Personality: SPARTAN 11PNTR is a seemingly calm individual, however, he does display certain ‘quirks’. He doesn’t seem to enjoy the act of killing itself, but he enjoys the engagement, the aspects of battle. He also seems to have a strange sense of humor, commonly making puns and references to ancient movies. However, it has been proven that SPARTAN 11PNTR is loyal to the UNSC, and will do his duty without hesitation.







Benjamin Gibbs was put into the SPARTAN V program at the age of 6, as is standard procedure. His parents had died in a car crash, and his grandparents got custody of him. They were both too old to take care of him, and his grandfather being a military man, volunteered him for the SPARTAN V program. Gibbs survived the augmentation and training, and got his armor when he graduated at the age of eighteen. To hone his skills further, Gibbs went into training for two more years, honing his close quarter combat skills, along with becoming proficient with some Covenant weaponry that the UNSC’s Sangheili allies had supplied. After completing his training and doing a few missions, Gibbs slowly climbed his way through the ranks. He was a proven soldier, he did his duty without question, and protected his fellow servicemen with his life. 

After a few years of being in the service, Gibbs was stationed at a UNSC base which came under attack from Covenant Forces. The situation quickly went to pot, and the UNSC forces were pinned. Rounding up the remaining forces, Gibbs launched an assault as a last ditch effort. Armed with a M45E shotgun and a gravity hammer he had grabbed off of a dead brute, Gibbs and the remaining forces pushed the Covenant forces back to buy enough time for UNSC reinforcements to come. He was founded heavily wounded, but alive when the reinforcements came. Due to his quick thinking and unrelenting resolve shown in the situation, Gibbs was promoted to Lieutenant. Gibbs was a team player, and eventually settled at the rank of Lieutenant. He wasn’t trying to climb the ranks; in fact, he was quite content with his position.

After being a Lieutenant for a few months, Gibbs was sent to a UNSC base which was under threat of attack from rebels. The base was an important location due to it being an armory with an extensive range of weaponry. Gibbs was overseeing an investigation of stolen weapons being done in the armory when an unauthorized UNSC soldier entered. Gibbs asked the soldier what he was doing there, and received an answer of, "YOU'RE NOT MY SUPERVISOR!" Gibbs then received a close range shotgun blast to his abdomen while he was unarmed and wasn't wearing any armor. Before passing out due to his injury, Gibbs called in for back up. After recovering, Gibbs was once again praised for his resolve, and now always wore some type of body armor while on a mission.
