As some of you may have noticed, tags have been edited into the titles of your character submission threads. Sometimes it's difficult for us to keep track of what has been looked at and what hasn't, so we're implementing a new system to try and streamline the way we handle your character submissions. From now on, try and add one of the following tags to the title of your post while you're working on it, and after you edit it.
[Work in Progress]/[WIP] - The character (or other submission sheet) is a Work In Progress, and isn't quite yet ready for review. If you see one of these added to your sheet and you didn't put it there yourself, we've probably added it due to blank spaces in your sheet.
[Needs Revision]/[NR] - The character has been reviewed by the staff, and something in it stuck out to us. If you see one of these without a reply on the sheet, you've probably overlooked one of our rulings, such as a three paragraph history or you've used the wrong template. Otherwise, there should be a reply as to what needs revision or explanation. After you've made the necessary edits, reply to the thread with edits you have made and if the edits are sufficient, the Mod will approve your character and change the tag to [Second Approval].
[Second Approval]/[SA] - This is mainly for our benefit, so we know that a thread has an approval and is ready for another staff to come review the sheet. Don't worry about this one, you won't need to add this to anything.
Leave the tag space blank if the sheet is ready for our Staff to review it for approval. This should be added when the character is ready to go, or if you've finished your WIP version. This will alert our Staff that it is ready for a first look.
In addition to these, when necessary we may add other tags to profiles, such as a [Awaiting Guide] if the sheet in question needs an approved guide to accompany it, or [Awaiting Faction] if a character needs a faction approved for use before it can be approved. If you see one of these on your character and they aren't waiting on anything any longer, be sure to change it back to [Under Review] so we know to give it another look.
If you have any questions about this, feel free to shoot us a PM or ask us the next time you see us. Hopefully this will expedite the time it takes us to get your characters reviewed and approved and create less confusion on what has and hasn't been revised.
