Overall, he is typically a magnanimous person but is often shunned by those around him due to his birth deformities and intimidating physique.
Thrives-In-Outlands is a very peaceful and non-violent Argonian. His personality and traits contrast greatly with Naga ancestors' violent culture. Despite being born into the warrior caste, Thrives-in-Outlands' physical deformities at birth prevented him from becoming a respected warrior. Accepting his fate at a young age, Thrives-In-Outlands' dream was to direct his people into an age of peace and autonomy. Thrives-In-Outlands was an extremely intelligent and elusive Argonian, often finding loopholes in Naga teachings and propaganda that had fooled his simple-minded siblings and peers. He also would often eavesdrop the shamans and mages, gathering knowledge of their magicks. This, combined with his natural Argonian abilities, made him a powerful foe as well as a smart one.Eventually, the Naga tribe elders became frustrated with Thrives-In-Outlands' peaceful infidelity, so they decided to send him into an inescapable situation to suppress his 'corrupt' influence. Seeing past their lies and trickery, Thrives-In-Outlands secretly entered the sacred Hist Tree temple and stole a vial of Histsap. Using the Histsap and a variety of stolen spices, he concocted a potion. The potion was masking agent - Thrives-In-Outlands would essentially become invisible to the dangers that awaited him.
The next day, Thrives-In-Outlands was taken by Naga warriors and thrown into a dark, watery abyss. However, they were unaware of his plan. Thrives-In-Outlands emerged from the abyss unscathed less than a week later, to the bewilderment of the tribesmen. Impressed with his impossible feat, they offered him a position as a high warrior in the Naga militia. He immediately rejected the offer, and instead informed them that he was going on a peaceful pilgrimage across Tamriel. He offered for anyone to join him, but was met with dejection as his former family and friends no longer considered him an ally. He would then go on to cross the landscape of Tamriel until he arrived at his first destination - the icy land of Skyrim.
