staging base for all individual mercenary contracts that the Ramikad Syndicate would run.
