History
Jobe the Hutt was born into a relatively well off Hutt Kajidic known as the Compili family, while his father was taking refuge on the moon of Nal Hutta, though its a lesser known family in the Hutt world; to those living in the Rondan, and Deysum systems the Compili family is a harsh reality. Growing up in such a ruthless crime syndicate as the Compili family certainly left its mark on the small Hutt, and being the second son of the leader of the Compili family - Hobro The Hutt - put the young Jobe at an uncomfortable ease. His brother, the first son would have an easy ride, and would be required to do very little, and so the hutt did. To compensate Jobe worked diligently from the brisk young age of 125, organizing smuggling runs for the family, and he had great success, but it was during this time that his true talent would be discovered.
It was discovered that Jobe had quite the talent for recruiting, giving his great interpersonal skills he was able to lure many smugglers into the Compili syndicate, this growing amount of business in the smuggling sector of the Compili income tipped Jobes father off to his abilities. Hobro The Hutt (Jobes father) took the surplus of credits made by Jobe to put the young Hutt through a University in Nal Hutta at the age of 150. Hobro II (The first son of Hobro) was the only other Hutt in the family to attend university, so Jobes accomplishment impacted the rest of the family greatly. The Hutt came back after a few short years with a new knowledge of political science, communications, and economics: Which landed Jobe a sweet position in the family business... As an accountant...
With relative dissatisfaction in his new position, jobe hesitantly ran the numbers for the family business. This took up a significant portion of the Hutts life, taking him to the age of 200, during those long 50 years Jobe did everything he could to be noticed by his family, he laundered money, and moved accounts between different solar systems to avoid questioning, and taxation. It was this diligence, and the fact that at the age of 200 he was considered a young Hutt adult, that made his father give him a greater chance to flex his skills in the political realm. It was always a goal of Hobro's to stretch the families metaphorical wings to world of politics, and therefore the family sent many diplomatic missions into The Hutt Grand Council, and to The New Republic in hopes that they could gain diplomatic sway, so Jobe began being sent on diplomatic missives along side Vida The Hutt (mistress to Hobro) to many of the Republic embassies near Hutt space.
The young Hutt loved the work, and was great at it, his knowledge on world affairs, political science, and economics would finally come in handy, as would his interpersonal skills, The Compili family began picking up steam with the galactic community, and part of this was credited to the tag team of Vinda, and Jobe.
Jobe worked this job for a long time, for around 100 years in fact, meeting new people, visiting strange worlds, and building a connection with the republic, all the while on the side he was still managing money for the family syndicate, and pushing freighters lined with illegal firearms, and drugs. He became one of the more diligent, and well connected members of the family.
By the time he was 300 he had completely taken over the position of Vida The Hutt, and was now the primary Ambassador to The New Republic, for the Compili Kajidic. Hobro was getting visibly more venerable at this time, and had one last child, named Zondo. For the time it was unsure if the new Hutt would ever make it, Hobro was nearing 1,000 years old, and the new Hutt wouldn't leave his fathers pouch for another 50 years or so. This was a straining time for Jobe, he feared that his new brother would never make it out of his fathers patch, and he new that soon his Brother would take over the dynasty, at the ripe age of 500, which meant that Jobe may never get the chance to take over the family, but he put these thoughts aside, and kept building a political career for himself, establishing more, and more connections within this New Republic. Jobe had just turned 324, and it was becoming a great fear among the family that Hobro would not be around for much longer, at this point the ancient Hutt had lived past many of the families expectations, and the young Zondo was still living within Hobro Embryonic sack. A decision was made by the family that this young Hutt would be transplanted to the sack of Vinda The Hutt in the case of Hobro's death, in preparation Vinda had a child of her own, in order to develop her own birthing sack, and kept the unnamed child in anticipation of the transplant, to this day Hobro is still alive, as is his own offspring, and the offspring of Vinda.
Jobe continues to outshine his older brother, and has maintained a large entourage within his luxury yacht, with several dancers, of mostly humanoid species, and a few droids for protection, and maintenance of the ship.
Among this Entourage includes the young Assassin E-vanos, whom Jobe met early on in his 3rd century, while attempting to pick the pockets of the Hutt on Randon, the young Devaronian was caught, the confrontation was met with unease though the Hutt offered the child a deal to make up for his misdeed, the young debtor was able to work off his sins, but eventually decided to work alongside the Hutt indefinitely, though he has most certainly been known to take on jobs from other employers.
