Personality: Goshen has a very welcoming, laid back and jolly personality however on the other side of the coin when angered has occasional uncontrollable rage and a bad temper when angered but hard to anger overall.
Goshen was born into a Large Irish Catholic family that came from Vault 13 after the terrible business with the Enclave. He was the oldest of 7 children 3 boys and 4 girls. They were a very religious family. He was taught to read and write at a young age and studied the classics. When his family went on a caravan expedition to Nevada they were ambushed and he was taken into the Legion. He was spared slavery but at the high cost of Military Service. Goshen has no knowledge of what became of his family during the raid. The Legion raised him and he befriended an old legionary named Titus who taught him the art of brewing spirits and beer in his down time. Goshen quickly gained infamy in the legion due to his size and stature. He quickly claimed rank and gained favor due to his performance in the front line of battles and was known as a Berker. He took advantage of the literature and the strategic training Caesar provided his commanding officers, however was disgusted with Slavery and the unnecessary brutality beyond the battle field. He enjoyed reading and Poetry between conflicts. He indulged in spirits and beer and would be considered a connoisseur of the wasteland. During the escalation in the conflict between the NCR and the Legion Goshen lynched a well-known legate for ordering him to massacre woman and children. He took out his unit using a farming scythe and ushered the woman and children into an NCR outpost where he divulged tactics and strategic information for a pardon. He had a black smith forge the scythe he used in usurping the Legion into a combat effective weapon that was attached to a chain and a counter weight. He kept the branding of the Legion on his upper right shoulder with the word obliviscar under it. Goshen longs for the life of a solider once again however has begun his journey into the wasteland to find himself. Had a Brief run in with the BOS while investigating an abandoned military base from the Great War. He was able to scavenge a shotgun and ammo without angering the BOS by sharing a bottle of homemade whiskey with the commander and helping them put down a horde of feral ghouls in the base. Goshen maintains good standing with most caravans due a recent incident with the Khans and the Crimson Caravan. He always enjoyed a good fight.
