Greetings people of the Wasteland. It is I, SteelPlate! Despite rumors to the contrary, I am not actually dead!
I've been playing more of Fallout 4 recently, and I had a pretty good idea for a roleplay, something I haven't done on this site in a long time (I'm not even sure anyone is even still here...feels like an empty Vault in here). As some of you know, I am the creator of Flathead County, Montanta, which is run by my faction, the SteelPlate Society. The county is fairly prosperous, thanks the the protection of the Steelmen, as well as the technological advancements of Charmaine Quinn, the Queen of the Society as well as a keen scientist. At the heart of the County lies the infamous Wasteland Dump, which is a Pre-War Landfill brimming with radiation barrels and sludge. It is so contaminated that you can see it's bright green glow for miles within the County Wall. While being a major source of pollution in the past, it's extremely high levels of radioactive materials have been useful in providing the SteelPlate Society a steady flow of resources necessary to manufacture Fusion Cores to keep the County Wall powered (the County Wall being a massive Force Field made with Enclave tech).
Most sane people tend to stay away from the Dump. But the Wasteland contains a lot of people who aren't sane. Some of these not sane people actually worship radiation. These people are called the Children of Atom. Now most of these silly fellows reside within the East Coast, but, should one of them have a vision (like Mama Murphy) of a far away place that holds a special area brimming with Rads, some of them might make a pilgrimage to it. They might be fanatical enough to even attempt to gather their followers and try to gain access to the Dump.
How would they do this? Would they try to do so peacefully? Or would they try to do so violently?
Would anybody be interested in helping me tell this story?
