She is extremely important mediator between Curators and The Archive.
She also collects items in her spare time, often with Corvus Blackwater (for old times sakes).

Personality: Jessica is as cold as ice.... but she can make your heart melt quite easily.
In personality, Jessica is kind, charitable, organizational and takes no shit. She is extremely hostile to those who show hostility to her, which often has been the doom of many Raiders. She has a hatred towards The Brotherhood of Steel, for example, who pulled the Rivet City reactor. However, the opposite of this, is she is extremely kind and charitable to those in need and whom are kind to her. She chooses her words carefully and selectively, sometimes being purposely sarcastic in speech.
Being one of the founders of The Curators and having a devoted, important role as a Curator, Jessica takes great pride in her work, practically having given her life to it. When given a problem, Jessica stays on that problem, taking the wise words of Albert Einstein: "It's not that I'm so smart, it's just I stay with problems longer."
She is also very protective, taking caution in her steps and words to avoid un-wanted thieves of knowledge.
History:
Jessica Athena Rose was born in Rivet City in 2262, having loving parents, one a merchant and the other a member of the Rivet City security. Within Rivet City, she grew up around the Rivet City museum, learning how to read and write. Her parents quickly noticed this trait that Jessica was interested in both knowledge and teaching others what she has read.... so they got her more books when they could. Due to this... Jessica actually managed to teach quite a few people in Rivet City about the world before the war.
She was not, however, shrouded by the outside world. Jessica often got to saw the outside world from a young age, going on "trips" outside Rivet City for collecting scraps, though she never went far due to Super Mutants.
She grew up quite happily in Rivet City with this pattern, often helping others in all matters. That was until Rivet City was abandoned. The Brotherhood of Steel pulled out the Rivet City reactor... much to Jessica's hatred. Jessica helped a lot of people who didn't join The Brotherhood to either Megaton or Bethesda. After helping, she settled in Bethesda, often buying and collecting pre-war books when she could... though she had no real trade or purpose now that Rivet City was gone.
In 2280, at the age of 18, a friend had told her about a magazine inside the Super Duper Mart, between Megaton and Bethesda, still intact and ignored by age. Because of her love for pre-war books, she went and found the magazine, only to be confronted with Corvus Blackwater, a man she at first was very wary of... but later became very good friends with due to similar interests.
Between the years 2280 - 2285, Corvus and Jessica went on some wild adventures to uncover pre-war scrap and pre-war books. Though despite this, she never saw Corvus as a love interest due to her attraction to the same gender rather than the opposite. Instead, she saw Corvus as a brotherly figure.
In 2285, everything changed and Jessica found purpose. It all started by her idea to explore the Arlington Library with Corvus, which Corvus warned was full of Brotherhood (who, as you might guess, Jessica had a hatred for). She encouraged they still go and sneak around, but unexpected to Jessica, someone else was also sneaking around- when Corvus pulled both of them out, she met Lucy, a woman from Little Lamplight who she could have a decent conversation with. To Jessica, this was a shock- not only was Lucy very intelligent, she was also very oblivious to the Capital Wasteland's horrors, despite having walked through it many times. Jessica actually fell in love with Lucy, in what way she had no idea- either as a lover or a sister, Lucy was also oblivious....as was Corvus.
The trio decided to go to The Georgetown Public Library inside the DC ruins where Jessica had hoped to find some pre-war books, but only found many traps. When Lucy was shot in the knee by a trap, Jessica had a moment of sadness she had not felt since Rivet City was abandoned- a sense of loss, a sense of great sorrow and a sense of failure to protect another. Luckily, the two ghouls that set the traps, Mr. and Mrs. O'malley, rushed out to aid the wounded Lucy and invited both Jessica and Corvus into their home, having found them non-aggressive.
It was here Jessica found her purpose. After talking with the Ghoul-couple, Lucy and convincing Corvus, they all agreed to aid the Capital Wasteland in regaining lost (or even new) knowledge. The underground library was a dream to Jessica and she wanted everyone to make the most of it, without having the ability to actually read. Because of Jessica's ideas, Lucy agreed to stay in the underground library (later The Archive) and find out everything she could about it... while Corvus, herself and the ghouls find items and knowledge in the Wasteland to collect.
In the years to come, Jessica took on a primary role within The Curators. She was an organizational figure, seeing possible members, staying in contact with members and organizing items that go in (and out) of The Archive. She maintains a very close relationship to the oblivious Lucy (now "The Librarian"), feeling a sense of protection to her. She also stays close to Corvus, travelling with him from time to time on Curator missions. Jessica maintains this position in The Curators with great pride. It's easy to understand that Jessica cannot easily be replaced.
In 2288, Jessica was extremely excited to enforce the original plan of The Curators, now that they had become a bigger (and secret) faction in The Capital Wasteland. She told everyone that by 2290, she wanted all Curators to begin teaching the Wasteland in all fields of knowledge, taking knowledge from The Archive and spreading it. It was because of this idea that she dragged Corvus Blackwater to meet Three Dog, whom ultimately supported their ideas.
Three Dog supplied The Curators with Long-Range Transmitters for their missions, in exchange, The Curators gave their promise to put support into "the good fight." This was all Jessica Rose's idea.
Jessica Rose today still holds an important and spartan position among The Curators and fulfills it as her lives work.
