Fragile, or as it was originally known the Elegant Hazard, started off life a few years prior to the outbreak of the Clone Wars, originally being sold to a particularly well-off diplomat from Onderon, Lendon Kessix.  The machine served peacefully for a time, mostly as Kessix's personal ferry vessel, though occasionally the ship was forced to combat pirates or slavers who hoped to capture Kessix for ransom.  The Hazard soon acquired a few sister ships, partially from Lendon himself but mostly from other members of the Kessix family.  Those out of the political loop thought that they were trying to get into mercenary work... of course the idiocy of that statement soon became evident when the Confederacy of Independent Systems came to be and all of the Kessix Marauder's were handed over to the Seperatists as their donation to the cause.  Of course, Republic Sienar soon began selling the ships to the Confederacy too, so the Kessix Marauder's wound up getting mixed in with the bunch, including the Elegant Hazard.

For the most part, the Hazard was relegated to support and patrol duties, participating in minor battles and, when those weren't happening, hunting for smaller Republic patrols.  Eventually, she was badly damaged near Felucia and forced to seek a friendly port not under active assault, and thus wound up on Zygerria.  On Zygerria, the Hazard found itself in a spaceport owned by Firna Vucora, a second cousin of the current queen.  Now, while the Zygerrians were members of the Confederacy, Lady Firna could see the way the wind was blowing and that the Seperatists' days were numbered, and was debating what to do with the warship now sitting in one of her docks, whether it would even be worth it to the war effort.  Two days after repairs began, Count Dooku and Anakin Skywalker murdered Queen Miraj Scintel.  That was all the excuse she needed.  In the wild flurry of political wrangling that ensued, debating whether or not to stay with the Confederacy, the Vucora's decided that they would oppose the Confederacy under the completely legitimate excuse that THEY MURDERED THEIR QUEEN.  And so, the Elegant Hazard was confiscated and its crew pressed into slavery.  Thus a warship was adopted by Lady Firna at only repair costs.

Redubbed Fragile, perhaps as some joke about how it was acquired, the ship took some time to be repaired; in fact the war was nearly over before she was up and running again.  Something that Firna made damn sure of was that the ship was altered, especially in the shielding and armor department, so that it wouldn't be damaged like this again.  Afterwards, she took it as her personal enforcement ship and, not long later, "mysteriously" was given a governorship by the previous governor of the planet.  Fragile had a cozy life from there, seeing occasional modifications from time to time, occasionally seeing combat to handle people who interfered with operations or as an escort to particularly valuable slave shipments (and to get some fresh slaves from captured starships on the side).  As common as the improvements were, most of them were minor or done to the interior to make it a little more comfortable.  Eventually, Firna died of natural causes, and passed it on to her eldest daughter, Yora.  Yora used it much as her mother had, putting pressure on those who irritated her and as a personal ferry.  Eventually Yora was assassinated by one of her slaves and the ship was given to her daughter, Saika.  It has remained in Saika's employ since, though she has been a little more quiet about its use.  Unfortunately for the Fragile, Therritha, the ship which Saika was governor of, soon fell under Republic control, and has thus been more constrained than usual.  It still sees action, but the craft is mostly used now for ferrying and hunting down vigilantes who attempt to harm her operations rather than its traditional slave escort jobs.  However, that has also led to some new equipment, including its electronic warfare suite: after all, she can't have people telling of a governor's ship opening up on them, now can she?  So far, Fragile has slipped under the Republic's radar beyond it being a personal transportation vessel, the few tales of the ship being used in combat nowadays being from sources who seem to mysteriously disappear.
