Build: He sports a frame wider than most with a slight undertone of muscle.
Distinguishing Features: He wears a Pip-Boy despite not being from a vault.
Profession: Ex-NCR soldier and almost Ranger, now a wasteland prospector.
Skills: Craftsmanship, Firearms, and Survival.
Training: His mother and father started him down the road to becoming a Desert Ranger before and after the Ranger Unification Treaty of 2271. His Abuelito also taught him how to survive off the land and how to interact with wildlife. During his time as an NCR soldier, he learned basic first aid and Diplomacy 101 but not much else he already learned.
Other Abilities: Being the son to two Mexican rancheros, he learned nearly every way to prepare and cook almost any meat he came across.
Apparel: He sports his father's old Pre-NCR Desert Ranger gear, augmented only slight in that the trench coat now has a hood. He only wears his helmet during combat or for night time exploring. When he is traveling in the day he wears goggles and a breathing mask to protect himself from radiation. He will remove all facial gear while in a civilized area. On his back rests a large, patch work leather backpack, complete with bed roll for long nights under the stars.
Weaponry: He is well versed in many firearms, large and small. His preferred weapons, however, are a M1 Garand style battle rifle named Virtue and his unscoped .44 Hunting Revolver named Vise. He marks Virtue for each person he could have killed but didn't that became a better person and Vise for each person he didn't have to kill but did. He fears Virtue will run out of room long before Vise does, while Vise only has two strikes on it.
Other Equipment: He also carries a combat knife he calls 'Plan K for knife' in extreme emergencies. Along with that he likes to have a minimum of 3 to 5 stimpacks at all times, a travelers first aid kit, antivenom, two canteens of water and various dried meats. He is almost never without a Nuka-Cola and Snack Cakes.
Affiliation: Simon is in good standing with the NCR due to his former occupation and his family's history of being in the Desert Rangers. He personally loves the Followers and is know to help them whenever he can, believing they are truly making the wasteland a better place. He is not known for hating any factions as a whole until the Legion came along, and even them he wanted to believe he could help a few poor souls find a better path. He almost did once.
Religious Belief: Through trading with the New Canaanites and his Abuelito, he learned of Mormonism, Christianity, and Heaven. While he takes their religious teachings as just another way to keep yourself happy in the wastes, a part of him hopes that there is an afterlife so he can see all of his friends and family again, and promptly kick their asses for kicking the bucket before him. In a loving manner of course.

Personality: He is an optimist and a jolly character, taking time to enjoy the good things in life and sharing as much as he can. He takes his time with others and likes to learn. His preferred method of ending conflict is with words, but isn't a slouch with bullets.
