Arisa Serv'laya, dark haired, milk tea skin and an appetite for danger. She is known to be somewhat of a hardass, as well as an expert in sarcasm and piloting. She can fly you through an asteroid field and back, drop you off at the nearest station and extort even more credits out of you than you owe her.
Sadov Hori, aristocratic features, blonde hair and golden eyes. Former Je'har agent gone rogue at the beginning of the Grand Almanian War. Working for, at the beginning, the Constitutionalists until captured by the Royalists. His bragging and smug attitude have left many angry and quite annoyed at this man's superiority complex. Though no one can question his ability to finish things quickly and quietly. (Though he will brag about it later, constantly...)
Kyli Quine, red haired ex-slave for the Je'har even before the Grand Almanian War, freed alongside the other four. Though rather than them simply earning a new bracelet, to be removed later, Kyli earned a brand of the Je'har. With a strong sense of loyalty to her captain and a ruthless attitude for Hutts and Slavers, she makes a great companion for the roads to hunt Pirates down, though diplomatically she should be kept out of any negotiation revolving around the Hutts.
Zexik, a quiet red eyed Verpine who actually was forced to serve in the Grand Almanian War alongside Cyrad's second squad. The two became close friends and throughout the war and post-war indenturement they stayed together in a close friendship, smuggling extra food to each other and helping each other whenever the going got tough. Zexik, or Zxz'ik himself is a very quiet Verpine, sticking to himself and his technology. Though, he has become much more vocal being a crewman aboard the Star Gazer, the technology surrounding him making him burst with glee as he and the entire Verpine race have an odd aptitude with technology. He is slightly bullied around as the only alien on board, being called 'Buggie' by Sadov and Kyli, though the Verpine can count on Cyrad to respect him.
Personal Information
Factional Affiliation: Independent, though Cyrad does prefer to work for the Imperial Remnant.
Rank: None.
Sexual Preference: Heterosexual. (If not a bit Bi-curious.)
Relationship Status: Single.
Personality: "You are honestly, the most optimistically depressing person I've ever met." ~Arisa C. Serv'laya
Cyrad is one of the few in the galaxy capable of cracking a joke during the most serious of times which is not always appropriate, but it [his jokes] tends to lighten the mood to some extent. This does lead to Cyrad's downfall, causing many a person to find either annoyance or disgruntledness upon his jokes, which in many cases leads to either a snarky remark or a simple physical response. Cyrad also tends to be a bit scatterbrained, forgetting even the most simple things, though his somewhat astounding amount of luck helps him within this sector of his flaws, it doesn't always succeed. Always bubbling with optimism and wanting to talk enough to make a Gungan run away, Cyrad is certainly an odd person to meet and to see him fight an even stranger occurrence due to his odd choice in weaponry.
History
~Beginnings (1ABY-17ABY)~
The start of Cypranjrad's existence begins, on a cold and windy planet located in the Almanian system known as "Almania". This system, was located on the northern fringes of the 'Perlemian Trade Route' in a region known to the Galaxy as the Borderlands. Being born to a family of a relatively simple and semi-peaceful life, his parents being merchants for the borderlands was known to be a hazard, though not as bad as the Hutt Space regions or Wild Lands, the Borderlands still had their fair share of dangers. Almania was a constant target to small Slaver and Priate raids, Almania was quite capable of defending itself from Piracy and most small dangers, though internally the planet was in utter chaos. Left and right, powerplays and coups turned the planet into a politically divided mess. The Je'har (The Upper caste tyrannical rulers of Almania) forced their iron fisted rule across the planet, though many still wished for different regimes and ideologies to be accepted into the government, the Je'har kept the planet's populace under a tight oligarchic dictatorship under their own wishes.
Cypranjrad, once he reached the age of sixteen was sucked into this chaotic mess, his small Anarchistic city took the chance to become politically independent after Kural'Deen, leader of the Je'har, was assassinated by a small splinter group within the Je'har which wished to overthrow the man. After so, the government went under a small breakdown, where a 'Purge' was enacted throughout the Je'har, to "Cleanse the Grand Dome of all opposing factions." though, this did just the opposite as many of the cleansing survivors took control of the differing groups across the planet. Cyrad's community soon raised to a small power under the leadership of Chief Lieutenant Aurelius Vercet, the chief of local security forces around the five or so cities in the region. Declaring their independence from the tyrannical Je'har soon brought many other groups to declare their intentions. Across the planet, communities of cities and collectives of like-minded powers raged their war against the Je’har regime and each other. Cyrad's community soon became apart of the ACA (Almenian Collective of Anarchism.) which became one of the minor powers to solidify during the first year of the great uprising. The major powers began making their way to the top, absorbing either by force or diplomacy the surrounding minor factions. (Though like Cyrad's, many stood independent.) The powers of Almania began to fight for the Grand Dome, bloodying the planet as the wealthier moon colonies around the planet ignored the situation, and the New Republic, which previously opened diplomacy to the planet, seemingly forgot about them. Cypranjrad was soon conscripted into the ACA Milita, to combat the other powers to preserve their newly found nation.
~The Grand Almanian War (17ABY-22ABY)~
Cyrad was officially conscripted into the fifth brigade, A company, third platoon, second squad, where he soon joined the other conscriptee's of Urilas (The City where he hailed from.) in the fight against the Je'har Royalists, who planned to annex them back under the grip of the Je'har's old rule. Unfortunately for fifth brigade, they were supplied with old junk rifles, tusken cyclers and even makeshift slugthrowers made of spare engine parts, gaining the name the 'Almanian Thruster Rifle' or the ATR-0025. The Je'har royalists were equipped with old Almanian military equipment, easily out-gunning the poorly equipped milita. Soon, when the conflict arose between the neighbouring nations, Cyrad's brigade being sent off into the fray.
There was in actuality very little action for his company in the beginning, usually being sent for engineering jobs to set up fortifications, every once in a while there would be a scouting party to attack and raid their trenches and barricades, but second squad proved to be more than capable to hold back small raiding parties. The Grand Almanian war raged on, until most of the original factions that once scattered the globe were once again consumed by the old Je'har caste's military followers and old regime members. The ACA being one of the last bastions of the old uprising was quickly falling against the Je'har's might. The ACA fought back desperately in an attempt to preserve themselves. The Je'har Royalist's marched toward the northern cities of the Collective, which supplied the ACA with much needed Bacta (The cities being Bacta Industrious.) for soldiers wounded in combat. Fighting in the windy, barren fields of Ariean just outside the cities, the fifth brigade was tasked with holding the line as an evacuation was called, to move civilians and Bacta to the inner cities. During the large battle, Cyrad's squadron was soon pinned down near the city as a small light armour detachment ran through their makeshift defensive lines, the light armour would've easily turned his squad into target practice, so in a slightly defiant move, Cyrad convinced his squad to retreat into the southern end of the city and take refuge in one of the many high rises rather than stand and fight against the impossible. Soon after, his squad as well as the ACA itself was forced to surrender and many of them, including Cyrad, were taken into custody and placed into either Penal Battalions or slavery.
Soon the last year of the war came, being placed into the one hundred-fiftieth Penal Battalion, he then was forced to fight against the remaining major powers, who beat themselves to pulps during the previous years, allowing the Royalists to push into their territory and swiftly resume control over Almania. Forcing Cyrad to become an indentured servant under one of the Je'har lords of the Grand Dome, Lord Baron Yliess Jurain'tal to serve the rest of his Penal term for the next thirty years.
~Escape from Slavery (24ABY-Early 25ABY)~
Cyrad was now two years into his indentured servitude, twenty eight years left upon his Penal Term. Working day in and out for his Lord Baron, trivial tasks that the Lord Baron was either to busy or lazy to perform. Though he wasn't alone, many of his old platoon had been forced into indentured servitude, some were actually given to the Lord Baron he was given too, so every now and a then his fellow indentured servants would gather after their master had no need of them to reconcile and talk about various things that happened to them, and how to avoid such happenings again. These meeting became more frequent, the normal subject on what the group would do when they would finally be allowed to leave, soon though, the group of servants began to speak of a chance to escape. The Lord Baron was leaving for a diplomatic trip to Pydyr, the wealthy moon colony orbiting Almania, in a week giving the servants a possible chance to escape from the planet and free themselves. How exactly the servants would do it, was still a work-in-progress, ideas and suggestions were thrown around the group until one sparked the attention of everyone in their small gathering room. A man by the name of Corantal ran a small merchant convoy, passing by the Grand Dome during the Lord Baron's leave. The plan was to smuggle themselves on board the merchants freightship and hope that the Je'har wouldn't find out until they left the system inside the merchant's cargo.
A week passed by, giving the small group of servants their chance to finalise the plan of escape. Cyrad volunteered out of the group to find the best way onto the ship, as it was landed in the Grand Dome's Hangar bay. He acted as if he was cleaning the hangar bay to bypass the guards, which took a dull two hours of acting as a janitor to finally get them off his neck, after the guardsmen left the servant to his own devices, he made his way onboard one of the nearby freighters, shuffling about the various cargo, quite happily as he doubted this would actually work, to find a few appropriately sized freight containers to smuggle his fellow servants into. Though this moment of happiness for Cyrad would soon draw to an end as one of the convoy's pilot-for-hires discovered the servant. Upon discovery, the very distressed Cyrad soon began stuttering and clumsily explaining why he was upon her convoy's freighter, which soon drew the attention of the three guards that were near the entrance of the hangar bay. Cyrad began to scavenge around the ship desperatley for some sort of weapon, leading to the woman finding Cyrad then stopped him from his slight nervous breakdown to explain what she was about to do. As the guards entered the freighter, the pilot was seen scolding Cyrad for not cleaning the deflector duct correctly. Asking the pilot a few questions, the guard's soon left, leaving the pilot and the servant alone. The pilot soon demanded what exactly was the servant doing on board her employer's ship, to learn the entire plot of the soon to be used escape plan. After learning of the plan, she offered Cyrad her help, to the servant's surprise, asking why soon after she offered, the pilot simply replied "I need a few hands on my ship, if I help you escape, you have to work for me." This was an odd offer, to say the least but Cyrad snatched the chance at freedom and thanked the pilot countless times before the pilot, now known as Arisa, sent him off to tell his other conspirators.
The small crew of servants, though slightly unwilling to yet again go into the service of another person agreed with the pilot's new offer. The day after, Arisa drew the attention of the main bulk of guardsmen in the hangar by setting off the alarm by the Lord Baron's personal vault. This allowed for a small window, before the guards locked down all rooms in search of what caused it, for the servants to haul themselves into Arisa's YT-1760, which she called the 'Star Gazer', though before he did so, Cyrad made a quite idiotic and daring dash to his confiscated belongings from the war, his coat and rifle, that's all he wanted back, but to do so he needed to run towards the holding cells, where the confiscated servant's belongings would be. He made his way into the holding cells to liberate his belongings, only to be found by a fireteam of guards, which then proceeded to become a quite cinematic chase down the halls of the Grand Dome, Cyrad scooping his equipment up before dashing across the large building with guards on a hot pursuit. Losing the guards seemed impossible, and the servant decided that the best course of action to take here, was to block them from actually catching him. Which then resulted in the servant firing off a slug into the Hangar Bay's auxiliary console near the back of the hangar, which controlled the blast doors leading into the hangar itself. The blast forced the doors to begin lockdown sequence, forcing the servant to dive into the hangar, avoiding the oncoming platoon of guards. Though not fully unscathed, Cyrad made his way on board the Star Gazer as the other servants stashed themselves within the floor panels for the next two days, Arisa providing rations to the hidden refugees as the Je'har's Royal army searched relentlessly for Cyrad, and any other possible escapee. Searching throughout the freighters and cargo, the Je'har began to search out of the Dome, releasing the tense grip upon the ships so they could leave the planet the next day.
Leaving the planet behind, the refugees celebrated as their home faded away into the distance of space, though at the same time saddened at the fact they could not return, the newly freed servants were more than happy to not spend the rest of their lives as slaves. The Star Gazer then gained a new crew, the four refugees kept their promise to the captain of the vessel, becoming a crew of hireable mercenaries, be it a simple freighter crew or bounty job, even the occasional smuggling run, the Star Gazer and her crew soon joined the ranks of independent. No allegiances and no restrictions, the Star Gazer's crew found themselves visiting various worlds and factions for various jobs, and handsome pay.
~Present(25ABY-)~
Now, the crew has settled around Hutt Space for the time being, taking various jobs from Hutts, Pirates and Local Planetary Governments to hunt down troublesome pirates, rivals or even perform rescue missions from the Hutts as many fall victim to their large cartels of crime. Cyrad has become known as a crackshot and has modified his rifle to quite the extent to better his ability to combat situations of various variables, as well as purchasing armour for his coat that the Militia requisitioned him long ago.
The Star Gazer's crew was recently given a job to become a bit of added muscle to the Hutts of the station known as 'Lyran'. Though not fond of Hutts, Arisa accepted and now the Star Gazer lays among the docks of Lyran Station, her crew preparing to operate under the wing of the Lyran Hutts until the end of the week.
