Personality: A rather naive, and trusting fellow, he assumes that if you are in trouble, he is there to assist, regardless of the circumstances. He will also trust people he has assisted, regardless of their affiliations. He takes things literally, and will rarely think beyond specific orders. He never intends to cause harm, and will often take a pacifistic stance to combat, especially if he believes it to be unnecessary. Although if he believes combat will save lives, he will do whatever is within his skills.
Cino is rather curious, and if he doesn’t know something, he will ask, regardless of the context, regardless of whether the question would be stupid or inappropriate. He is blunt, but never in an intentionally demeaning way, which can often lead to some confusion. Cino has a lack of understanding when it comes to finance, and will often get underpaid for his actions, if he gets paid at all. Instead, Cino often finds things that are odd to him, and will take them off the field. These things could be anything at all, from a nice cup, to a piece of artwork. His ship, outside of the med bay looks like something out of a hoarder documentary.
History
Leading up to the Clone Wars, an organisation of scholars and pacifists left the galaxy, due to the increase of aggression. The assembled group, needing droids to boost their number, bought many droids, and Cino, fresh off the line, was one of their numbers. Eventually the group would spend some time exploring Wild Space and eventually setting down roots, as children were born to the crew. For decades, they lived in peace, and Cino assisted the exploration teams exploring the space around the colony.
Eventually, rebels escaping Imperial vessels happened upon Cino’s exploration vessels. The leader of the vessel, a doctor by the name of Connor, began working with the struggling rebels, assisting them in their survival within Wild Space. Eventually the rebels tried to get assistance from the colony itself, but the colony, not wanting to bring a war to their doorstep, refused, remaining neutral. Cino, Connor and Connor’s extended family, however, decided to assist the rebels in their operations in the area. Cino, would spend much of this time, patching up the troopers, and helping build the rebel base. Fortunately for the droid, he spent much of the remaining war, off the battlefield, serving mostly a logistics role.
Eventually, with the establishment of the New Republic, Cino retired from active service, and began working for the Space Rescue Corps. If there was a collapsed building in the Outer Rim, or victims from a pirate raid, Cino was there. He would assist many people throughout the Outer Rim. The credits from his service, had been paid to Connor, as in the eyes of any laws, Cino was his property (albeit loaned to the Space Rescue Corp). Now aged, Connor retired, and offered his old ship to Cino, along with much of the resources they had acquired over their time working with the Rebellion. Cino, wanting to continue serving the galaxy, was pleased to accept, and began working freelance for the citizens of the galaxy. Of course, he would often be prayed upon by ill-intentioned vagabonds, and eventually much of his equipment was stolen away from him. For as many nerdowells that he came across, Cino came across just as many people willing to give him things for his assistance. When travelling along the outer regions of the galaxy, Cino is sometimes recognised, and often he finds himself welcomed to a safe harbor. Some protect him out of pity. Cino doesn’t care for reasons, so long as he can continue helping people… after all… that’s what he was created to do.
