Personality: The name "Mad Dog" is not simply a similar relation to the name "Madog", but an observation. While not medically 'mad', Madog is quite unpredictable in nature. He has a tendency to show no fear in the face of danger, putting himself in the spotlight (also selfless in that sense) without any care or plan. He doesn't hesitate to murder or save a life- he is both caring and uncaring at the same time. Sometimes he is clean- other times, he is extremely dirty.
When it comes to work, Madog mixes work with enjoyment.
Though unpredictable (and Madog puts effort into remaining this way), he is very committed- not loyal by any means unless he gains, but certainly determined once he is motivated- and he will reach the end goal by any means possible. Such motivations (and the only things that stay the same for Madog) include staying in shape, stealing and calling certain men "sexy."
He is not, however, very bright- academically, he was kicked out of education early. While considered very good at strategy, he is not good are core skills such as writing, math and science, lacking knowledge in these subjects.

History:
Madog was born on the planet Reach in 2615. She was given normal education throughout his childhood in the countryside, going to local towns to attend school while he worked on his farm. His parents always knew Madog was a strange combination of mischief and disorder- sometimes being hard working, other times lazy... sometimes doing really well in school, other times getting expelled. They, at first, shrugged it off as seeking attention, until early 2631, at the age of 16, Madog was charged with murder- almost right after getting kicked out of education on a whole. After the incident, Madog was never seen again by his parents.
A lot happened to Madog between 2631 and 2634. Due to killing a man, he took his chances and stole enough fortune in New Alexandria without getting caught and escaped to far away border planets, namely Liberty and Harvest- mainly Harvest, due to it's very troubled background being a good distraction to hide upon. He quickly, upon arriving, due to his fearless and determined nature, dominated the criminal factions there, through murder and rampage rather than slow planning and strategy.
By late 2632 and early 2633, Madog, now known as "Mad Dog" at the nearing age of 18 was a somewhat known and feared reckless plague upon both the law and opposing criminal organizations, mainly travelling between Liberty, Harvest and Neutral Space on many different jobs, travelling in small numbers to achieve greater work in small spaces of time.
In 2634, he returned to Reach after learning about a UNSC supply ship leaving for Liberty. Upon reaching Reach (pfft), he learnt very quickly about an inner-rim crime boss, Phoenix, visiting Reach. He met her- and, to his unpredictable nature, became friends with her instead of taking advantage and killing her ... or worse. Madog stated he would work for Phoenix if she helped him steal the UNSC supply ship heading to Liberty. She agreed- much to the amazement of those working for Madog. Alongside eachother, they worked well together and from that point on, they worked together to build a bigger Empire of Thieves.
With Madog on the outer-rim and Phoenix (Litra) on the inner-rim, both had enough connections to create The Clandestine.
Madog has had many tales to share. He once seduced a man into giving up his clothes- then stole his clothes and ran off. He once took on an entire crime organization by walking in and shooting everyone, one by one, then threw all the money out the window and was never seen again for another week, only showing up drunk a week later. Once- he even almost destroyed the HQ by pushing a man out of a window. Into space!
All these tales are what make Madog what he is. Unpredictable- and mad.
