- Elara Lance was born to Imperial Weapons Developers on Dubrillion in 11 BBY. She joined the Imperial Navy at a young age and became a notable pilot. She was loyal to the Empire and its ideas, still seeing the New Republic as the Rebellion it was born from. In 20 ABY, she was selected to become a member of and in-squad pilot for Scalpel Squad, a special Stormtrooper unit in the Imperial Remnant. Her former CO was not happy to lose such a pilot, but her new Stormtrooper sergeant, Deckard Pike was definitely glad to gain one, as the two eventually married. Elara is tasked with flying the Modified Mu II, The Garrison.
- Herebrand Abraros was born in 6 BBY to soldiers in the Imperial Ground Forces stationed on Ord Mantell. Joining the Imperial Army at a young age, his specialty was certainly not combat. Abraros could hold his own but where he really excelled was at tech. Slicing terminals, networks and droids, repairing weapons, ships and other machinery and operating various technological items. When Scalpel Squad was in the process of being created, he was selected as the tech expert, slicer and communications specialist. He was trained for these special, hazardous assignments in the years before 20 ABY, when the squad was officially formed.
- Ranik Vosh, son of a Death Star Gunner and an Imperial Naval Ensign, was born in 0 BBY. He was taken into Imperial Training at a very young age, as many soldiers were needed to regain the territory the Empire had lost. He was an exceptional medic and was often able to save or revive people past all reason. He was surprisingly level-headed and unfazed by the terrible things he had to look at every day. It was not long before he was selected to train as a combat medic in the Stormtrooper Corps and was later chosen to be the medical expert for Scalpel Squadron.
Personal Information

Relationship Status: Married (Elara Pike)
Personality: Deckard Pike was born in the early days of the Galactic Empire and was raised to be a patriot. The corrupt Republic and its false freedom had been done away with and the Empire had brought peace to the better part of the galaxy. Pike is loyal to his squad, but he is loyal to the Empire first. He believes that most any step taken in the interest of the Empire is a step toward a better future for the galaxy. The lives taken in the defense and expansion of the Empire are outweighed by the future lives that will be saved by the peace and order that the Galactic Empire brings with it. He can joke and kid around with his fellow soldiers but is unlikely to do so with a stranger or higher-ranking officer and will not allow chit-chat to get in the way of their duty to the Empire.
History
Deckard Pike was born on Bastion, then known as Sartinaynian, in the year 16 BBY. His mother worked as a customs officer in an Imperial Spaceport, while his father was a shuttle pilot. He was raised to wholeheartedly believe in the principles of the New Order. The corrupt and ineffective bureaucracy of the Galactic Republic had been justly eradicated and the Empire he had been born into brought forth a new age of peace, strength and unity.
Deckard was eager to enlist in the Imperial Army as soon as possible and was selected to become a cadet in the Stormtrooper Corps. After the Battle of Yavin, Deckard's fervor and loyalty to the cause of the Empire was galvanized. The boldness of the insurgents and terrorists of the Rebellion had increased over the previous years, but he could never have imagined anything like this. They had flagrantly attacked an Imperial Space Station and destroyed a weapon that could very well have brought about an indefinite age of complete peace and order for the galaxy. Thousands of men and women of the Empire stationed on that base and on Endor were killed in the name of the chaos, corruption, disunity and ineffectiveness of the Old Order.
After a few years of serving in the Stormtrooper Corps, Pike was recommended to undergo special training at an Imperial Military Academy. After he completed the taught parts of this special training curriculum, he was put out in the field to train more extensively. He would be temporarily placed in various Stormtrooper squads to participate in specialized or especially difficult missions.
In 19 ABY, Pike's home planet of Sartinaynian, now known as Bastion, was made the official and permanent capital planet of the Galactic Empire. He was proud to call his homeworld the capital of the Empire, but was also unhappy with what came along with this. The Rebels, calling themselves the New Republic, a false and illegitimate political entity, had managed to hold out for almost two decades following their disgusting actions of treason against the Empire in 0 BBY. The war was over, whether people admitted it or not. Military action was no longer being taken against the Rebellion and no moves were made to retake rightful Imperial territory.
But barely a year after this realization, Pike's specialized training was considered to be complete. He would not longer hop from squad to squad aiding in their perilous operations, but command his own squad as a sergeant of the Galactic Empire. The fact that this specialized training regime was still being undertaken restored a bit of faith in Pike that the war was not over. It was just a new kind of war. War carried out by specialized squads and agents, not armies. The war would not end until those who had betrayed the Empire and its people and disrupted peace and order throughout the Galaxy were brought to justice. His new squad, designated "Scalpel Squad," would seek out, investigate, infiltrate and neutralize Rebel activity.
It has now been five years since Scalpel Squad was formed. It now has command of its own Raider II-Class Corvette, The Arbiter, and has an accompanying squadron of TIE/D Defenders known as "Scythe Squadron." The TIE Defenders are deployed with the Raider Corvette due to the standard TIE's lack of hyperdrive capability and the Raider's lack of a fighter hangar.
