General News
As you've undoubtedly noticed since our last real update, the news article is no longer being presented as a weekly iteration. At the time, I wasn't sure if we were going to make that permanent, or just implement it for the time being due to the anticipated release of Fallout 4 DLC. Having an update that says "we're still working on the exact same thing we were working on last week," isn't particularly informative, and it does take at least half an hour to write one of these.
As far as actual news goes, I'd like to start with Zen being on a leave of absence for the time being. He's got some stuff going on in his life, and as such will be gone for an unknown period of time. I don't know how long this is going to continue for, but since he's unable to take the time to post, those of you that are in a thread with him may need to skip him in your rotation if you're in a position to do so. Hopefully he'll be back soon, and everything works out okay.
Fallout
Automatron brought us some new story, and with it new canon that needs to be implemented into our Fallout information. We'll be holding off on editing this in to our Location Overviews until Far Harbor's release, but after some deliberation we've decided how to handle things.
Obvious additions such as the Rust Devils will be made, but most importantly will be giving the Silver Shroud a larger role in the canon. For those of you that didn't know, interacting with the Mechanist as the Silver Shroud gives some unique dialogue options, and as such we don't see any reason not to use this. It should be noted however, that while robots will be around the Commonwealth, most of the rampaging ones will have been dealt with by the current point in our timeline - either by Minutemen patrols, Rust Devils, scavenging Brotherhood, or the efforts of the Silver Shroud and the reformed Mechanist.
With only eight days left until May, the scheduled release month for Far Harbor, we're all excited to see what next Bethesda has in store for us.
Star Wars
Zelus has still been hard at work on his Military Might guide, and for those of you that haven't seen, both the Imperial Remnant section of the guide, and the military presence in Hutt space have been added. Be sure to have a look if you plan on undertaking war with any of these factions, and be assured there's more to come.
That's all the Nexus related updates I have for you this week, but with the next update there might be something new.
For now though, this is Immortal, signing off.
