The Vshra class is a peculiar beast in that it's born almost directly from the Lambda-class shuttle, but both visually and functionally has almost nothing to do with its predecessor.  However, that might have more to do with the Chiss retooling what they learned from the ship, as rather little from this ship would work on a Lambda or vice versa.  That said, they're easy to understand, probably the closest thing to core-ward design one is likely to find in Chiss space.  These ships were designed strictly for exploration and scout duties for the Chiss military, with the capacity for it to function as an emergency cargo runner.  This craft is obscenely fast (faster than older X-wings) and difficult to find on sensors, but also vulnerable once caught due to its poor maneuverability.  Fortunately, only dedicated interceptors can even catch it and even then it is pretty well defended.  While normally this ship operates within the Chiss sectors, they possess nav computers which are either copied or torn wholesale from the Lambda.  These ships are almost exclusively found in the Unknown Regions and far Outer Rim, but occasionally one can be seen slipping its way coreward on some scout mission or another; however, they aren't seen often enough to gather much intelligence on them.

This particular Vshra was the third built, during which it has almost never rested, going all across the borders of Chiss space, even scouting out planets which have since begun boasting colonies.  During this time, Lothas'iron'athren has remain aboard as its navigator and is its only original crew member, most of whom have gone on to other duties.  The ship has seen combat against intruders and has a smattering of captures and kills--however, most of its duty has been away from combat.  It has so far only been damaged by space debris.  The Mahrii's list of discoveries is obscenely long, but of particular note are several ruins of an unidentified and apparently extinct alien race, several untouched garden worlds, and an ancient Sith listening outpost.  Since Lothas'iron'athren was given control of the ship, however, the Mahrii has been seen in Hutt, Imperial, and even Republic space, even occasionally landing on low-population worlds to explore.  Apparently she has been given some sort of information gathering mission, though only her crew and the Ascendancy itself know what it is.
