Personality: Todd's a pretty normal guy, all things considered. He's what you'd call an 'everyman', able to deal with and accept any kind of person (from tribal to ghoul, to civilized man to super mutant), so long as they treated him fair. He's usually in a light mood and tries to be a peace keeper when other people try to get violent with each other. He has a very passionate side, as he often picks up presents for Sarah while he is out scavenging.
History: Todd was born in Pennsylvania. For a child of the Wasteland, his childhood story is not particularly interesting. Like many before him, his father taught him how to shoot and maintain a weapon and how to read and write by his mother. He helped around the settlement that he grew up in, but after his mom passed away from a stroke, he left home to become a wanderer, as his father became emotionally unstable from the loss of his wife and fell into heavy drinking. Not particularly trained to do anything, Todd became a wanderer, which then turned into Scavenger as he scoured buildings for food and developed a knack for digging around.
Eventually, he found his way into New York. Being intimidated by the NYF, Todd hitched a ride with the New York City Bus Driver, and made his way into Manhattan, where he found the Public Library still standing. Hoping to find some supplies, he instead would find the woman of his dreams, in the form of a charming, intelligent woman named Sarah DeVille, whom he fell madly in love with upon sight. Along with her, he met Jennifer Steinem, Randy Fredrickson, Kevin Logans, and Alfred Bowers. He got on well with them, but had his hands full trying to keep Jennifer and Kevin from killing each other during the first few hours of their meeting. Fortunately, their differences were forever put aside when a Super Mutant attack forced them to work together, and when the raid was deflected, the group had a permanent friendship forged. Not long after, Sarah devoted the group to helping the people of New York, and Todd jumped at the opportunity to assist his love.
Today, Todd McKowski is willing to go almost and anywhere to find supplies for his dearly beloved. The only place that his love cannot make him go is to the Hudson Bay, as Sarah's affections, while inspiring and empowering, were not enough to stop Admiral Pinchworthy from tearing him apart.
