Weaponry: Ru's saber is dual phased, and uses focusing crystals to switch the blade between 1.18 and 90 centimeters. Additionally he carries a lightsaber shoto, also using a focusing crystal to keep the blade around 30 centimeters. Both of his weapons have white-silver blade colors.

Skills: Thanks to his upbringing by highly force sensitive individuals, and due to his education at the Jedi academy, Ru has become quite skilled at the arts of the Jedi, though he is most notably known for his master of the blade, and martial arts. On top of Thyrsian martial artistry, Ru has honed his skill as a wielder of the Jedi weapon of choice; utilizing, Niman, Makashi, and his own developed lightsaber style, Ru has forged his body into a deadly force of nature, additionally Ru has learned a little in the way of the force, but has been at odds with his ability to command the force. His last notable skill is piloting, which he has been working towards since he began as a padawan, though he has little practical experience in the field flying ships.

Relationship Status: Though he has been advised against it by his overseers, Ru has maintained several relationships with various individuals around Coruscant, and has recently begun courting a young girl in Coruscant.

Personality: Though Ru can be quite vein, and cocky at times, it has led him to be mostly caring, and compassionate towards others (even if only to elevate his own superiority), he has been known to be somewhat emotionally un-adept, and is fairly insecure about his lack of emotions at times, even if it keeps him on the lighter path. Though others may not notice, Ru can be highly manipulative though masks this through being seemingly genuine, morally he regards himself as being highly utilitarian, and will always weigh the needs of the many over the few, and choose to save the majority, over a minority; however he has rarely been put in a situation where such a snap decision may need to be made. He has always elevated himself as a highly individualistic, and fiercely independent person, which can make it difficult for him to work on a team, or even with a partner at times.

Born on planet Thyrus, in the same year as the humble beginnings of the new Jedi order. Ru was raised by his parents who were staunch supporters of the sun guard, whom their lineage was traced to over the centuries, and were immensly proud of their Sith-aligned history, and their races dominance of the battlefield at their peak, they felt it was their duty to raise a child who would hold the same values. However his parents dreamed of something bigger for their family, and for their legacy, they decided a bright future would wait them in a more centralized planet, and that they could help organize the movement to reinstate the Sun-guards dominance of the battlefield once again. In the end they decided the best place for their movement would be the center of humanity: Coruscant.

As a three year old growing up in Coruscant, Ru was an extremely curious child, often wondering away from his families safe home though always managing to find his way human, even if local authorities had to drag him there, but the streets were no safe place for a child of his age, it was luck for him that during one of his toddler escapades he was greeted by a seemingly gentle middle aged man. The man dressed in long brown robes, and spoke in abstract terminology, the man was fond of telling the child stories of the great heroes, and villains of the world, but he constantly played up the roles of the great heroes, for many days the man told the boy of these stories, and always returned him home to his parents. It was not long before the man caught on to the parents alignment, it was quite clear they were supporters of the sun-guard, but not only this, he detected that his parents were highly force sensitive, and it was likely no surprise to Ru's parents that the man, their child was listening to was indeed a member of the jedi order before its collapse, his name was adnan habrinjee, a well respected member of the order from many years ago, who had only recently returned to the order to help where he could with new pupils.

By day a struggle to teach the child the ways of light would fall on the shoulders of the disheveled man, while night would belong to the child's parents who would regale him with stories of the power, and might of the Sith, and the Sun-guard. However the battle was inevitably one by the Jedi, who took the child in to the New Jedi Order's headquarters and began training him, the child would occasionally join the larger group of children for training, but occasionally he would take the child for more technical training, specifically that in the way of lightsaber training. Though his parents seemed highly proficient in the force, the master Jedi struggled to find great strength in the force from his new pupil, he figured that with maturity a stronger sense may emerge, but for now, the safest bet was to train lightsaber basics, and allow the large classes to handle the force basics. This entire plan was a dangerous gambit, if the child's parents caught wind of the Jedi's plan they would certainly pull the two away, as it is they were uneasy of the mans presence, but they assumed their teachings at home would be enough to keep their child away from the Jedi.

From a very young age Ru's parents began training him in the ways of the Echani, and Thyrsian martial arts, explaining to him the intricacies of communication their people shared through combat, and how to convey his own self in combat. The young boy took these disciplines on quickly, and was fast turning himself into a highly tuned weapon.

Beyond all this instruction the boy was also a free spirit at heart however, still constantly roaming the streets of Coruscant, and meeting new people, the long days where he was able to go out and be himself were among his favorite.

By the age of ten his master deemed it necessary to excel his pupil to the rank of padawan, and began teaching him the greater nuances of sword-play, and indeed the ways of the force. After becoming a padawan, Ru shaved most of the left side of his head, to signify himself as an individual among the order. By way of his instruction his masters patience payed off, and it turned out the boy was indeed force sensitive, if only moderately so. His master quickly figured out the child's juvenile disinterest in the ways of the force though, he was fine with the meditating, and the serenity of the matter, but it seemed to Master Habrinjee that his pupil found more solace, and a greater center in himself while fighting, training, and focusing on his body rather than his mind, he figured it merely a circumstance of his surroundings and culture that he ended up in such a way.

Ru considered his teen years to be some of his greatest years of discovery, but his knowledge was not found at the academy or even in the comfort of his own home, rather his discoveries came from his promiscuity on his own, as a teenager he ran off from his Master, and his parents to meet, and explore the city with new friends. Some of which became close loves, and though his teachers at the academy always warned him of the dangers of tempting pleasures on, and off the field of combat, Ru could not help himself from exploring his own sexuality, and became quite popular among his friends. In fact many of the female members of his entourage were quite fond of calling him by his nickname: "Ru the Suave" for his immensely attractive appearance, and his nuanced charm.

Only a few short years after his induction in to the ranks of Padawan, he began assembling his own lightsaber, opting initially for a silver bladed weapon, to symbolize his connection to the light. It was through his years as a padawan that he took to modifying his new weapon, he began by messing with the focusing systems to make his saber dual phased, though he almost exclusively left his saber on the long end, figuring that it would give him a reach advantage over his opponents, Ru was quickly learning the ways of the lightsaber, but had his own slant on the fighting styles, while he quite closely followed the initial teachings of Makashi (and his later adopted Niman), it became clear that his style was beginning to manifest itself as something completely unique, where most jedi would be focusing on hacking and slashing Ru opted instead to make bold thrusts, asserting himself inward dangerously towards his opponents to shock, and subdue them, in a quick calculated jab. As this style was enhanced over time Ru found himself adding another tool to his arsenal, specifically a lightsaber shoto, which he increased to a length which suited a purpose of defense, he noticed that in his stance were many openings that could easily be closed by incorporating a shoto to quickly parry, or even disarm his opponents, creating holes, and openings for a close strike. Though he has yet to name this technique he has commonly referred to it as a Main-Gauche focusing on his use of the left handed parrying move.

Nearing the later ends of his teenager years, Ru had holistically begun blending the martial artistry of his people with the teachings of his master, turning himself into a creative, calculative weapon to be used by the Jedi order, and seeing this in his pupil, Habrinjee decided Ru should begin the process of becoming a true knight of the order. His five Trials began for him with the trial of spirit. If his master was being honest he would say he was not wholly sure that his apprentice would be able to meet the challenge, and if you ask him today he may still question his padawans discovery, but his trip began not unlike most. Ru was sent deep into the jungle of a far away world to meditate for seven days, and seven nights, and on that seventh night of meditation Ru found something in himself which startled him greatly, he was not confronted with a great evil, but was confronted with a depiction of himself that he may have always secretly known was there. An image of himself as an emotionless Thyrsian, a person simply born without the common emotional sensitivities of most species in the universe, for six more days Ru struggled with the image of himself as an "emotionless zombie" but on his fourteenth night he came to terms with himself in this light, though even though he could tolerate, and accept it, it is unknown if he ever truly accepted himself as such, by so many of his friends he thought he was beloved, and he thought they offered him great happiness, and he thought he offered them immense love, and respect, but despite all this he had to come to turns with his severe lack of emotional sensibility.

It was difficult for him to move back into his training, but after convincing from his master he decided it was best that he continued along his path, perhaps neglecting his thoughts on this new discovery. Ru's second trial came with a challenge all in its own, he was tasked with a trial of skill, and was met with droids trained in six of the seven forms of lightsaber training (excluding vapaad from the systems for obvious reasons). They were programmed knowing all of the nuances, and technical know-how of the lightsaber forms, defeating them seemed like an impossible task to Ru at first, realizing that they new all of the essentials of lightsaber combat, and could easily evade, or block technical moves. However in his intelligence, and skill for the saber Ru discovered the droids downfall, they knew nothing of the intricacies of creativity in lightsaber fighting, so Ru used his own resourcefulness utilizing his knowledge of Thyrsian martial arts, and his own lightsaber form to get around the droids knowledge of the forms, innovating, and undermining its strategy, and inevitably destroying it.

Next came the trial of insight, this was another trial Ru's master figured may be difficult if not impossible for him, even with the use of the force he knew the task would be difficult but without the ability he contemplated on it being outright impossible. His task was to prove the innocence of a citizen accused of being a murderer, of course the citizen was not a murderer nor was anyone involved actually connected in anyway, in fact the entire trial was fabricated by Habrinjee. It was Ru's task to interrogate those thought to be involved in the murder by first learning who in fact was involved through the supposed murderer, to make matters worse, the accused murderer was adamant in admitting their own guilt. Through several weeks Ru focused, and studied the people involved, struggling to figure out the pieces, his master figured that the only way to truly succeed was by extracting information through the force, but in the end Ru ended up relying on no Jedi mind tricks, no knowledge extractions, but rather simple logical questions based on Axioms, and his own homespun charm, to schmooze, and learn the intent of the suspects, in the end he approached his master with a list of irrefutable axioms on which he could evaluate the individuals innocence. It was not the steps his master intended him to take but the evidence mounted in his favor, and his third trial was passed.

Currently Ru is still working on his trials, though has yet to receive his fourth, and fifth trials.

His is a story of turning have-nots into have's, born without the ineptitude for the force like his ancestors, he made lemons out of lemonade by enhancing his body in the ways of martial arts. His next challenge now comes with being born with acute, or possibly even imaginary emotions, this discovery will shake his very humanity, and make him question his place as an ethical citizen, and a dutiful Jedi.
